Great park with all the things you want: quiet spots, water park, cycling trails, a beach, benches by the water, pretty trees, and shaded picnic tables. I didn’t love the noisy jet skiers, but otherwise, it was a great park—not too busy where we went. Cycling trail is the best part—could have hung out all day if they had water!

NOTE: The parking lot in front of the large splash pad is under construction, and cannot be accessed completely. Some people are still driving in the exit to park in the few spots that are intact, but it's tough to get to the main pad. A large, sprawling park with some great areas to enjoy with the family. My toddler enjoyed playing in the small standalone park near the water, which had a small splash pad (one large circle) and a decent-sized playground with multiple structures. The grounds were well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking throughout. The sandy areas along the water are not great, but not really much to be expected given it's not the purpose of the park. We walked over to the large splash pad, which was fantastic. Nice themes (dragon, birds, flowers, etc.) and a very comfortable artificial ground that was soft for the kids. Bathrooms directly nearby as well. The small restaurant near the splash pad was standard fare, but not unreasonably priced ($6-7 for a burger+fries). Don't have much to say about the marina itself as it's not my area of expertise.

Friends and I went for a place to relax and chill by the water. Promenade park is known for tiny spots to sit down by the lake. Not to mention, the wildlife is amazing and comfortable around people so you can capture images of animals that are beautiful.

Lovely year round park with seasonal splash pad areas and Marina. Beach games are also accommodated. The kids were having a blast, with, swings, monkey bars, as well. Great summer location but can be enjoyed any time of year.

We have gathered with friends to play volleyball and we knew that the field is working until 11 at this park. This time, we got there at 8PM, waited in line and then it is started getting darker up to the point you can't see the ball anymore. The light was off!! We tried to call the number provided on the park website, with the hope to remind them to turn on lights on volleyball field, however the voice machine responded regards their working hours been until 9. We have waited until 10 with the hope, they would noticed that volleyball field is missing light, however there was no point to wait any longer. It's gorgeous park overall and I feel bad to give it 3 stars. The reason for it is the situation we ended up and because no information available at the volleyball field, who can we contact beside park management who works until 9.

One of the best splash pads in the city but this place gets too crowded and parking is a bust. Also hard to find a place to sit. They added the beach volleyball in the same area as the splash pad and there is not enough parking to accommodate both, along with people coming to stroll or fish. When you look at the other side of the water in the first area, you used to see so many trees. They removed those since there's a new subdivision going in over there. It was such a peaceful area to relax by the water and now you are starring at the CN Tower and the city. Also, the play area is ok but the slide is actually a set of poles. The whole park area revolves around climbing. Not fair for kids with disabilities. My kid is disappointed with the park. The city failed when they "upgraded" it. It used to be a fun pirate ship. Best park is Lakeside Park! And the washrooms need more attention here. There are no proper seats on the metal prison-style toilets. Yet, if you go to a park in a more affluent park of the city, you get proper seats and a clean washroom like Lakeside Park. The last time I was at Lakefront Promenade park, I had to rush to Tim Hortons to use the washroom because there was a diarrhea explosion in one of the stalls. That is not the city's fault aside from the fact they don't have more cleaners.

The lakefront promenade park is beautiful. For the kids, there is a splash pad and a playground. A boat launch is available for those who desire to bring their own kayaks, boats, sailboats, and other watercraft. Kayaking is a good idea. Beach volleyball is a lot of fun to play.

This has been one of the best places and a lucky find for my family and I. We get to visit here many times in summers. Ample parking, lots of spots for bbq, Water is great, place to hire/rent a boat and what not.????????

Wonderful place to spend time. However based on the current covid situation this place seems to be little crowded and extremely popular. Beautiful view of the sunrise/moonrise. Just sitting there feels so good, but have to face the crowd. I noticed 3 parking areas and the last one was a bit crowded with taking us around 5-10 mins to get a spot, may be the initial ones had space. This also has the waterfront trail.

This is a nice park by the lake. It can be busy on weekends and sometimes you have to wait for the parking which is free. There are many benches and other picnic spots. Washrooms are also open. For a long walk by the lake or bring your bike or just sit by the lake for a peaceful outings.

Great place Mississauga has to offer. I use this facility to launch my boat when the weather is warm. I do wish they had separate parking for vehicles with trailers. On busy days, it’s hard to find a spot to park a large vehicle.

Nice place for family picnic, they have a small park adjacent to it and ample parking spot. Also they have volleyball & badminton sand courts There is a small eatery on the dock for nick- nacks Good for someone who loves peace . I would recommend this over port credit because that was pretty crowded on weekend.

