Love this playground. It has two seperate playgrounds as well as a water park. Usuallu lots of kids there and I have never had a hard time finding parking. My daughter loves the water park there so much they she will talk about it all week- she's 2.5.

Nice skate park! Decent flow; mostly intermediate and novice level but there is a little bit of beginner level obstacles and a very small flatland area.

A massive and well groomed park. Most days you can hear children at play laughing and running just having a marvelous time. The park being attached to a High School supports Football, soccer, baseball. Along with a small water-park for children it is a huge grassy area surrounded on 3 sides by trees. So a lot can and does happen most days with the weekends always busy even in winter.

It was so krampack it was really hard to utilize any of the playground maybe it was just a poor day to go

This facility is a good community park at Seventh Street and Bruce Avenue, Nanaimo BC. It offers multi sports area with water and play park for children. It is in the campus of Jhon Barsby community school and Little Ferns early learning center. There are 3 apartment complex by this school which are good for parents to live there and let children walk to school. Few hundred meter walking distance there is Collier Dam Park worth visiting.

Love the water park, looking forward to the sk8 park. Sux that the lacross box/rec rinks and bathroom are locked in the winter. The river and all the trees and the bmx area are all quite lovely. I enjoy walking the path and the new one they built along barsby. New wood chips in the back park.. Featuring grass spaces and picnic benches, it's good for bday parties. Bees like the clovers in the summer so watch out where you sit... There's an accessible community garden adjacent... With a gazebo. Lotsa more trees and festivals in the summer, with the soccer field and school nearby. Wouldn't recommend swimming in the river, but if you have water shoes in the summer it might be nice to wade around. Keeping it clean and in good repair.. Also, fill the gravel pot holes in the parking lot.. There should be a dog park around but there's no dogs allowed in the playground area.. They're not to be on the field beside either.

The updated park is Clean, fun and structurally sound. The old parks are well kept and The Waterpark is nice to cool off in during the hot summers! The kids love it and there's alot of grass area with the Fields next door, benches and picnic tables for seating. It makes an attractive area for children's birthday's ???????? There's a Skatepark next door and more amenities to make for fun events!

They have put in a new way to enter the park...just past Parkview Drive is a paved trail that is blocked so no vehicles can drive in...so instead of going all the way up to Sixth Street we can enter from the bottom of the park...Excellent!
