REVIEWS OF Erindale Park IN Mississauga

Abhishek Sharma

Good place to spend a day with friends and family. There are no sidewalks so one needs to be careful during rainy day.

Suwarna Oli

Park itself is amazing however many people who come here are absolutely not good people. I have seen so many people throw garbage in the bushes, and people park cars on the driveways. There needs to be strict patrolling in terms of car parking, littering, and people need to be fined hard so that they don’t do it again

Okbah Abdulkarim

Amazing . Very excellent place for fishing and many other activities Family can spend a wonderful time there. Parking is available Very nice river Everything is good about this park It is a piece of natural art Will visit it again and again despite the long drive to each there but it is worth it

Nadeem Qazi

It's a nice park but less parking space in busy summer days. Please increase more parking space.

Jojo Santa Ana

Adnan Amin

Pretty fun park. Had a huge family BBQ. Lots of places to stroll around, walk your dog and other amenities. Parking could be a problem during weekends but other than that, its great! ????????

David Erwin

If you looking for a peaceful calming walk alone a river's edge then this is the right walk for you. Packed level path, good for walkers or wheelchairs but you have to deal with inclines when entering and exiting the trail and may need assistance. Easily get in your 10,000 steps. Go to the right of the bridge and onto the path. Lots of picnic benches and areas to spread out in the park but not so much along the river walk.

Syed Muhammad Mubashir

One of the best trails in Mississauga, breathtakingly beautiful and scenic. Perfect for pets, walks or bike rides.

Lee-Anne Dunk

Went to see what’s left of the salmon run, which looks to be over now— local fisherman said Tuna run is to follow, so I’m going to search that up before going again. On the bright side, the leaves are starting to turn orange, red, and yellow; the fall leaves are beautiful to look at this time of the year. ♥️

fkxStudios

It is a good place for picnics and a riverside long walk, friendly and safe and you can ride a bike through the shared lanes, one can easily walk for two to three hours with full joy, or ride a bike in a group for an hour or two with a light fresh breath of air

Rabby S

Jojo

Great place for walking, biking, and picnicking. The trails go into the woods and run beside the Credit River.

daveanand mannie

Great park lots of spots to hang around and the washrooms are very clean!

Satish Kumar Polisetty

Amazing and peaceful place to spend time. There is a dedicated picnic spot to spend time with your family and friends. My choice in this park is to sit near the flowing river. Some People come here for ????‍♀️ cycling and some for flying kites. There are barbecue spots but the issues is they are not clean. My advice to the visitors is don’t place the used coffee cups on the barbecue stands and please protect nature from pollution.

Devin Wiles

Great walking paths for the whole family. The fall colours are amazing and it's a great place to sit back and watch the birds.

Jonny Atkins

For over 20 years I walked these trails and I still love it. Very nice park for hiking and getting closer to nature with super nice trails that make you feel like in the middle of nature. You can see few deer during the Spring or early summer.

Anjalikrishna Lekshmanan

A very peaceful and beautiful place for get-togethers and exercise.

Catherine Mithun

Beautiful place. Had a lovely evening with friends and family.. Nice place to have a family picnic and fun time together

Nick Tang

Great for walks and exploring.

Yusuf Taherali

Huge park which is well maintained and kept quite clean. Couple of fishing spots. Biking and hiking trails which are quite long. The park is extremely busy in summer. Sometimes very hard to find parking. Go early to get good picnic spots. Good park for large groups as ample of open space. Bring your own gazebo / shade.

Nayab Qureshi

What a busy park. The trails are beautiful and long. Love the bridge walk.

ROLLY Cain

Fishing or cardeo walk and reading a good book or just a peace of mind from the beautiful Sean .

Sander van Duijn

Beautiful to spend a day with friends &family, go for a hike or bike on one off the trails

Jaspal Singh

Visited the place on good sunny day with family. It is nice park along the riverside and has long beautiful trek. Enjoy the walk on the riverside and can enjoy picnic in the huge park. There is plenty of parking places but can be busy on weekend. Lots of activities for kids. Toilet was not very clean but we noticed that cleaning staff were doing their best.. so people need to play their role.

Shobiga J

Been going to this park since I was a child. I think it's a great place for people of all ages. Also a very nice to bring your dog. When I was younger my family went here to have picnics and barbecues, and now that I'm older me and my friends drive over to go for nice little hikes. Very pleasant and highly recommend if you like walks and nature.

Stuart Bowland

Very nice walk. Pretty when the snow and frozen river. I was also very pleased to see dogs on a Leash unlike leash free Toronto where ebay dog is off leash. I will go back here again.

Ahmed Shehab

This park is really huge and has a great view on the river. New washrooms have been built which have made the park more family oriented. The park has a trail all along the river and has three picnic areas. There are many barbecue grills for the public and two playing grounds for the kids. During the summer there are always an ice cream truck and hotdog car. During winter there are two places where people go sledging. Great fun for every member of the family.

Ryan F

Very nice park for walking..UTM nature trail

Hi Banana

It's good to go there and wander along the river/creek. Barbecuing is permitted, and there is a large red receptacle where hot charcoal can be discarded. There is a salmon run every now and then, and you might catch a salmon when fishing. In the fall, the park takes on a more attractive appearance.

Rajaneesh Kartha

Good place to be with your family. (if you have one) ????. Ample parking.

Konrad Wojcik

As someone who grew up in this area, going to Erindale Park was common. Great place to cycle, walk, picnic, and fish. Best time to visit is weekdays, or early morning / late evenings on the weekend. Weekends get packed here and would only recommend leisure walks or cycles if you don't mind swerving around people

Clem Mahabir

Nice park to walk along the Credit river!

Meghana Reddy

Good for a peaceful evening walk. Enjoyed walking, climbing up and down the hill, finally reaching a lakeshore. Beautiful greenery. Just 6-8 minutes drive from square one.

