This is a very nice park. It has good walking paths, lots of trees, there's a viewing area and benches by the lake, there's a playground and soccer fields, and a number of exercise stations around the path that circles the lake. The squirrels are used to being fed, so they'll go right up to you if you have nuts.

Nice place to walk/run/rollerblade. They have stations where you can stop and excercise. The sunrise and sunset is nice to look at. Usually, in the morning there are a lot seniors who exercise near the dock. The only negative would be, there is one part of lake aquatain that smell bad and covered with duck poo.

I see they finally cleared out the evil Rastaman and his no good friends from the park. They ran me off like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and i moved to Ottawa. I then returned but had to sneak around. Now i can finally enjoy the amenities in peace again. Thanks Bonnie Crombie!

The playground is nice, but heavy construction by the community center means it's tougher to find parking, and also means a large chunk of the pathway is cut off. Not as secluded a park as others, since many condo complexes back onto the paths, but there are a few exercise equipment locations and it is otherwise quite peaceful. Worth visiting once the construction is done, as I recall being here years ago for fishing and having no complaints.

A very serene park for a Sunday morning stroll, and contemplate the meaning of life. I went by myself and discovered there were plenty of paths, twists and turns to keep you engaged. Fellow walkers were also friendly. There were also ample benches scattered all over the park, under trees, by the water and over some hills.

Lots of people, some friendly, some a bit suspicious, (someone asked me for a cigarette, I'm not even 16). Lots are nice and say hello. Good place to bring kids, it has activities around the lake such as chin up bars. Fishing is ok, has bass, channel catfish, sunfish, bluegill, carp and koi. I'd give it 4 stars if there was less people.

Nice little park, the splash pad is pretty good and has a nice grass area by it where parents can sit, with views of the lake. The park is not very big but it is enjoyable. Watch out if you have toddlers, as there do not seem to be barriers to the lake and from the splash pad it is easy for them to tear off towards it. The parking is hard to find using google maps, navigate instead to Meadowvale Community Centre.

It is an okayish place, more of a neighborhood park with little to no maintenance (May be i went during Covid19), over all it was not bad could have 4 stars if it was maintained well.

Pretty awesome for a man-made park. I didn't appreciate it enough as a kid, there is a great path around it with community exercise machines. Great views all around the path and the edge of the water is naturalised.

This place is a little oasis in the middle of the city. Exercise equipment is sprinkled along the path which makes it extra fun. Only issue is how busy this place can get. The playground is wonderful but always super busy. There should be another playground for the number of kids around this park. More mask-wearing would be great too.

Lots of parking, benches, a few picnic benches and trees with shade for a picnic. Nice bike path and bathroom facilities (did not go in). We spent 1.5hrs at the splash pad that is located behind the Meadowvale Community Centre. We also bought our own camping chairs so we can sit anywhere. We will definitely be back!

Great fun place for the whole family. You can go fishing, play basketball, stroll around the walking path, or play in the splash pad. Be mindful to share the pathway with walkers, skateboarders and cyclists! Bring a friend. Bring 2 or 3 or your whole family.

It was a winter morning we were at the lake. It has a nice walking track around the lake. Water is clean. You have a deck and nice seating area near the water. People do fishing on the deck. Meadowvale community center is right beside it. One can sit and spend time to the serene surrondings. Its beautiful in spring time, lots of flowers and greenery

Lovely park with a trail that looks around the lake. It takes around 20-40 minutes to walk around the park (depending on your walking speed). If you drove here, you can park your car at the community center and walk 4 minutes through the building into the park. lt also has a viewing deck and an area where people come fishing if they wanted.

Wonderful place for all age groups. Early morning aquitaine lake view is mesmerizing. City of Mississauga was planting flowers at the end of winter, but since 2 years have stopped. If can start, it will be addition to Aquitaine Park beauty. Sorry to see lot of plants from Park cut down but nothing new planted.

I walk around this lake a few times a week and always enjoy it. I see people fishing, biking and using the fitness stations. I love watching the kids running through the sprinkler behind the Meadowvale Community Center and Library. There are basketball courts there as well. You'll find a few picnic tables and benches along the way.

