Richards is a great little park. Not often very buisy. It's well maintained With a generous amount of large trees. There are a couple of Picknick table areas and a great view of lake Ontario.

Very close to bigger brother jack darling park but I like this one way better for 2 reasons: Not too far from parking Not very crowded I think people are more attracted to Jack Darling and hence this is my go to beach absolutely!

Some muddy spots and a lot of flying nets but what else can you expect from a park by the lake shore? Very scenic and calming. We enjoyed sitting on the picnic table right by the lake with the swans, geese, and loons swimming by. Such a lovely time ????

Very nice place in Streetsville area. There is good green area and small beach side. During weekend it can be very busy so make sure to reach early. Parking can be big hassles. There are lots of benches. Enjoy good time with family and friends.

It's one of the nice park you have on lake shore road. It has a small beach. Nice clean water. Parking is limited, only one parking area. Not a place to ride your scooters or bikes. Very nice place for picnic area. Take a mat or your chair and relax in the park. Lots of picnic benches over seeing the lake. Kids can enjoy the swans , geese and multiple other birds near the shore.

Two great little beaches, a play structure for the kids and little BBQ stands for public use. It's likely a little less busy as a result of being a few minutes west of the bustling Port Credit core. Highly recommended!

I didn't see life guards there. There were barely any garbage bins around the beach area. It was sad to see people leaving all kinds of plastics around the area. Perhaps placing more signage will help.

This is such an awesome park for families and kids. Very clean place. Lots of open space and parking too. I love that they have bbq too. Not to mention the majestic lake ontario. It does get quite cold here so would suggest to bring a light jacket. Lots of takeaway options like pizza etc. Do not miss the ice cream truck in the afternoon.

Great place for family outings. BBQ in picnic areas. Seats. Park has swings and slide. Unsupervised beach. Be careful of strong under water currents therefore ust supervise the children. May book area for photo shoots. Also may book picnic area for large family functions.

It was a great experience. Kids loved it. Has park (swings, slides, etc.) and is on the shore so kids can go in water. But make sure that you are right beside the kids so they don't fall as the sometimes the tides are big and fast.

A good place in Mississauga lake shore area, has a small sandy beach. On a clear day you can observe Toronto Skyline. Parking may be sometime difficult to find especially on weekends. Overall a great place to spend few hours in summer

Has kids play area with swings, slides etc. Has a few, around 6 to 7 free bbq stands. Toilet is also there. Has some benches and 2 party areas.

This is one of our lovely parks here in port credit. The 3 star rating here is for the poorly run washrooms which is ongoing I am pretty sure everyone can agree. Now I am not your typical hard to please citizen who complains about everything and everyone. We can agree however that ain't nothing like having to change your young babies diaper in a rundown facility that gives every indication from the looks of it outside. Just remember to bring toiletries with you folks and don't bother trying to call for help. Enjoy the park.

Nice alternative to Jack Darling park if you can't get parking there. Not a huge park, but there is a small beach to play at and an abundance of shade, perfect for a picnic or BBQ. Beach is not maintained and is a bit messy.

Park was clean. Free parking available here. Water is on sort walk from its nearest parking. In first week of may I had horrible experience at park because of mosquitoes. I walk around different part at park in seek of good place to sit and enjoy the weather. But there wasn't any. I don't know if people weren't expected in park on that season although open gate state differ.

Lots of parking on weekdays. There are a couple of picnic table. Saw many families doing barbecue. The beach is smaller but it’s relatively empty on weekdays. It’s clean and pretty. It also a playground for kids.

Park itself is nice. Lots of space close to the water. Parking lot is small and gets full quickly. Worst part was that the washrooms were locked/closed and there were 4 porta potties to use (gross). None of them had any toliet paper! And where are you supposed to wash your hands? City of Mississauga really needs to rectify this ASAP! There were a lot of families with little kids there today on a hot summer Sunday, and I guarantee you those kids DID NOT use those porta potties. Soon the city will be cleaning up poop and it won’t be the doggie kind

The park and other parks in the city are a breath of fresh air!

I'm not really a park person but this Park is awesome. Its situated by the lake and is easily accessible with free parking. Lots of activity for kids and adults can relax on the benches or on the grass. This park has BBQs provided by the city of Mississauga as well as washroom facilities.

The beach and area is very nice and a perfect spot to bring the family. The city however engages in the disguising practice of purposely not giving NEARLY enough parking so they can give you parking tickets. there are maybe 20 - 25 parking spots for an area that could easily fit 100 people.

My first park experience where I spent more than 5 hours. It has swings n slides for kids, small beach to enjoy river. Well maintained grass all over,public restrooms, couple barbecue for usage by general public. Had to wait for 20-30 mins for parking so my suggestion would be to go early and secure a spot. I would recommend taking a barbeque along with lot of snacks since the only food you can buy is ice cream from a truck

One of the picturesque park on the lake in Mississauga. There were many white geese in the lake as well as on the shore. The Lakeshore appeared like seashore because of the sea sand. A good park to enjoy for both children and adults.

Beautiful park with relaxing atmosphere. I like to walk along the beach when I need to gather my thoughts. The beach itself is a mix of sand and small rocks. You can usually find lots of beach glass here as well. It's nice to see the lake turn discarded jagged glass from bottles and things into beautiful beach glass over time.

The place is small but yet spaced out. The park has a 5 foot tall peace monument bearing the inscription ‘Planet Earth is our Home, Humanity is our Family’. They also have a big playground for kids along with washrooms. Highly recommended, you will definitely love the place

More swings are required, the city has to realize the increasing number of population, inam pretty sure that they are aware of that especially after we have embraced so many many new comers, therefore, their political decision (regardless whether we support it or not) should be completed by improving the parks to be able to accommodate this unprecedented number of people coming to the parks. Add to that, the bad smell of the burned diesel of the ice cream truck, these truck must undergo close monitoring, inspection and quality assurance compliance.

This is a nice and quick get away on Lakeshore road in Mississauga. The park is not big yet has some picnic area, a park with slides,etc for kids, it has water front and that's really beautiful. It has Benches for picnic and barbeque. A big big downside was that the toilets were very very dirty, so they haven't been maintained. Otherwise a great place to visit for a quick evening break

This time of the year (June) there is a lot of Poplar Fluff - beware if you have allergies! A large green space with lots of old trees which allows for picnics - the park has public BBQs throughout. Easily accessible small/medium size beach. Fairly large parking lot which does get full on weekends.

Richard's Memorial Park is a great place. The trail is paved and very easy to walk. There are many flower gardens around that are absolutely beautiful and great for photography. There are some nice sections of lakefront to see and have a nice picnic at. The park is always clean and free of garbage and any hazards. The park has some great areas for photography. There are many benchs to sit on and admire the view of Lake Ontario. There is public bathroom on site. There is plenty of parking on site. Great place to take a walk on a nice summer day with loved ones.

Have just find out this little park on the lakeshore BLVD by accident. What a pleasant surprise! A quite place with water gentally pounding on the bank, a few swans swimming around elegantly... definitely a highlight in the Port Credit neighbourhood....

Beautiful scenery, lakefront, with lots of space for Bbq, playground, and plenty of trees to enjoy the summer, sufficient parking space. The bad: too many visitors, specially on weekends, so try to arrive early to get a good spot.