Sridhar Kapila

It's a good size park. Next to the credit river. There is a trial next to the water, it's nice walk beside the water. The water is clean. Lots of ducks around the water. People do fishing as well in the river. The park has lots of places for barbecues, kids play area. Lots of benches for family picnics. There is also a picnic area which is shaded. The benches are great for family picnics. Lots of ground for playing area for games. Kids can have lots of fun. There is enough place for parking cars. And its below the road and beside the UTM campus.

Badr

Good park for barbecue

Afnan Al-Soultani

Beautiful trail runs alongside the river. Scenery, nature, wildlife, all in one place

Muhammad Oneeb

Its a beautiful place, parking is limited though so make sure to reach before 12 noon if you are going on the weekends.plenty of space and grills for bbq.

Robert Wisniewski (k.y.s_aleks)

Erindale park is my favourite local mountain biking trails as it’s 10 minutes outside my house, and is a great amount of fun. The trails range from difficulty, but the best ones are near the park entrance, that are extremely difficult. The park trail runs along side the credit river and looks amazing. The trails are a great way to exercise, as the traverse the park takes a good hour, so you’ll be entertained

Hisham Qaddoumi

A very great place to relaxing the beauty of the Canadian nature. Whether you wanna go and have some "me" time or go with friends and family, this park is perfect for a very relaxing day.

Kawsar Mirdha

Gorgeous park in the city. Very refreshing.

Justin Pollonais

Beautiful place. Great for an evening run. Keep an eye out for snakes though.

Binu J

A great place to visit. Go early to reserve your spot.

Abhishek Rao

Most of the trees are infested with caterpillars .. but the place is beautiful anytime for a outing with family and friends

Brian S

Love to run by the river here. Last time I went I shared the path and a deer! The route I take is almost 5k one way, one end to the other and there are some wide open spaces people like to use for barbecue as well as a playground.

Sheryar

Erindale Park is an absolute gem in Mississauga. The culham trail is amazing and definitely something people in (or visiting) Mississauga should complete. At over 12km long its also the longest trail in the city!!! Those visiting or living in Mississauga must visit this place once

Faraz Khan

Explore the Largest park of Mississauga during this Fall season. Some breathtaking views, refreshing walks and some Fine Fall colours.

jayanth siripereddy

Its a bit long trial, if you are a photographer you will enjoy the trail

A T

Love this park.. has lot of space and diff trails.. has flowing river, boulders/ benches to relax on a sunny day, small slopes for toboganing .. lots of parking. hopefully visitors will keep the park clean.. now that it is getting busier every yr.

Natasha Marie Niering

Great field to let your dog run. Not many places around that actually let you do this without having hundreds of other dogs around

Ryan C

Massive public park located in the heart of Mississauga just off Dundas Street West. The park has plenty of grassy areas to have a picnic or throw a ball around, as well as playgrounds for children. The Credit River cuts through the park itself, and there are a number of different trail options for biking, walking, hiking, and running. You'll find plenty of fishing spots as well. There are bookable gazebo/barbecue/picnic areas, and there are washrooms located by the main parking area. Parking is free, but the lot typically fills up rather quickly, especially on weekends.

Andreja Kovač

Huge park, great for picnics, playing sports, having a barbecue or just hanging out with friends. The park can get crowded on the weekends, I have actually seen police a few time to come down and disperse the crowds during Covid. Nevertheless, there is plenty of space, just tight for parking on particularly busy on long weekends such as Labour Day and such. Make sure you clean up after you're done, bring a garbage bag, remove trash and wipe clean any surfaces you're using. I am sure we all hate to come to the park and sit at a dirty table with garbage on the grass.

James Li

Nice trails right by the Credit River. Didn't know Mississauga had places like this.

Jenny Lenis

Beautiful and big park. Just the parking is hard to find and sometimes too many people specially when is nice weather.

Anubin Saji

Such a beautiful and calm place. Perfect for a picnic, walking your dog or reading your favourite book amidst nature.

Joanna Krisza

This is such a great spot for a picnic. Its a big park. Quite a bit of parking available.

Aram Santiago

A beautiful place to spend the day with family or friends. And don't forget your bike

Parag Keskar

It’s not about the park. Park and the walk is great. Problem is extremely limited parking. Looks like municipality and local area ward councillor haven’t noticed parking issues. Avoid going there weekends or summer holidays. People are crazy, ready to fight for a parking space. Go to Halton parks, pay $5, amazing trails and don’t need to fight over a parking spot!

Abdullah Sami

If you want to get some mental peace after a hard week at work this place is highly recommended! Best place to relax.

Pooja Prem Kumar

Beautiful large park located in Mississauga along the CreditView river and UTM campus. There are multiple picnic areas, large open spaces and a paved trail for walking and biking. We saw quite a few fishers so guessing it’s a good spot for that. There is a beautiful bridge that looks over the water. We did see a coyote when we were out at dusk, so beware. Otherwise a beautiful park.

Umair Hafeez

Beautiful place to spend a day with family and friends. It has lots of space for picnics and BBQ. The kids' play area is also very nice. The river adds more to its beauty. Highly recommended!

Jonathan Li

Great local park for barbecues and dates. Lots of green space with a river that's filled with fish during migration seasons.

Vivek Sharma

It's a awesome place to visit with family. Best place for picnics. Need to reach little early on weekends as finding place for parking can be trouble.

Ashish G.

Highlights: - Free Parking - Super nice location, landscapes, creek, & trail - Hot dog cart at the trail start point - Public Washroom available - Spots for Fishing, Picnic & Camping - Great for a walk, run & cycling This is one of my fav trail walks in Mississauga. You will be amazed when you first go here for a walk next to the creek, with lush green surroundings, large parks, big dense trees, cool breeze, picnic & camping spots for families, public washrooms and much more. This trail has everything to offer for all age groups & families & children. Warning: You got to stay away from the harmful plants, & keep your children away too. It can cause burns & may need hospitalization in serious cases. Preferred timing is early morning, you will easily find a parking spot too. The more you delay, it will get crowded. Washrooms are only available at the trail start point near parking & so better take a leak here else you got a long wait ;) Highly Recommended. Enjoy!

