Absolutely awesome, a nice quiet spot in BC to enjoy without a gagillion other people. The hike to the lighthouse was nice and offered a spectacular view of the lake.

Gorgeous trail, amazing view of the lake. I was sad to find the lighthouse had previously been vandalized, and has since, been boarded up. It was my long awaited first visit , but won't be my last. ????

Great view of the lake and bay. There was a bad storm a couple weeks before we showed up, so lots of fallen trees and obstacles across the path. We made it with ease though. Worth a visit for sure!

We only went to the lighthouse, but it has a spectacular view of Kootenay Lake. It's cool that you can go inside and to the top of the lighthouse!

Excellent area for Spring, Summer and Fall hiking, paddling, fishing and sun seeking. Beautiful secluded beaches, lush forests and a great place to explore central Kootenay Lake !

Great short hike into sawmill cove and campground. Very serene cove. Trail is a bit rocky at the start and has a few tripping hazards for young kids but i still highly recommend it.

Good short walk to a lighthouse that you can go up on and see kootney bay, or the ferry you just missed by 1 minute!

Beautiful place to boat in to lots of room. Warm water too. Seems to be one of the hotspots for lake hangouts.. There's a bc fisheries bouy in the middle stay clear of it Appears to be renting sites on the shores too

Nice easy walk to the light house from the parking area (I'm young so easy is different for me, my mum didn't like how uphill it was) gorgeous view of the lake!