Great gem of a waterfront park with miles of walkable paths. Some shallow waterfront and beach area available as well. Tim Hortons near the entrance to the park on Lakefront makes a great rest stop =). If you’re biking and walking though, watch out for missing sidewalks, hidden curves and speeding cars. If you’re on or near the water, watch out for all the unnecessary wake that inexperienced boaters seem to produce around here. The actual promenade can be a bit busy, so early morning and off-hours are more appealing.

Good splash pad. A total of 3 splash pads. The picnic shelter provides ample amount of space with tables/chairs, however the area is bit messy and busy on holidays. The boardwalk is nice and clean. Pets aren't allowed in the shaded areas and even areas surrounding the splash pad, including the picnic shelter, which is a dampener.

Boardwalks, boats, baseball diamonds, small water park for kids, play structure for kids, usually an ice cream truck on nice days. Moderate amount of real and fake grass to sit on. Very limited picnic/regular tables. Bathrooms near water park. Good experiences overall, just don't expect to get a table unless you send someone reeeeeal early in the morning to reserve one cause there's always large families that have that down to an art and have large family BBQs. Bring a picnic sheet/mat to lay on on the grass and you're good.

This lakefront promenade is epic,and there is a playground for kids. There are trails and sitting areas with benches,where you can sit and wallow in the senic view of the lake(and the faraway view of downtown Toronto from the Mississauga side of the lakefront promenade). There is a boat park,where there are parked boats and a walkway bridge for people to amble on and see the place. There are parking spaces for cars,too. There are signs guiding you throughout the lakefront promenade parks telling you what to do and what not to do. One example is that people should walk 8n pairs during evenings and nights as to stand strong against coyotes. The lakefront promenade is long,beautiful,organized,and fabulous. I would recommend families,including children and couples,to visit this place. I am pretty sure you will love it. Peace out.

There’s a great little beach secluded in the area opposite from the Marina, with a shallow water beach bordered by trees for shade when needed. You can launch kayaks, paddle boards, small rafts, and also bring the kids or friends so wade in the clear water. This leads out into Lake Ontario and every now and then smaller yachts and sail boats anchor in to relax. Going earlier is always better. Remember to give this review a thumbs up!

This place is so unique in itself, it's so beautiful despite of what time you choose to go there. It will leave no chance to make you feel wonderful. There is something liveliness in this place. I don't know what it is, maybe the beautiful nature or the water itself or the way bridges and sidewalks been made or maybe the people there or ice cream truck! I am not sure what took my heart away but I am already in love with this place and I am definitively suggesting anyone reading my explanation to go! And be mesmerized. You can go alone or with partner or with family/relatives or with friends or even better with kids!!! This place will make you love it. :)

Fantastic place for kids and adults alike! They have a playground and a waterpad for the kids.. Washrooms were closed when we went but they had a portable one present and the washrooms at the harbor are also available for use.. We had so much fun playing volleyball in their courts.. Lots of open space and tables for picnics.. Lots of parking as well! One of the best parks we’ve been to in Mississauga..

This is an amazing park which offers great entertainment for all ages. Several splash pads and play areas for kids, long fully paved walkways around beaches, boat rides, volley ball courts. Ample parking spaces. However, its quality of water is not fit for swimming, which was a big frustration. And on some of the locations I couldn't find washrooms!

???????? ???? ????????????????????️ It was quite chilly out there today. We hope everyone is making the most of the last days of summer ????, last few weeks to camp out and enjoy your own BBQ ????. The park is beautiful with amazing view of the Great Lake. But be warned, it's super crowded on weekends and holidays, so plan your trip accordingly. We usually have dinner there on weekdays on one of the waterfront benches, and it's an amazing and peaceful experience.

Park is great, people visiting are dense. Single cars blocking trucks with trailers, no parking enforcement and not enough public docking space. Kid splash pad is great but you cannot sit in the shade as all the tables are covers I bird droppings. Overall it has potential but it needs to be better maintained.

Absolutely gorgeous, gets very very sunny during the late afternoon but on the other side of the water there's a great well cared for covered dining area and beach I highly recommend bringing some organic nuts if you're going to feed the ducks... Please don't feed them bread! It's basically like fast food for them! As far as the water it's very still it's well protected from storms and overall a great place to relax, bring your own chairs and spend an afternoon just walking around in the showers or swimming or launching a little boat!