Ash Sing

Good trail, looks beautiful during fall

Michelle Wojtis

Perfect place to fly a kite, fish or trail run/bike.

Flora Tran

Clean, beautiful, itt has a spring and a fall, easy to access, the bus stops just in front of the park on Dundas street

abhishek gupta

Second best spot within 10 minutes drive from City center, Mississauga. There's plenty of quaint spots along the creek to relax and enjoy the weather. Salmon run is a sight in itself!

Denis Kharlamov

It would be hard to find a Mississauga resident who hasn't been to this park. And that's because it's a great park - enormous fields with plenty of trees! Ample space for picnics, BBQs, games, parties, biking, fishing, hiking, literally anything! It's a great place! It may not be able to rival conservation areas when it comes to nature hiked, but if you want to get away from the city, while still being in the city... This is the place! Lots of parking spaces, but never enough for the amount of people that come there, especially on weekends! The parking was 70% full on Tuesday at 2pm... You can only imagine what holidays are like.. But a great park and I recommend everyone to visit it at least once to explore!

Zaib Abbas

We go here often. Great for parties, they have charcoal, benches, covered areas, river is beautiful and safe, fishing camping swimming parties geocaching photos everything

Fred

Nice park, a lot of picnic tables and areas. Good hiking trails.

Kyle

Beautiful place to visit. I wish I went here more often when I lived close by. It's a large trail and has great fishing especially in September.

Gurmeet Singh

Very nice place for picnics and BBQ. Nice river down the walkway. I enjoy it everytime

Prashant Bombe

Its one of my favorite park in Mississauga. The Park area is vast and lot of place to sit. Although during summer weekends it is impossible to get car parking if you go late in the evening that much crowded it is. We went on weekday and could freely park anywhere. We walked on trails and also took photos near the small river that flows in middle of the park. Water is so much clean. It was a refreshing visit.

Ed M

Clean, good paths. Can't go wrong with this park! Recommended

Shaistah B

Beautiful park with lots of trails. Has a beautiful bridge with a nice view above the river. Seen many people also fishing in the river. There is also a trail that leads to University of Toronto Missisauga Campus that’s just a 10 minute walk from the parking lot. Beautiful views in the fall, i’m sure it’s beautiful during other times of the year as well. Not a busy place, quite empty.

Wassim Melek

Amazing park fit all ages. Spacious, beautiful view on water flowing, so many places to stay in large groups.

john layson jr

Very nice place to visit! Bike, walk, run, fish, play, meet up and get a good daylight.

# Paviranjanmusic

Beautiful park if you like trails as well as open space. Parking is the only issue there

Natalie K.

Super nice park, with loads of space, a river close by, and lots of wooded area, trees everywhere with generous shade offerings, little forest all around cleaning the air and softening any noise. Also, very large and clean washroom facilities with hot water available, and fresh drinking water dispenser. Parking is available and usually ease to find, unless park is extremely busy, altho it us a huge park, so it never seems too busy to me. BBQ grills are available, but not too many. Bike/ walk trail is amazing, with lots of different routes to explore. Children playground is available, but seems not open yet. Great choice to relax alone or with family or friends.

M Da Costa

Great park in the middle of the city.

Grace Robertson

Even though the scenery is generally brown this time of year, it is a refreshing walk along the river. Wear boots as some parts if the path are muddy with small pools of water. You can walk all the way to Burnhamrhorpe Road/Riverwood Conservancy.

Fayyaz Siddiqui

Beautiful park but too many visitors not social distancing

S Z

I love this place so much! A real gem in Mississauga. Definitely worth the visit if you love nature. These pics are from Fall 2020. Enjoy!

Afshan Syed Jawad

It's a nice place for a family get together lots of place for picnic

Fernando L

The park is great for large picnics and outdoor birthday parties, etc. A great place to go on casual bike rides up to about the 403. HOWEVER. I made the error of going there during COVID and just looped around the parking and left. Not only is it packed, but the people there (groups easily 30+) obviously do not care about any safety protocols. I essentially watched tax dollars evaporate in real time to pay for some avoidable healthcare treatment.

pooja arora grover

Clean park, ample parking. Our spot was lovely, here Picnic with friends was fun and then we attended a birthday party here . Always nice going here because we find parking easily and the drive is beautiful .

Farooq Lodi

A very good place for individuals, couples and families. This park can be recommended to anyone.

Andrew JK

Big park with a river. nice place to go out with family and friends or have a picnic. the river is nice to sit by . located in a safe neighbourhood with lot's of space for games. very fresh and peaceful area

Shahveer Patel

Amazing place for biking walking and having fun with friends and family ... Ample parking and the Bathrooms are now open

Al Sayed

Beautiful park.. ideal for a photo shoot

Colin Lobo

Plenty of parking. Very spacious, lots of shade. Fairly clean bathrooms with lots of stalls. has playground for kids and long trails for hiking and cycling!

Ali Ghauri

One of the biggest and most amazing parks. Hidden within the Mississauga that starts from Mississauga and Dundas and actually goes all the way to the Square One area. Great overall place for families and sweet dates.

Tayo Lekan-Agbaje (FADDTAYO)

Lovely place to spend time with family for picnics. Such a large and busy park

William Brewitt (Brew Productions)

A beautiful and massive park with lots to offer. There's the credit river which is excellent for fishing, Many walking and biking trails for people to use. There is also wide open spaces to pay sports with the kids or have fun with the pets. Furthermore there is many picnic areas which are good for family reunions or just a day out with family. You'll find it hard to believe your still in the city.

