Obstructed views of the Fraser River. Pedestrian/bike overpass connection to the BC Parkway. Has a playground, wading pool, benches, open fields.

Jay Dubya

Nice little park...but no dog park

Alma Delia Hernandez Marquez

Naima Nizari

Nice place to go for a walk.

Yasmina Catargiu

Big park with plenty of room for running, rolling down the hills, and biking for small kids. Well maintained park and year round open washrooms. Bit windy all year round, so bring weather appropriate clothes. My kids always love spending few hours here. Usually there are always kids at the park.

Easy to access by SkyTrain and a short walk from 22nd Street Station. The pool is nice for the young ones to cool off in the heat. The playground keeps the older ones quite entertained. Four stars cause the washrooms only have one stall each and the sink is in with the stall otherwise it's a great park!

Great place for kids, especially toddlers. It has a barely knee high pool that you can let the kids play in. There's also a lifeguard on duty. Lots of toys to play with. There's a climbing fort so they can burn off energy. A sand pit. Grass field. Several b picnic tables. The only downside is the water area that like a slide. It has been turned off and I was told they couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Nice big park with a splash pad, big playground and fields. Great views especially on a clear day.

Awesome playground for a small get together with friends, spacious field for sports and easy to distance. Bathroom could use some work though.

Na D

Great park which is usually not too busy. Has a wading pool and bathroom s on top of the usual playground and field.

John Philip

This is a great space in the West End to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately the SkyTrain and whistling from the freight trains adds to the noise pollution. The park itself is well maintained and opens up east to south for some stunning views.

Archie Henderson

Nice park near Burnaby. Small playground large field and an outdoor lacrosse box.

I love this park. Secluded on a side street so it's a safe area, traffic-wise. It has a great little splash pad open during the summer, although I wish it was open longer! And the playground offers a lot to do for kids of all ages. My only gripe is that the playground is situated on the side of a hill so for parents, it can be difficult to see your kid.

One of our most favorite family parks. The shallow pool in the summer is very refreshing and cool. The play place is one of the best featuring a big multi-level wood house and a great educational water stream and dam module to show the children how they work. There's a hockey field and a tennis court. As for the view, it's one of the best, being placed on a hill, it has a beautiful scenic view of the Fraser river, the skytrain, the Surrey valley and Mount Baker in WA.

This park is mostly an open field and a baseball diamond. There is a reasonably sized wading pool that is filled on summer afternoons, along with a good playground and sandbox area. The presence of a small building with fairly well maintained public restrooms is a bonus. Parking is very limited, being are streetside only in a residential neighborhood that uses that same parking. This parking is lot directly accessible from the major roads. The park is near 22nd street Skytrain station, but to get to it you have to cross 20th street which is a rather dangerous intersection.

Great for spring and fall, horrible in the summer. TONS of bees, hornets and wasps literally everywhere. I think it has to do with the many pine trees and big flowery bushes that attracts em.. Plus there must be nests around. They should re- plant those elsewhere and not have them around a wading pool. If u go prepare to be constantly dodging the hundreds of bees. Last summer in just one afternoon i saw 4 different kids get stung. No thanks.

Jamie Silva

Not as good as the Grimston park I grew up knowing however still good. One of the things that makes this park loose a star is that the water river seems to be permanently shut off. That in itself is a huge loss as it is one of the bigger features there.

Josh P

Rana Elias

Nice small park with a shallow pool for little ones . But because of near sand play area the sand come in it because of kids going in and out to pool.

Wait... I can review parks too? I didn't even eat anything... well okay. This park has everything - grass, trees, a playground, Uncle Bill? The kids have developed their own society within the day to day play mentality, though without access to a conch, they're yet to find their way. I chose the Star Trek method of non-invasive monitoring until they started performing sacrifices to the jungle gym gods, then I took my leave. Overall I would gladly park again. The benches were adequate, if only a little judgy. Next time I'll have kids first so I'm less awkward.