Fire the city planner that designed this place. The cycling path crosses the road 3 times. It's unsafe for cyclists. The boat launch parking has no signs or distinctions between boat/trailer and car parking. I have seen large families bathing in the boat launch. It is a complete mess down there

A special place tucked away nicely but still accessible. Any time of the day this place is special. It's right next to a large yacht club, so during summer and warm fall days, you will find from sail boats to yachts sailing by. On full moon nights, this place with the lighthouse makes for phenomenal views.

Last week during an impending storm this marina would not let us moor temporarily, sending us out of the harbour where the squalls kept upending the boat. While in the rear attempting to pull in the dinghy, a sudden surge flipped me into the brass propeller nearly slicing my head; I nearly drowned, though thankfully being a good swimmer I was finally rescued and hospitalized... but at the cost of losing three fingers.

I’ve launched my watercraft into Lake Ontario many times over the decade from the excellent launch ramp. The lake view from the boardwalk is restricted by the break wall but there are other areas within this park where you might get a glimpse of the USA across the horizon. When I was a member of a local bass fishing club which “adopted this park”, our social contract & responsibility with the City of Mississauga was to perform regular garbage cleanup. I know the grounds of this park quite well! The scenic area is much better since the 4 Sisters (power plant emission towers) disappeared. It’s a great clean place to escape and take in some nature.

This park was built on reclaimed land from lake Ontario. It has a park and splash pad for kids, a boat launch, picnic area, baseball diamond and connects to the waterfront trail. It is well maintained and great for walking, running or getting together with friends. There us an inner pond area which is great for model boats and getting familiar with your kayak (ie protected from the swells of lake Ontario)

Lots of people here in the summer, although the fall and winters are best since almost no one is here. Great waterfront views, lots of small wildlife. Must visit!

Nice park in lakeshore Mississauga. Beautiful view of the lake. On a clear day you can see all the way down to Oakville and Toronto to the left. Its a nice place for a picnic and even has a separate picnic area closer to the water park for the children. Tons of parking; 3 separate parking lots, boat harbour. There's a board walk where many people fish. You can bike, Rollerblade or walk around the different areas of the park and the peninsula which sticks out giving it an island feeling. Even if it's too cold to get out of the car, you still won't be disappointed with the view. On a clear night you can also see the CN Tower and its beautiful lights.

Lakefront park is very nice. It has about 3 different areas where you can have a picnic or just go and relax after a long day. I took wifey there on a Picnic Supper Date. Great place to walk the strip or take the kids to the splash pad, only problem i had was the washrooms at the splash pad, they were disgusting!!!!???? the horrible smell of urine in the washrooms and all over the floor was urine. They need to keep the door open some how to air that washrooms out and disinfectant 100% and have someone on duty come check washrooms for cleaning often during the summer while kids out.

Have been visiting this park since it opened. Limited picnic tables, so it pays to get out there early. Clean, well maintained, washrooms could use a refreshing, and maybe an extra two washrooms for both males and females would entice more visitors. Part of the Lakefront Trail network, very well used both here and to the west right to Port Credit. No open fires allowed, nor is there BBQ facilities except in one area near the car park, which has to be reserved in advance. Great place for a family picnic.

This park is one of the rear gems In Mississauga where you can park your car right on front of the Lake and enjoy your coffee, even in the middle of winter. The waterfront walking trail is very nice too and for the boating guys there is a boat launch too.One of our favorite places to visit.

This was a lovely area to hang out with friends and family. The covered picnic areas require a booking however there are some picnic benches under shade down the pathway. Make sure you get here around 10am, when parking is available. Around 1pm and onwards parking will be almost impossible.

Mississauga has quite a few nicely developed waterfront parks to provide healthy and natural entertainment to adults as well as children. This one is yet another nice park on the waterfront. You can enjoy boardwalk and a short walk on a walking trail and see hundreds of motor boats in the marina. We saw a few people kayaking in the lake while some enjoying in their motor boats. If you like to go in the lake to touch and feel the water or to sweem, you will be disappointed. There is no place from where you have an access to the lake that is right in front of you but at a much lower level. There are some open picnic areas to enjoy in small groups. There is one covered area which is required to be reserved for large group. Plenty of benches, picnic tables, and stones to sit comfortably and enjoy the lake and the variety of people from wherever you like. There are many parking areas on the way to the lake front to park your vehicle free of cost. The one at the end of the road, just in front of the lake, is a huge one. We found many empty spots on a Sunday evening. So, I guess, parking is not a problem here.

