It's a great view and its close to a few conveniences it's a nice big stretch a beach mostly Pebbles but there are some areas with sand it's a very nice relaxing spot.

Close to home, always beautiful, this beach is a favourite place to walk! The most beautiful sunrises in the morning and moonrises in the evening. We have seen porpoises chased by orcas dashing through the waters of the bay. Christmas sail by, with boats decorated with lights and ????. Beautiful everyday!

Playground, grass area, sand ocean, shade and sunny spots, plus for the Pokemon enthusiats a short board walk of 6 lures always seem to have a lure;) great place to beach comb and enjoy the ocean breeze!

Redone in the last few years, this is the sort of place where locals should pull over when driving past, sit on a bench and just pause in life for twenty minutes.

This facility is serving Nanaimo community and operated, maintained by the city. Has very good grass civered sports ground but the building is pretty old with basic facilities. There is an Activity center for renting on time or daily basis with very nominal rent. This hall hasa small stage with audio system don't know if works or not, washrooms are pretty clean, small pantry/kitchen. There is also another section in the same building. Plenty of parking available. Can be reached by public transit.

A good place to think, as there are hardly any people around - unless there's a soccer game or field hockey. In the summer, it is a clean and safe place for a family with kids or neices, nephews, ect. This is because in the summer, it becomes a water park. Also has bathrooms.

Took Grandson to water park area and he had a great time. Areas for young children and older kids.. adults have fun along with their childern. There is a lacrosse court, tennis, baseball and soccer. Good job Park's Department

Fun water park. Section areas: Baby/toddler and Bigger kid section. Baby/toddler area has smaller water features that are perfect for splashing. Bigger kid area has water drops and water cannons.

We are here OFTEN. Such a beautiful spot , cozy little park! Parking can be very sparing or very tight and people do drive the street pretty freakin quick ( the city is working on it ) but all In all it's such a good spot ♡