Karthik Anna

Very good park with multiple long easy trial with river on the side. Best place to go with little ones and with pet animals. I see people do fishing, BBQ etc. Fun place for people watching as well.

Tricky Moreira

Grandeur. If you’re looking to take in nature, stroll along the river, have a BBQ, picnic party, take some photos, go for a bike ride on the path, or through walking or biking trails this is the place for you! It’s beautiful. You can walk for kilometres and the rivers seems to never stop. Definitely worth checking out. This has become one of my regular visits. Give this review a thumbs up!

Safid Musabbir

The park is really big and has many picnic areas with a large field. The park also has a very nice trail. (There are washrooms near the parking lot)

Michinari Hashimoto

In summer, many people come here for picnics lunches, and running. The long trail is recommended for running and walking. In the fall, salmon come up the river, and if you have a license, you can also enjoy fishing.

Meena Azer

Wonderful place to take kids or family. Plenty of space with a play area, BBQ areas and picnic areas. Great for nice long walks or sledding. Only thing is that the parking area is almost always full and the secondary parking area gets closed a lot.

Lindsey M. Holderness

Nice park, reasonably accessible. Gets busy fast. Try to go early in the morning to avoid heavy foot traffic.

Exploring Destinations

The park is so huge and has ample of space to play many sports/activities. One can easily spend almost half day here with fun. The walking trails are very nice next to the river and also the walk over bridge gives good view. There are few spots where covered sitting space is available along with BBQ grills. The only tricky part is to find parking spot. Its bit difficult to locate one if visiting during afternoon hrs or later. Morning time is good enough. Highly Recommend place for casual hangout!!!

Fiona Harrower

A lovely space for a quiet walk along the river. Lots of people fishing, walking and biking, but space for everyone.

Sandrine et sa smala

One of my preferred park in Mississauga so far. You can forget the city hustle (I even met a deer !), have a nice walk, enjoy BBQ and even fish. There's also a playground area.

Jen Sanchez

The trails are fairly easy, well maintained, and mostly accessible. There are some good side trails to take that aren't too hard either if you're looking to get more into the brush whether hiking or mountain biking.

자소왈아짓로즈

Went on long weekend(family day) so many people were there. We enjoyed a lot there. Good place for barbecue. Water, trees, green grass, fresh air nice place must visit it.

mazhar ahmed

God. Well maintained, needs more hairs/ bench and hard umbrellas be erected

Aarti G

Happy to live few kms away. I try and visit it couple of times a week.

Pervez Khanzada

1) Parking issues is a big concern. 2) Reserved places are flaunted by some - i.e. a small family can reserve a spot, but many tables around this reserved spot go un-utilised, thereby depriving other visitors a place to sit, especially during peak times (weekends/holidays). Correction is needed.

Vee Hope S

It was so wonderful to get out and enjoy the beauty of this park. Everyone practicing social distance and being respectful of one another. My favourite time of year to visit and take in the stunning colours and fresh air. Always an adventure!

Sarah Hassan

This park is amazing. Found a table easily last weekend for a bbq. It's clean and huge

Yunji 'April' Kwak

I enjoyed walking along the river. Though there is many people riding bicycles, this trail course is very good to walk with dog. And it is nice park for family and bbq party.

Mélissa Berry

Beautiful park, to avoid in winter months, it was under ice the entire way. I will go back in spring or summer!

Geeta Kalra

It is so peaceful to be near nature...untouched...big trees...river flowing..it was a bit cold though

Mimi

We loveeeee this park !!! You can do anything you want !!! Sit quietly near the river and read a book or go with your family for a bbq And my favourite thing to do is the long walks It’s very clean and very beautiful park We go there as much as we can

Elena Rotestan

I love this park, although it gets pretty busy for parking on the weekends, during the weekdays is nice and quiet. There is a lot of green space and walking paths. My favorite is the one path along the water.

aiman kandil

Nice park, lots of parking space... you can BBQ there. Love the seen from the Bridge

This is a wonderful place to visit during fall. Fall colors are amazing in this area. It also has large parking spot, picnic spot, playground for children. I loved it.

Bilal Kamran

Great park right in middle of the city. Great track for hiking. Best part is there are benches and tables in certain areas and you can enjoy a family cookout.

Nilanjan Adhikari

Visited in March 24th for 1 hour jogging. Good place for doing many activities like fishing, jogging, playing kites many more. It has stream running through the park, many seating arrangements. Could not cover the entire park, definitely going to visit again.

Mi Rama

Amazing place I love going here . My family does all are BBQ here and picnic here

Latchman Sahadeo

Awesome hiking, biking, and fishing. Parking fills up fast on the weekends, however it's pretty calm during the week.

bita parto

Cute park! Nice river !

Chyann Garrick

Erindale Park is my go to getaway. I love sitting by the rocks watching the water. It's not too far from home only about 15mins. They have great trails by the water and through the trees and even a playground for kids. Sometimes I even go just to kick a soccer ball around or throw a football. The atmosphere is very peaceful and clean.

siddhartha sharma

Great place for recreational activities with family and friends.

Karlynn Chan

Spacious park and it's super serene ????!

Michael Laski

There is a river where fishing can occur, the park has a good portion of forest with hills, trails, and a large flat area for sporting or picnics. It also has two Bridges for walking and a small gazebo with picnic tables inside. The river also has multiple splits inside the forest. Deer are very present, as are Birds, and you may see the occasional beaver.

Marcus E. Veytia

My first visit to this park was in 1989. It is connected with a lot of great memories for me. It's a highly visited park these days -- people on the trails even at dusk on a rainy day. Still, it has not lost its charm or dulled my experience there despite the heavy foot traffic. I love this place.

Prabu Rangasamy

Very big park with many picnic tables, kids play area, trail, car parking, space for fishing and kids to swim. Usually this park is crowded but because of the size of the park you will easily get your own space. Getting a car parking spot is very difficult. One option is to park the car at ‘University of Toronto’ car parking (paid parking) area and walk to the park on a short trail. The trail between the university of Toronto and the park is very beautiful. Only problem in this park is to get a car parking. Other than that it is a great park.