This park is so so so so so pretty in the evening! The sunsets, the serene calm, it's just so nice. Especially since it's in the middle of the sprawling GTA. Great view of the lake, with the marina right there. Absolutely amazing place to take photos, and just relax. (Beautiful after a rainstorm too!)

One of the most underrated but cleanest park that you will see on the Lakeshore Dr. It's in close proximity to other amazing places such as Sailing club etc and you will see a lot of visitors taking a stroll or just sitting next to the lake. It does offer benches closer to the paths facing the lake and also has ample parking space. We went here to just sit along the lake and admire the nature. If you're lucky you might also listen to hobbyist guitarist who we enjoyed sitting next to lake. You cannot miss this gem!

I love, love, love this place. Playground for the kids, sandy beach, trail for bikes that feeds into a lovely walking trail, but most importantly it is a GORGEOUS spot to go kayaking out of. The water is swimmable but is fairly heavy on algae and seaweed (and unfortunately garbage now that people are visiting- pick up after yourselves!). It's a good swim for little kids because of how shallow it is - I recommend swim shoes not for a rocky bottom, but because of seaweed and particularly slimy sand out in the middle of the swim area. The beach area is sandy, and has a nearby picnic tables, benches and garbages. There are some trees around the perimeter of the bay that offer shade. For kayaking, the downside is that there is a boat launch on your left as you exit the small bay into Lake Ontario - if you are not very experienced, navigating the wake of the boats to get out into open water can be kind of scary. Otherwise, what a beautiful boating experience. Plenty of wild life in the area - Canadian geese, ducks, red-winged black birds, swans, and even loons like to hang out in this area. There are seagulls like with any beach, which isn't ideal, but my family has never been bothered by them. Finally, as a little bonus, this seems to be a 2021 summer stop for the occasional ice cream truck :)

We have a boat in the public marina and have since 1999. We love it here and it is a great place to come and walk. There is a daytime patio that is licensed so it is great to come and sit or bike through the trail. Wonderful place to your visitors from other areas.

This park is close to Port credit, Mississauga sailing club is located here so a nice place to see boats and yachts sailing nearby, jet ski as well as parasailing. Kayaks are available for rent but is closed presently. The park and the trail is small but good enough for a family picnic. The park is nicely maintained and has accessible washrooms has lot of parking lots, usually crowded during the weekends. It is close to other popular parks such as Jack darling memorial park, Richards’ memorial park, Rattray marsh conservation area.

Great place to hand out with family and friends. Kids will love the splash pad area. But make sure to come early to get a table in the shaded area. Say around 9am. There is a beach area that is a true gem! Low key area to hang out and chill but can get pretty busy. Also boat launch area and picnic area. Defined worth the visit if you've never been. Ample parking, but coordinate which parking lot you will be meeting your family and friends in!

The splash pad is great and I love how the city kept the frog. My parents as well as my husband's parents used to take us here as kids and now we take our three young children. However the play structure is a bit dangerous. The unconventional "slide" without an actual slide part is a broken bone waiting to happen. Other then that it's a fantastic park for families.

Excellent splash pad - variety of different sprinklers. Great trails to walk. Plenty of ducks and swans to feed and look at. Cool permanent umbrellas to give you shade and plenty of seating. I would have given this location a 5 star but the on site bathrooms were the most disgusting washrooms I have ever been in. No point in having bathrooms if they aren't cleaned. I also would have liked to have had a water fountain to refill the water bottles but hey..... we can't have everything. Overall, it was a really great fun day. Tired the kids out. Next time I will bring my bbq. Plenty of people bbq-ing and it smelled delicious. An ice cream truck was just chilling there at the water park so bring some cash if you want your kiddies to indulge

The kids loved the place but it is becoming so crowded to a point that the actual maintenance is not enough, the city should dedicate more effort and resources to this parc. If you are not in the mood to travel 2-3 hours outside the city then this park provides a nice alternative. Plenty of eating places, Tim Horton's & McDonalds are 5 minute drive from this place. There is plenty of parking and if you can reach here before 2pm on summer weekends than you can easily find parking near your sitting area. Right after you enter, there are baseball nets to the right and plenty of parking which can be used, if all else is full. Then move forward and to the left, there is a nice animal themed splash pad & a playground. This area has a large frog structure which kids love to hop on. This section is 'No Animals Allowed' & has its own parking & washrooms. This area also connects you to the boardwalk to the restaurant & the boats. Right opposite to the parking, there are small hills. If you walk up these hills, there are volleyball nets along with actual sand!! If you go further down the road & to the right, there is another parking with yet another splash pad & play area and access to small sandy beach. Go further straight on the park's main road and you will find another parking area to the right and finally further down the main road, you will get to a large parking area for both cars/cars+boat. This area also has the boat ramp and another set of washrooms. It also has lots of grass for setting up picnic tables right besides the view to the water. Also has a small trail which takes you back to boat parking and a small island. So yes, plenty of parking & options at this place if you want to avoid the highway traffic on the weekend.

