Port Royal Park & neighbourhood are situated in the Queensborough neighbourhood of South New Westminister, across the north arm of The Fraser River from New Westminister Quay. There is a 12 passenger ferry (which takes bikes & strollers) running between the two. There is a lovely waterfront walk along the shore.

Beautiful, large park in a quiet neighbourhood. If you're driving a distance here, the park is awesome, but even better is the walk along the water, there are a couple areas that have beaches and other than that it's a well maintained and safe area from my experience. Not 5 stars because if you go during the weekday, there is construction going on across the street. They end around 4, so just plan accordingly.

Quite a pleasant park in the middle of a residential area near the Fraser River. Nice picnic shelter with electrical outlets, full restrooms, small playground for the kids, water fountains for humans and dogs alike.

Unfortunately someone spread grease on different pieces of equipment. Our granddaughters shirt was ruined and we spent about 1/2 hour cleaning her hands. This was so disappointing as the playground has great equipment and kids can ride their bikes and scooters and stay within eyesight.

It can't rain all the time

It's a nice park with obstacles for all ages. It's a fantastic, quiet and family oriented location just steps from the river. Huge green field, shelter for hanging out away from the sun, clean bathrooms, and plenty of places to sit and watch the kids play.

It was very nice except it was midnight and very dark. I also took off one star because of the very long train. I was trapped by a train. I parked and took a nap and still there was train. There were other cars driving around but there was no escape.

Great little park. Decent playground (didn't visit due to covid concerns) but some kids were playing. Large green field, we sat there and enjoyed a nice picnic. Washrooms were clean. Community garden was cool to see and a quick walk took us to the lovely Riverside walk.