A few nights ago I got surrounded by 6 coyotes while walking around the lake with my two dogs at 10pm. They seemed to be sizing my dogs and I up for a few minutes until leaving us alone. Be very careful when walking with small dogs. I have a huge rottweiler and a husky, and the coyotes surrounded us anyway.

Good big round for a walk around the water. There is a kids playground with water fountain spouts plus some gym equipment for a quick workout. People usually use the Community centre parking lot which is big. Sometimes the geese can be a problem.. they get aggressive when u go near.

I visited on a Thursday afternoon in late March and it was pleasant. It wasn't to busy and benches were available. I saw a couple practising Yoga and a few were fishing. It was a pleasant atmosphere. The views from designated areas and quietness of Spring made for an amazing afternoon and the park 100% lived up to the hype. Being late March I wasn't sure what to expect for maintenance but all of the paths were clearly marked and well maintained (no garbage around that may have been buried beneath Snow). I would highly recommend for a nice quite walk.

Amazing experience .... good trail for jogging, walking , skating and cycling... scenic view ... well maintained and good place to enjoy family picnics as well .... parking cost around $2 dollar per hour (sep 2021 rates) but if you park at the community centre parking lot , you can save up on parking fees

Love this tiny Park. It takes about half an hour on leisurely stroll to walk around the lake. There are multiple points along the path for workout routines. They are doing construction for the meadowvale community centre that is locking off part of path right now

Love seeing what ward 9 has to offer. Cute dogs and seeing youth, this lake is very vibrant in the summer. And on weekends it's a perfect spot to play pokemon GO with various gyms and pokestops.

Wonderful place to walk around. There's always wildlife ( squirrels who come up to you, Canadian geese, ducks, swans, seagals, chipmunks, field mice, and others). The lake is situated in the centre with a dock. The new meadowvale community centre connects to the trails. Con- could use a little bit more cleaning and garbage control during the summer months.

This is a nice park, went a few times, but it's always over the top crowded (like cant smell the flowers over b.o. crowds) and its a pond not a lake, trail might be 1km around the pond. It's nice to look at when it's not too crowded, but even if I lived next door, I think I'd go somewhere else to relax. Havent been since covid so I dont know how it is now, but no plans to go since more relaxing areas are available for me.

Lake Aquitaine Park is not a small park, but is a cluster of Parks surrounding the Lake Aquitaine. It is a lush green area with beautiful landscapes and the beauty of the Lake in the Center is remarkable. The water in the lake is clean and the aura is worth enjoying. There are 6 six public Jim’s around the lake free to be used by public. One circle around the lake means you have covered around 1.70 kMs. Free parking for this park is available at Meadowvale Town Centre.

Some parts of the trails are icy. Be careful when walking your dog, especially if they like to pull.. That said, this is a wonderful place to de-stress and enjoy being outdoors. There are numerous tiny places around the lake where you can go to be alone by yourself or with someone special. Just be careful to place trash where they belong (there are numerous trash bins around the lake). It's a great place to walk your dog, meet other dogs, or other people! Great trails to walk at night, too... as long as it hasn't snowed yet. What makes the lake truly a wonder is the fact that it is man-made. It was created to improve the water quality of stormwater drains prior to entering the Credit River. They designed it really well. In one of the pictures I uploaded, you can see where the stormwater drains into the lake. I love the lake at night when not many people are out & about. I love the reflection of the lights on the lake, like a mirror. Very mesmerizing!

Kid friendly park attached to the Meadowvale Community centre. There is a fishing pond that is very popular with adults and kids. Trails for walking, with exercise stations if you are inclined to exert yourself in plain view of pint-sized judges. Recommended if you are regularly in the vicinity. It is a dog walking park so avoid if afraid of animals.

This park has a number of entrances and is busy with regular users on summer day. The community centre entrance parking lot is full and if you are planning to visit the park there are other areas available to park at. It is a nice run around the lake, watch out for geese, kids on bikes and adults who don't walk straight.

Beautiful place. Nice paved paths for walks and bike rides. Big open grass space and nice "storm drainage" lake but it is pretty. Great for picnics and open park games like soccer. There's play structures for kids and a library near by. People fish here... And there is a track with outdoor workout stations that have boards teaching how to use the machines.