I had to take pictures of the females Washroom, how disgusting it was, i have never been in a Washroom like that. No toilet paper, the toilets dont flash, and no paper towel or anything to dry your hands. My daughter wanted to use the Washroom and i had to bring her into the bushes because i didn't want her to even touch a door in that disgusting Washroom. I hope this pictures get to the people in charge of that place. They hire 3 people to pick up the garbage but they can't hire people to clean the washrooms. Shame on you

I have been to this park several times and have always enjoyed my visits there. The park has several lots to chose from and most of them are in close vicinity to the water. While this park can get busy in the summer; however such is expected. I prefer this park over the others as it does still tend to be quieter. I would give this park a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Beautiful park. Has different spots for different activities from kids playing area, splash pad, fishing to sailing port / docks. Plenty of parking space there. Try visiting these different spots and parks and you'll enjoy beautiful worth watching views.

There are lots of parks in this area. which allows you to loanch your kayak, boats and kanoe. Nice place to sit with family and enjoy wiht friends in the water front. There are yacht clubs as well.

Great park for taking toddlers or kids. Has a variety of water sprinklers which makes for fun times for kids. Would have given 5 stars if there were more spaces to spread out picnic mats on the ground... Washrooms could also be better cleaned...

It used to be the best place in this area. It's NOTany more. The people now don't seem to know that as a Canadian, what garbage we make needs to be disposed of in garbage bins & if they are full to be taken home & disposed there. This includes barbecue bricks, NOT thrown in the vegetation at the mam made lake/Beach or in the water. It's really sad to see it going downhill. I won't go back.

Good views, nice place to sit and relax with family. Children's play area near the splash pad can be expanded to include activities for infants and toddlers as well, as the play area currently seems suitable for children over the age of 5 years only, this will help parents who have children of both age groups.

This is one of the best parks in Mississauga. The area is well planned with facilities nicely layout. There is waterfront Promenade, patio area where you can have a drink or snack. There is children water pads where children could enjoy water fun. A little distance to the west will lead you to the lakeside beach. A small but cosy beach along greenery on one side is a nice place to enjoy an afternoon. I will give 5-star if the patio could improve on table setting, cleaning and food & drink menus. It is a nice and beautiful spot afront of the docking area will definitely attract more business and people if the seating and table arrangement are improved. There are washroom at the patio for patrons. The fixtures are pretty basic as you could see at parks. There was no water flushing in the urinal that a big smell was really awful especially in summer time. Otherwise, it is such a nicely planned park in Mississauga.

This place has a playground, splashpad, walking/cycling trails, tables/chairs and large umbrellas. There is lots of parking and washrooms. There's a restaurant near the marina and a snack bar not too far away. There are also baseball fields, beach volleyball, etc. Great place to spend the day. Lots of families had tents and bbqs. We didn't explore the entire park or the trails as its huge, but someone did mention the trails connect with other parks along the lake.

Lakefront Promenade Park is my big family of 60 members favorite go to for picnics for so many years & we have a favorite spot. Last Aug. 2 we went there for our family picnic & for the 1st time I was so miserable from 8am till we left at 4pm. We usually stay until 6pm. Though we're all fully vaccinated I had to wear my mask most of the time. I was having allergies because one of the park caretaker decided to cut the grass during that holiday; a picnic day for most families! I do hope next time they schedule the grass cutting on an ordinary day.

A wonderful place for a walk, but bring one extra layer in case the wind is blowing as it often does. The other walkers and joggers are all very friendly. I love that there are nice spots to sit and relax and look out on the lake.

Fresh air especially during daytime hours!! Swans relaxing by the beach. BBQ along the scenery. Great for a brisk walk. Ice cream on the go. Bike lanes on the side, and a gorgeous yacht lot. Be sure to pack some bug spray!!

Clean park, lots of parking, beautiful sights. The parks are well taken care of. There are lots of events happening through out the summer. Only thing that would be nice is if there were dining choices in the park its self. The hotdog guy is great but more would be nice!