Muhammad Ashfaq

One of the largest parks in Mississauga so it has a lot of different activities. There is a lot of picnic space as well as trails and fields. There is a bridge that goes over the Credit River.

sarah radi

This park was really nice and we really enjoyed it as a big group. However, the parking is awful. It took everyone a good 45 mins to find parking. I don't understand why this giant park has such little parking ????????

Nicole Henry

The park is lovely, spacious—accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Great for walkers, joggers and runners. I love that I can travel from Erindale park to Riverwood park.

natasha hillocks

Huge open space with river flowing in the midst.I see such great potential for developing a family friendly space with activities etc but largely under utilized. There are side paths that lead nowhere and lots of debris..everywhere. One icecream truck was on site..a few more options wouldve been great. Tables and BBQ spots were not tidy but that's expected when dealing with humans.Biking path is popular and fishing seems to be a preferred activity.I would return for a picnic or stroll.

Abdullah - عبدالله

Great place for picnic and taking sunbathing. You should come here prepared with food and water because there is no shops. The only problem is they only have one bathrooms area.

karen liu

Very big park, lots of paths for walking and even to have a picnic.

Andy

Beautiful view (tree ???? and watercourse)and nice people☺️

Phillippe Lessard

4 stars only because of how popular it is, it gets full fast. Outside of that, i love this place. It is well maintained, looks lovely. I go with my wife when ever we can.

ketan jain

I had spent my whole weekend here. Playing with friends and having a picnic. Wow such a relaxing location to do everything. Enjoy food, Play in running creek, do hiking, go with trail and enjoy running. Such a beautiful view to capture pictures from the bridge itself. Very clean washrooms. Even water availability is 100%. Very greeny and big grounds to roll and play. ???? Just bring your own picnic mat and camps. Even you can bring your own barbeque to enjoy. Have Fun. ????????

Chris Black

The layout is fantastic. Plenty of wide open grassy spaces, seating and tables, a nice amount of varied trees and vegetation, lots of excellent walking trails and a good amount of wildlife.

Jatin Mehta

Really scenic park. Went there over the fall. I don't why it's pretty empty. It's not deserted but compared to other parks, it's pretty quite (could be a good thing depending on the person you are). Pretty good place to enjoy a picnic, but there isn't anything for kids to do (like there isn't a playground anywhere near). But I enjoy my time filming and geocaching there a LOT!!

Mariam Miri

Wonderful park, great for bbq and hiking. Very crowded though during weekends and parking is hard to get.

Lina Di Giulio

Great park. Beautiful trails for bikes and walking. You walk along the credit river. Such beautiful scenery.

Kavita Ram

Great trails. Nice park for a bike ride. The river is not very deep. The water is very clear and was very warm.

Adude Amissah

Nice Park. Rivers for fishing or swimming if you want. Enough BBQ available & shaded areas as well. Overall pleasant experience

Jehad Affoneh

Beautiful views. Multiple different trails to walk through. Tons of space to grill, sit down and enjoy the views, or hangout with friends and family. You can reserve the covered areas for large parties or special events. Tons of parking available around the area. Small hot dog and ice cream stands in the parking lot are also available.

Francisco Peralta

Park is great. Lots of parking spots. Picnic tables to enjoy a meal. You can bring your own bbq, or can use one of the few that are there (bring yours... there are not that many). You even have a bin to out the coal after done using it. Great space to fly kites and do sports of some kind. The bad? Despite having lots of trash and recycling bins I saw a lot of garbage all around the grass. I'll be going back again and again. And put my garbage where it belongs.

Andrew Smart

this place has really good fishing, as well as huge parks with in ground BBQ grill, and playscape for children. also has ice cream trucks and hot dog stands (halal) as well, during nice weather. a lovely place overall. there are good washrooms as well.

Victor

Very nice and fresh environment. Lots of space to have a picnic and some fishing action as well.

Greg Reid

Lovely huge park area just off credit river. Many people seem to only stay need parking lot but lots of space further in with tables and open spaces to play. Path along the river runs for kms north and is great for waking and cycling.

Simer preet Singh

Nice quite place in middle of city.

M D

Beautiful fall colors and great park to walk.

Mohammad Alsaadi

We have been there where kids have fun by playground and enjoy the incredible fall views especially along the river!

B Josephine

This is a really nice park but I just feel like maybe we visited on the wrong day. It was a long weekend and the weather was unusually beautiful for the time of year . It was packed solid . I don’t even think we would have enjoyed ourselves due to so many people being everywhere. There were tons of cars driving in circles in search for parking and not 1 single space available . After 25 mins we gave up and chose a different place to visit .

Trevor Rodrigues

This is a nice park with lots of shaded areas to have picnics. I wish there were more picnic tables. Other than that, it has nice grounds to play games, and enjoy the day.

Abdul Aziz

Love the pathway along the river. Big open spaces for picnics and sports. Good luck finding parking on weekends.

Dwayne Antoine

Nice for biking. There are lots of side trails if your looking for something more challenging.

honduran 79

Really nice place but fills up fast. Everyone and their dad was fishing here.

Jess

Great trails for biking or walking

O. Moftah (Wesa)

The park is nice, lots of space and open areas but the parking was my nightmare on the weekend. Looks like it is hotspot for gathering ( pandemic?). Need peaceful and same time : Huron park 5 min drive from this madness or come on weekdays.

Maris Freeman

Very large park with washroom facilities, clean and supplied with toilet paper. ( very important ). A short walk to the river where you can walk along the river, with benches placed along the path to rest. Great location for a picnic or just to relax.

