Great place to go for something to do. There's a playground, garbage cans, picnic tables, narrow sand beach, fishing area, boat rentals, and a nice, simple walking path.

It's an awesome lake to come to and enjoy during the Hot Lazy Days of Summer. It is almost always calm, there is an area that is fenced off for swimming. It has a Sandy beach. Kind of Sandy water entry that is a very shallow grade for any child or toddler. There are some floating docks that you can swim out to, there is also long weeds and grasses that grow near the docks; that I thought to be a little dangerous for some people. But overall 5 stars for sure.

Nice short walk along Long Lake. The path is lined with massive blackberry bushes too! Good bird watching location, and we even saw some bunnies. Quick and easy access to the public swimming area on the lake.

A very short trail that goes part way around a portion of Long Lake. I assume this is mostly used by locals because it doesn't go anywhere except back and forth to the swimming area at Loudon Park which most people access from the parking lot but it is a nice little walk along the lake if you want to leave the beach.

Nice short trail but busy area, many locals. View of the lake is beautiful but the path runs along the backyard of home owners. I prefer the woods but this is a nice trail in the middle of the city!

It's got a nice trail that's good for running. It's got a nice beach that's quite popular in summer. I suggest not going on the far left of the lake due to the steep decline and seaweed. But staying near the center of the lake is fantastic. Park is good and in general is a good spot

Great little beach spots, but it is a .5km trail thru what feels like people's backyard with a great view of other people's homes across the lake. More path than trail.

A nice spot to relax and enjoy the nice sun during the summer! The lake offers a nice breeze to keep you cool and there is a swim zone for kids and a dock not too far for them to swim to! The swimming area doesn't get too deep (probably 15 feet at most) but there is some long grass that might feel gross on your feet!

Easy access to Long Lake and Very Popular! A Great Community Park, with playground equipment, a small handicapped accessible fishing dock, a lovely sandy beach, designated swimming area (whose boundaries are marked with floating ropes and buoys, to keep the boaters,etc at a safe distance from the swimmers.) There are 2 parking lots, 1 at the Victoria St. entrance and one just off of the North Island Highway 19A, both have handicapped parking. The playground, beach, trail and fishing dock are accessed from the Victoria St entrance, this is the Loudon Park portion of Long Lake. This portion of the park is also home to both the Canoe and Kayak clubs, lessons for both are available during the summer season. (Check the Parks and Recreation guide for more information) The change/restrooms are also on this side of Long Lake. (Open during daylight hours in the summer) The trail at Loudon Park is about .5 K, and it's Not a loop, but it is beautiful! The North Island Highway 19A entrance has an easy access boat ramp, automobile and handicapped parking with several picnic tables available. (I will have to return and edit this portion, I believe the Highway Accessed area is actually another Park, but I am not sure what it"s name is... More info to come Please also look for "Long Lake" as that is the lake that these Parks give you access to

It was nicer after I picked up several pieces of fishing line off the fishing dock , picked up 7 pieces ranging from 1ft to 4ft long , no respect for other wild life so i'll just keep cleaning it up

Nice walk on the trail along a section of the Long Lake, paths covered with dense layer of colorful leaves, flocks of Canada geese resting on the water, some taking off on their next leg of migration.

A good place to visit in the late afternoon or evening in the summer. No life guards. Walk in the beach trail all year long.

Great place to paddleboard as it is generally quiet waters. Small dock to launch a boat. Quaint little beach for relaxing and swimming. Two floating swim platforms out in the water. Stay within the swim area or get inundated with weeds.
