Beautiful green space in the middle of the city. Great place for a quick walk but you will need to watch your step as the loose gravel trails can cause a spill to the unwary

Gary M

First time I get to experience this "hidden" Park", I say hidden because it's behind where I live and I didn't know about it. Great for walks, would be nice if there were more signage and a path route.

Lovely little hidden gem of an urban park. And it's got a staircase at the "top" end of the ravine, so you can walk through and pop out at the top near Richmond Street.

Always peaceful, quiet, and beautiful walk. There are coyotes at times in the ravine, so do not leave children or pets unattended or off leash.

I really nice little piece of nature to escape from the rush of the city. You can do a quick 15 minute walking trail and then admire the little Lake that has turtles and fish.

It was a great walk the first time. The boys enjoyed looking at the pond and spotting the various wildlife. Unfortunately, we lost a monkey stuffie that belonged to one of the boys. We traced our steps but didn't find it. Otherwise it was a wonderful afternoon walk.

Silvia Martinez

It's a path in unkempt patch of wood. barely a park

Great little hike to do. Nice points of interest for kids. Options to make it easier and harder for a walk. Great place to take a stroller and kids.

Rimothy Timothy

Nice quiet stroll. You almost forget you're surrounded by a city.

Jim Parrett

This is a beautiful walk in a semi-secluded park. Unfortunately, it is also a leash-free dog park even if the signs do not indicate that fact. NOBODY leashes their dogs here. I watch people park their cars on Blackberry Drive and let their dogs run down the steps into the park while the owners casually walk down. You can tell this is common practice in New West; people just let their dogs roam free as if they've been doing for awhile now without any trepidation. My only walk in this park two years ago was a rather unsettling encounter with an unleashed dog who circled my feet growling and barking. Its owner sniffed at me as if I was to blame. I've seen similar incidents over and over from my window overlooking the park. If you are a senior, if you have kids, or if you have anxiety, it is best to walk elsewhere. New West needs to put up warning signs indicating that it is a leash-free park. Someday, something bad will happen with a dog in this park (if it hasn't already). It's only a matter of time.

What a wonderful surprise. Just getting over respiratory infection and needed a quick walk. It was flat. Not strenuous and very private and quiet. Lots of birds. Enjoyed the walk very much.

Craig Maltby

Quiet and cool stroll down the ravine, a lovely walk especially when partnered with Queens Park.

Greg Domville

Tranquil in the middle of the city. Wish it was longer but worth going. We have turned this into a great loop by walking from Queens to the far end of the Quay (by steel and oak) then walk along the Quay up to Royal then up the ravine. Gorgeous way to end this 9km trek

The little trail doesn't take long to walk, 10-15 minutes depending on speed. Lovely little place to get away from the city for a bit. The pond has a couple of beautiful Koi fish swimming about.

There is very limited parking. The trail is not a loop. The pond is more manufactured than natural. We didn't understand why there were so many positive reviews. It is quiet and tree filled.

Have been twice and have spotted eagles, a coyote and a range of small birds. Good walk in the neighbourhood.

Polished off a 1.5L bottle of wine with the boys. Turned out to be a great night and the homeless folks joined us for a little throw down. Would return with my dog since it's very dog friendly.

Combined classic garden beauty and green hiking trail, the Glenbrook Ravine Park is a hidden paradise. Enters form Jamieson Court, you step into a mini Butchart Garden; its exquisite beauty would immediately catches your heart. When you walk further down the trail you will find a uphill climbs with stairs about 50 meters elevation in the green; back to the trail, after some mild spiral Lushy uphill, you will see the beautiful Glenbrook Drive neighbourhood.

An absolute hidden gem! Lived in new west for 6 years before finding this place by staring at Google maps, now part of my preferred regular walking circuit. Feels like a genuine chunk of Pacific Northwest forest in the middle of the city. A must visit for locals.

This park is gorgeous. The first time I stumbled upon this place, I got vertigo looking down the ravine. It really earns it's name. One second you're walking through a residential area and next thing you know it's like you're in the middle of nowhere. It would be amazing to have a property that backs onto this.

This small ravine park is great for a shady stroll on a hot day, and is a good place to walk dogs. Its wide gravel paths are good for social distancing. There is a landscaped garden area at one end, with a koi pond and parking lot (some spaces are reserved for the daycare). There are no washrooms accessible to the public.
