Great location within Nelson, at the expense of space and privacy. facilities were clean. Price-wise its a great alternative to a motel. Will come again when in the area next.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful aside from one. Parking was terrible but otherwise not a bad place to stay, close to everything in Nelson.

This little campground is tucked right into a small forest in the middle of the city. It's a short walk to town and all amenities. The service during my recent visit was much improved over the previous year.

The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and our tent pad was great. This municipal campground in the middle of town is exactly as we expected.

Perfect jumping off point for exploring the town. It's about a fifteen minute walk to most of the exciting things we wanted to see. Not at all private but when we stayed here it was pretty quiet. We have a small camper van and it was great to be able to have power hook-ups available. There are fewer large site's available here so being smaller was a bonus. The noon check out time is a huge bonus as it saved us from having to pay for parking downtown.

Reserved a spot for our trailer summer 2015. Arrived, No one in the office. Place stunk of pot. Some one finally showed up. They had booked us in a tent spot. Said we could move the table and park our tow vehicle else where. Gave out spot to another couple and had to find other accommodations. People where packed in there quite right. Quite more crampt that the picture lead you to believe.

Fun place to camp. Close to downtown so we were able to ride our bikes everywhere.