Kanchan Tripathi

Beautiful park.. lots of trails and benches. Even if it's crowded you can social distance because the park is really big but get there early to get parking

Stephanie Konu Photography

One of the few parks in Mississauga with well kept public bathrooms. Well lit, and no garbage. This park has easy access off of Dundas Street, near Mississauga Road. The park is located within the valley; providing access to streams where you can see Salmon Fish swimming. The best part of this park is the beautiful iron bridge that crosses over the stream.

yunis mohammad

Very nice park for family gathering and BBQ, there is also a nice trail along the river.

Kia Gulati

The park is great to have a picnic with the fam/friends. Endless space in the field to relax but literally very less parking spots. Had to wait at least 20 mins for parking ????

Letícia Marcorin

It's a really nice park. If you go during the fall take the trail that starts from UTM. Won't disappoint

Shan Weerasinghe

Lots of parking. Trails open area river runs through backs on to UTM University of Toronto Mississauga Campus and Early time 1st Anglican Church in Erindale

Master iOqY

Expansive park tucked away in old Mississauga adjacent to UofT Erindale. The Entrance is barely noticeable on Dundas. Ample free parking. Newer washrooms facilities by the parking lot. Lots of shaded areas to setup a picnic and or utilize the picnic tables available. Even the green areas around the parking lot lends itself to a comfortable picnic. Lots of walking trails, some over creeks. Lots of space to run, play catch, throw a football, kick a soccer ball around, etc.

That Fishing kid

Lots of garbage but a pretty decent place to steelhead fish

Munîr Xelîl

It's a wonderful and very large park, but its parking is too small doesn't fits many cars!

Samuel “Cheeze” Suyanto

Nice park with a long trail parallel to the Credit River. Amazing place to walk.

Edi Bus

The park goes along the Credit River and has long trails one can follow from Dundas St to Burnhamthorpe. People are fishing in the river, sitting on the grass and walking. Numerous outdoor activities are taking place there.

prajwol chalise

Nice place to hangout. Saw a lot of families barbeque there. Beautiful trail.

John Nestor

Very nice urban park with lots of nice trails along the Credit River. Busy on summer weekends so be sure to get there early.

Eric

Lived in Mississauga all my life, and just made it here recently, what a great spot! Huge open park area, with charcoal grills (looks like you reserve them via a permit) and great walking paths. We will be back again!

Vindika Lokunarangodage

Great park with so many areas and people . River happened to be the best thing in the middle of the park and it is very beautiful through out any season without coincidence to the season

T Brown

Wish there was more to see around here but I was able to stay socially distanced, see nice fall foliage and enjoy the beauty of the lake with some coffee.

Aswinikumar Annadatha Venkata

A great place to unwind with lots of wonderful trails and clean facilities. The brook is an amazing spot to enjoy the flowing water and is an ever relaxing walk path. Great place and totally worth the time spent.

Yehia Elmongy

This is a great park, but always busy and parking lot is full.

Lester Leonida

If you're a fan of salmon and trout, this is one of the one of the places to be. They have their own breeding site

yaramarie palacios

Had an amazing time with the family here! Kids absolutely loved it! Love how clean the park is and how green it is! I also love the fact that it has grills to use and where to dispose of hot charcoal. Definitely worth coming here again!

Pheona Mae

Walking trails, fishing, bbq, green space, river, streams, clean, safe, family friendly, and lots of parking. Erindale park is located next to the university of toronto Mississauga campus. The park is filled with amazing scenery. Parking fill up quickly so come early. Perfect place to have a family picnic or BBQ. Lots of picnic benches throughout park. Park is very well maintained. Perfect place for a hike/workout.

Katerina Simonova

Love this park! We spend a lot of fun times with the kids there. Lots of great memories. We are moving but we'll be back for sure!

Mark G

Such a fantastic park, with a beautiful stream to walk along... downside is the parking can get full .

Ahmed Bassam

I love this park really. It has fishing spot as well

Sebastian M. (Saby)

Right now it's full of people, hard to find a parking spot, there are people leaving the park with often, only through a leaving person out of the parking spot you will be able to aquire one. But once you have one, the park is beautiful with the snowing the walkway and on the trees, it's pretty scenery! One thing you have to watch for - slippery walkway, slippery inclines and downhills. If you are going with an older family member please do, be careful, specially while inclining a hill or walking down it, there are inclines that lead to short bridges on the main route, so be careful, it's useful to ware boots with good tracktiones.

Family Fun

Just loved the place,, very big area for Parking, Picnic, Play, BBQ, kids Playground, biking, jogging, lots more,, just be creative

travelhholic dr

Spacious and peaceful place for picnic and family gatherings. Credit river is the best part of this park. Lots of picnic benches and grounds to arrange any picnic, you can enjoy bbq there too. It’s also an awesome fishing point too.

Anjum Karimi

A clean and well preserved place. Not crowded on a Thursday late afternoon. Ample space to relax under shade, near the river or in the vast green areas. Long and well maintained walking trail.

Kal Sukkar

This park has a lot of parking, a decent kids play area and lots of seating. Spacious with an interesting walking trail by a nice lake. You can easily spend the day here with or without a family. It’s usually crowded on the days with good weather. Not my first choice, but a good option

Doug Clark

Truly one of Mississauga's hidden gems!

Peta-Gay Miller Marshall

Went for the first time to take the kids tobogganing. They had a good time. The hill wasn't very steep so they could go down on their own. There was lots of parking. Only issue is the posts and benches that obstructed the tobogganing path. Some kids bump into one of the posts a few times.

Weeda Wahdat

I love this park, it is very close to my home. It is very beautiful in all 4 seasons. I love the leaves colors in this park. Every year I go for walk on the leaves with my husband. Trees River, Jungol, love all of them????????????????????????????????????????????????