This is a very nice park around a man made lake in Meadowvale. There are kilometers of paths to walk run or bike. Playgrounds for the kids and sports fields for the athletes. You can park at a number of parks or side streets but the community centre has free parking and public washrooms.

LOVE this park! The Meadowvale community centre backs onto the lake so there are washrooms available inside if it's open. In the summertime there is a splashpad. The trail around the lake is just under 1.5 KM so a lovely walk. "Park Run" is held there every Saturday morning at 9 am, which is a 5K community run fun run, you can be timed if you register online.

Very quiet place in the city. Try to come from community centre side as it has a big free parking lot. Parking is full during pleasant days. Circular Jogging track is almost a kilometer longer. Fishing deck can accommodate at least 5 persons with social distancing. Washrooms are closed due to Covid-19.

Great for running, walking, walking your dog, riding your bike, having a picnic, take your kids to the nearby park and waterpark. Library and community centre is right off the trail, lots of parking there. There is a stretch class (looks like some form of Taichi, of sorts) run by someone in the mornings, maybe around 8 or 9 close to the community centre. 5 exercise stations located along the trail but due to Covid, hardly touched now and could be taped off to avoid future use.

I prayed there at a special spot as a child and later proposed to my now-wife there too. The place is full of memories and it is a great joy for me to visit there whenever I can to pray and spend time with my bride. Absolutely wonderful!

Here for the Parkrun held at 09:00 each Saturday (arrive a few minutes early for the chat and up to date info!). Lovely park and all the other park users seem to be having a good time too: exercise machines in use, Tai chi classes on the go, walkers, doggy walkers, kids playing and all sorts of fun being had.

A wonderful park for walks, bike rides and for enjoying a sunny day. They have a splash pad, basketball court and an exercise circuit. The community centre is right beside the lake so there is plenty of parking. 10/10 love spending the day here with my boyfriend.

lake Aquitaine Park seems like a big space but its incredibly busy with all thats going right now. Depending where you want to enter the park, parking could be an issue, parking at meadowvale centre is ample, but its a busy park so we had to park quite far. there are lots of city run programs run in this park so again, its a very busy place. the lake is pretty much surrounded by vegetation so there does not seem to be any easy access to it. lots of guys fishing on the pier (which seems to be the only good access to view the lake). nice trails with lots of people. perhaps its different earlier or late in the day.

Great little park in the city. One lap around the lake is just over a kilometre. The new community center has a great patio that over looks the lake. Has a splash pad. One of the only man made lakes that sustains an ecosystem of fish, frogs and turtles. Good little exercise stations all around the lake. In the winter there are several good little tobagan hills that are just the right size so you don't tire out walking up.

Nice park, but definitely neglected by city. Number of garbage bins not emptied in time. Garbage laying around. Lots of broken brunches never cleaned up. The public washroom is a welcome site if you need to use it, especially now during the covid time, yet it probably did not see proper cleaning in a very long time. It stinks there so badly you can't even describe it without having your eyes water. Nature and the park.is beautiful, lots of species of birds. Which have young ones now are great to observe.

I grew up in this area. It gets better and better every year. Aquitaine has the perfect lake (its more of a pond) to run laps around. Around the lake there are bodyweight powered workout machines to use! Making it one of the best places to leisurely walk or exercise nearby!

Love this place. Great for pretty much anything you want to do and for any group size and all ages. I go for runs here, used to play basketball, rollerblade, play soccer, workout or just go for walks to relax. The animals are super comfortable around humans so that pretty cool if you have kids. Splash pad, fishing, large field and more all here. Wish they had soccer nets.

An amazing picnic spot to make the best of summers. Has a plethora of activities for both adults as well as for children. This place that appears small from the outside is actually like the layers of an onion, keeps opening up more options as you step inwards. Has a lake to start with, great seating arrangement to enjoy your tiffin with family, has a park, tracks for jogging. And the cherry on the cake is it's open and free gym!

Fun park to walk around or ride bikes! The workout stations make the park fun and unique! They have chess press machines, leg press, pull up bars, ellipticals, and a couple others. Each station is about a 5 minute walk from each other so you can make a fun workout with your friends while walking through the whole park.

