REVIEWS OF Animaland Park IN New Brunswick

Every year we get a picture with old blow heart. Its become a family tradition. And will continue until he falls apart. I cant really speak too much about the rest of the park though. Its a campground not a play ground. But even still the rest of the animals are mostly falling apart or you cant even tell what animal its supposed to actually be.

Nice lil camp ground nesteled away from the beaten path on the old #1 hi-way just in from the penobsquis turn off !!!

This review is really for those looking to see the old cement figures and not so much reflective of the current business. We visited here after the campground was closed for the season (November) and asked motel staff next door if we were okay to walk around. We were really looking to see the different cement figures and old works. The figures are throughout a campground now, so a lot of what we saw was right next to campers. It didn't have the eerie abandoned feeling, more of a walking through a campground hoping no one minds feeling. It was cool to see it all, they are as we thought- albeit a little smaller in real life. Cool stop if you're passing by.

Great small campground with a bunch of sculptures all around.

not a very inviting place. Wasted a 2 hr drive to see this place and theres no information on whether its even open to public or ticket office. It seems to be just be a camping ground now.

Remember it well as a youngster, and as the dream of a dedicated local entrepreneur while living there in the early nineties.

This place is closed. There are no trespass signs. We trespassed anyway. As we went in to take pictures of the horse statue, a man drove up an apologized for the no trespass signs. Only in Canada! He said they rent out the site to people but strangers wander in to gawk at the old statues all the same. They're trying to minimize that. So while we had an interesting experience stopping there, as far as I can tell it's closed and not super welcoming. Get a picture of the weird skeletal horse and get out before you get caught.

I loved this place! The statues were amazing. The beginning of the trail was a little hard to find and the bridge looked a little unstable but the walk though the woods was great! I had done research and expected most of the statues but some took me by suprise and I almost thought they were real animals! We spent 2 nights there. The camping spaces were quite small and a little hard to figure out where yours ended and another began. The water taps seemed a little sketchy, there was definately sand in my water even after the owners assured me that it is drinkable and clean. The bathrooms were nice, they were made out of an old shipping container. They were real toilets and showers so I was happy. I would suggest bringing a four wheeler if you have one because there is an attached four wheeling trail at the park.

Did not camp here, we just stoped by to check out the sculptures. We asked the owner, who was very greatful we asked as the sculptures are on the camping grounds. The sculptures are very interesting , and although in a bit of disrepair are well constructed, a very artistic mind created these.

Reservation was quick and easy. I think the person should have given me a heads up that i should check in at Timberland (next door). The lady at the front desk did not seem very knowledgeable. She was friendly though. The campground's playground is outdated. Campsites are small with lots of trees. The pool at Timberland is free to use. Oh, and there are atv trails. Washrooms are clean and have showers. Overall i might return or i might try some other place. ? ?

I absolutely love the unique sculptures by the brilliant Winston Atwood Bronnum and had a great time photographing them!

I heard about animaland a few years ago and it has been on my bucket list ever since.today my husband and I decided to take a drive to check it out. We came to find it had been turned into a camp ground. We we're ecstatic about it. Now There would be someone taking care of the place. Well we went and walked the park to see the pieces, which are still beautiful, and as we were leaving we were approched by and older man in a golf cart who was very rude. He asked us what we were doing and my husband told him we came to see the sculptures. He then informed us it is private property. My husband apologized and said we were going on our way. The man responded with 'i suggest you do.' I have worked over 10 years in customer service and hospitality and I'm completly baffled about this. I would never treat someone interested in a business I owned or worked for like that. There were no signs posted, there was no one at the gate to direct anyone or give information. It was completely absurd and appalling the way this man treated potential customers. My husband and I were talking about possibly taking our son there to camp, we will no longer be doing so because of this mans behaviour.

I am so happy that someone bought this and is doing a wonderful job of showcasing the wonderful history of this property. The campground was a wonderful idea . Hopefully I will get to stay there sometime. (Stopped by during off season because I really wanted to see the sculptures. ) Wonderful trails as well . Thank you to the owners of the campground for taking something that may have gotten lost and bringing such beautiful life back to it !