Shehan Liyanage

A great park to go for a bike ride ????, jog, stroll or even a picnic. One of the biggest/longest parks I've explored in Mississauga. Plenty of parking & there are hotdog ???? & ice-cream ???? vendors

Jeffrey H

Parking is a nightmare on weekends but only because this place is so awesome. I live in an apartment and this is my little escape spot. I am here more then once a week for a Picnic, BBQ, fishing, jogging, biking, yoga, etc.

Abdulrahman Sultan

Great park for picnic, walk or fishing.

Seeta Krishna

Clean and beautiful. Lots to see and admire. Wonderful for family gatherings or to just go on hikes.

Sam Salman

One of Mississaugas best parks with the Credit river running thru it you got some nice long bridges over viewing the river. Large grass areas for playing sports or BBQing.

Dale Kristina Valiukas

Good place to have a get together! Rent a section of the park for special occasions. The only downfall is that the park closes at 9:00pm and we were celebrating my deceased 26 year old daughter's birthday and it wasn't even dark enough for the floating candles and the fireworks!

Esra Hamza

The park is pretty spacious. Has a beautiful trial, a few bridges, a river/creek. There’s a park for the kids and a lot of green field for sports. There are also picnic areas and bbq areas. However not much mature trees for shade in the hot sun.

sakielohim

It's fun for everyone. Clean park, well maintained. Just make sure you clean up after yourself to keep it clean and decent for everyone to enjoy. A peaceful family environment. Blessings to all who come here.

QS JAWS

Beautiful park and lots of room for activities.

Shorty Goofy

Came here to see the salmon migration but unfortunately we found dead salmon. We probably came late in the migration but we didn’t see anything. We didn’t do anything else in this park so I can’t comment on it. The washrooms were clean! Parking lots get packed on weekend

Zainab Fida

A variety of views and spots for walks, picnics, family gatherings, bbq, outdoor parties and photo opportunities. Fishing can be done too. It's a definite all in one! Great for summers and just beautiful in the Fall! Walking along the river, over bridges, up and down the trail are all a wonderful experience at the park! A must visit ! Explore and enjoy!

Sonny's World

A great park with a beautiful river streaming along the trail. The park also includes some mini isles in the river, a cliff trail and a climbable forested hill. There is also great places for a picnic, a giant hill for the kids to roll down and great animals.

Habib.

Huge park with nice trails. You can walk by the river, have a picnic, do a photoshoot or just hang out. I visit this park frequently and it never disappoints. BBQ and picnic tables are available in some areas. Also you can fish in the river.

Taylor Khan

The pathway you used to be able to drive on is closed. Do not bring elderly or those who have difficulty with mobility.

Realtors At Work

Erindale Park is a a fantastic place for all seasons. The park has plenty of space to picnic with bbqs provided, you can also bring your own. Summer is great for fishing, trails, kite flying, lounging around or bird ???? watching. There's Plenty of parking (2lots). They have bbq food vendor (hot dogs, sausages) and usually the ice cream truck is there during the summer months. Public bathrooms available.(seasonal) You can rent the covered seating area just across the bridge for events, birthdays etc. Plenty of community events, fund raisers etc. Its a good idea to come early during weekends as it gets really busy parking can be an issue. Overall a very safe park with plenty to see and do. Please dont litter! ????

Ikramullah Khan

It's a good park for outdoor activities and a stream of water also passes through it.

Karolina K

Beautiful, clean and wide area to walk around. Always full of friendly people. The path by the river goes on till Eglinton Ave if not further. Summer time (BBQ) portable allowed on the property.

Arun Sarin

Nice place to visit in spring, summer and autumn. Free parking.

NEEL PATEL

Such a nice experience. Area is vastly spread and can get place anywhere as there are so many benches put at specific place under shade of trees. Trail experience was wonderful along with Credit View River. Bathroom was clean and had hot water too, with drinking water dispenser beside. Ice cream truck serves really nice soft serve. BBQ friendly. Parking is becoming an issue.

Marjorie Perez

Nice little park where you can bbq and spend time with friends and family

Paloma S

Beautiful trails to walk and ride bikes. Very lively park to have picnics and enjoy the outdoors. Although there is always a crowd, it is very spacious and you will always find a place to relax.

Junaid Ahmad

Walking at this park is beautiful. Trees displaying the colors of season, walking on the trail by the river, and fresh cool breeze makes the experience enjoyable. Trail is nice and well maintained. Plenty of grassy fields for the kids to play and run around. There's also a play area for kids with swings and slides. Lots of people do BBQs and picnics here... something I look forward to doing here one day because we mainly go here for a walk only. I've also seen many people fishing here. Car parking is free which is a bonus.

Feerass Ellid

Gorgeous park and a great place to see our community

Maureen James

Beautiful park. Lots of parking, trails were great

Jenn

Erindale Park is a beautiful park, I've gone many times with friends to have a pot luck picnic there, there's lots of nice trails to walk on and the park is very spacious. I would highly recommend going to this park, there's also a lot of room to play frisbee or catch and there's also a Sausage stand and ice cream truck there's there every summer if you'd like to get lunch/snack or a desert and washrooms there too. It's a great park to go for picnics and bbq's with friends and family.

Sadaf A

Big park with lots of covered areas ( have to book it ) we had a family party there and it was perfect. Lots of green fields for activities and clean bathrooms

Celina Rulona

I am not sure whether this park opens all season. But visited this park on Winter, Spring and Summer. I have to commend the City of Mississauga for a well maintained Park. The washroom was always clean on the number of times I was there. This is a great place to come during the pandemic to do your walking and hiking even when there is snow on the ground. There is a lot of Parking space available except during the summertime so I hope the City adds more if possible. This serves the people in the City a great favor when travel restrictions are in effect.

Shahid Gilani

Beautiful place, ideal for a family picnic, fishing, walking and relaxing, would always come back, ample space even on crowded days...

Bonnie Sandison

This is a lovely green park. Lots of eating areas some covered some in open. Bbq are supplied by many tables. Large clean washrooms. Lots of parking. Grounds kept very nicely.