Just sit by the lake and watch kids catching fish or just walk to a secluded spot and see the water lily's sway in the water. Kid love the gym's so if you like quiet just walk away to a secluded part or just lie down on the grass. I highly recommend a visit to this park.

Park with nice walk and new community center. New swimming pool with lane swimming and therapeutic pool. One large gym with lots of equipment. Walk around the lake is nice with rest stops that has exercise equipment to stretch legs, arms and body. The lake path is also good for bicycling with many parks interconnected.

I live in one of the high rises surrounding Lake Aquitaine and I love it. You meet great people and their dogs. The walk around the 1.5km Lake is enjoyable. If you are into some catch and release fishing there is a newly renovated small boardwalk to use. The new community centre has plenty to offer and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Basket ball, splash pad and of course fishing ! The community centre was open and there were people taking advantage of their classes. Back to fishing - sunfish, small and large mouth bass, carp, koi, catfish, and ducks and geese along with snapping turtles - great place to fish and spend a few hours. Catch and release is the way to go so can keep coming back. Close to home, convient location and will keep coming back

The park is pretty nice. It has wide paths making it suitable for both walking and cycling. The Aquitaine lake is a game changer: a body of water is a great asset in general. It plays an important role in the ecosystem of the park. The lake attracts many fishing fans. Along the path surrounding the lake the City has placed simple fitness machines allowing the casual passer-by to do an ad-hoc workout. The park is connected through a trail system to other parks, ravines and wildlife corridors to in the area, especially towards South and West.

Beautiful park. There’s a little playground, a nice walking trail and exercise machine pavilions throughout. There are a few picnic tables available as well. Shaded spots fill up fast, of course. Hours of fun. Limited parking space on street. Located in a residential area so most people just walk there.

The place is very beautiful. The park itself surrounding the lake was clean considering there are a lot of people at the time of visit. Went their to fish for an hour, I was on the wooden dock right behind the community center. The water was weedy and there was some trash seen at the bottom of the lake. The group beside me caught a few tiny smallmouths, around 3 to 4 inches in size. Will definitely go back to fish again

Good place to walk around and chat with someone or a good jog around the lake. Exercise equipment is layed out around the lake with a small water park for little kids to enjoy. Right beside the lake is the community center with a open basketball court for anyone to use.

This place is kind of a hidden Mississauga gem (if you're not from this neighbourhood). There's a small dock with benches and another sort of 'lookout point' with extra seating. Perfect for a lazy afternoon stroll or impromptu picnic. The path also makes for a fantastic jogging route, as it little checkpoints with outdoor exercise equipment. Bonus: The community centre beside it is has been renovated and has great amenities as well. Note - the playground is on the opposite side of the lake.

Great park for a bike ride, rollerblading, or a walk. There is an accessible path around the man-made lake that is smoothly paved and has exercise stations around it. Splash pad, library, little bridge, some basketball courts and a playground can be found around it. Always popular but not too crowded when I go there.

You can access the park from the Meadowvale Community Centre. We parked there and walked to the boardwalk where you can fish. No bites with the artifical bait thought. Be sure to walk with your live bait.

It's charm is enhanced with an assortment of fixed fitness equipment scattered along the trails so its a good place for anyone looking for a stroll, jog, bike ride and more. Because its surrounded by residences all around its very safe too.

A spacious large park, with a good km+ pavement trail loop that moves around the man made lake that you can casual fish off a pier on [please respect fishing levels and catch and release]. There is a lot of small nature creatures and many variety of shrubs and trees. It's extremely hard to hear any traffic, and there aren't too many large buildings to distract you from nature. People are polite and respectful [please keep that up], and there is a large playground. As a huge bonus, a library-community centre is attached to a small part of the trail, that has a basketball court and mini splash pad. Illicit activities are at a minimum. The only thing missing is a community garden imo.

Usually for walking, biking, relaxing, and even having a picnic with a friend by the water. I've also tried the outdoor Tai Chi class here and tried the cool workout machines along the trail.

Large man made lake with a massive paved trail going around it which branches off to other areas. Pretty much north-south between Derry and Britannia. Great for jogging or biking. Good place, small hike. Google maps directions will take you to a residential place. Instead go to the 6655 Glen Erin drive, use the Meadowvale community center parking lot to access the trail. Has a small fishing dock, but not much fishes.