YJ Kwon

It's awesome !!! I loved the big play space , valley, trail .... a lot of trees !!! Wonderful !

AA Reviews

Vast open areas to walk or bike, easy going during covid as people are respecting social distancing. Saw people fishing as well with a safe distance! Lots of benches & distanced out. Beautiful & calm getaway.

Aravindan Balasubramanian

Park is big, lush and had free parking. But, someone needs to petition to update park/city bylaws to 21st century. Alcohol with food should be allowed in the park. Me and my friends having a civilised meal only to be told by cops, that alcohol is not permitted in the park and we gave an excuse that we were from Quebec where it is allowed. I was shocked to know this and was grateful to have been many parks in Quebec to enjoy a meal and have a drink (responsibly) with friends especially COVID times.

Muhammad Hassan

It's a wonderful place for picnic along Credit River. Large areas for group of people to have a fun. Trails for those who like to have a walk. Some people were fishing on the side of the river. I would like to visit this place again.

Amy

The park has lots of free parking, however it is difficult to find a picnic bench if you don’t go earlier in the day and reserve a table. There are beautiful hiking trails for a light jog or run. Great nature everywhere!

Sabrina Islam

Nice place. Less vibrant fall colors than previous years but good for roaming with kids

Tara Phillips

This is a fantastic park nestled along side the Credit River. It's a great place for all ages, and mobile abilities. There are paved walking trails, and trail off the beaten path for those that prefer a bit of a challenge. Pack a picnic, bbq, plan a walk, just make a plan to get out there, you'll always find something to entice your senses. Binoculars recommended, as there's a large diversity of birds just waiting to be discovered....

Samina Aqeel

One of the best parks in Mississauga, lots of parking and picnic tables for picnics.

Akram Nassar

I would really love this place if the parking situation was just a little better.

Ohhhhhh My God.... Such a charming place (this is in 2020) P.S: If the City cares, we couldn't find a parking space the last couple times we've been their and we just left and for sure never come back again this Summer (2021) !!!!

Beautiful trail! Nice river we were able to walk in, so clear! Lots of open space, also lots of tree cover.. so best of both. He path is wide enough for people to walk and people to ride a bike and not worry about crashing eachother. It's a long trail if you want it to be. There are washrooms- super convenient. Also beautiful butterflies, turtles and we saw also a blue herring.. so its great for animal loving adults and kids. (We also saw deer close by another time). Many MANY picnic tables at various party of the park. And also has a sandy playground.

Iskie Isketerol

This is a hidden gem in Mississauga that week give you a great hike. It's interesting to watch the seasons change. The wildlife changes with the seasons as well so you can hear toads in the summer and see fish running in the river in the fall. Weekends tend to very busy. Weekdays are less busy particularly earlier in the day.

Sriram Subramanian

A nice place to spend a day with family and friends . Trails , play activities, biking, Bbqing, fishing, etc.

Gail Trotman

LARGE AND EASY TO SOCIAL DISTANCE. The Credit River is nice with ducks, geese swimming around. It would be a great place for a Rib Fest or other such event because of the space. I was delighted that people were able to social distance and were wearing masks. There were a few benches and picnic tables as I am trying to walk some distance after surgery.

Moon C.

Love the park. So close to where I live. Clean washrooms. Spacious parking lots. Picnic tables all over. Huge grass field to play. BUT there are too many people thinking the same as I do. Always crowded unless it is early weekdays.

Lily Trinh

Serene and beautiful park. Nice place to have a picnic, explore or just relax and read.

Beautiful with lot of open space good amt of parking nice play area. The stream is nice and shallow. Very nice place for a picnic with the kids. The kids play area is big and good for them. Heard there are good trails and from what I saw they look good. If u have cycles definitely get them. U might want some bug spray as well.

David Eli

Excellent park for the southern end of the city. Big sell for me is the running water...what's more calming than running water, I ask you. Lots of wide open spaces for activities and BBQing. Parking is an issue, not very much of it.

Rakhee Makhija

Beautiful picnic place fr families! Nice place to spend the quality time with outdoor sports that you can carry from your own , barbeque and nature walk around a trail on the creek. Washrooms need to be maintained.

John M

Huge park with something for all ages. Very busy but spread out and never had an issue with parking. You need to wait a bit to turn left out onto Dundas though, and even then you take your life into your own hands with traffic going both ways either driving at the speed limit or considerably faster.

Mary Trenty

Beautiful neighborhood park.lots of parking spaces, a good playground structure for kids from 2 years old plus. Also a sand pit during summer. Great park for all seasons

dave c

Great park, went for a bike ride. Good for a walk. Most roads are rough for bikes. Lots of rocks and gravel, but God for walking.

Chan Tie

Culham trail will always be one of my favorites as it goes all the way to streetsville. So much to see along the way and it's just beautiful. My favorite time is fall all the colors are just beautiful highly recommend this place for a walk with your family or by yourself so many different activities that you can do here.

Jessica J

Nice walking path and trails. Many access points to the river. Lots of open field, and picnic benches to be enjoyed. Clean public bathroom!

Chetan Kuppa

This is a good place to get your walking, jogging or cycling exercise at present.Social distancing is possible because of the ample space.Just stay on the walking/cycling trail.Steer clear of the grassy park and seating area where people are presently socialising and having small picnics. It's an ideal recipe for disaster. As long as you stick to your immediate family and don't stray off too much, you should be good.Needless to say, please go with your masks on because the picnic crowd doesn't have it on.

VISHNU PERSAUD

Great place for hiking, running, or just enjoying sometime in the great outdoors. Lots of wildlife and places for bird watching.

Chilbert Dong

Beautiful park in the heart of Mississauga. Great place to escape the city and enjoy nature. Saw a beaver today!

Adam King

This is a great open space park that all families can come have a BBQ, play games or fly a kite. There is lots of free parking. There is also walking paths that follow the Credit River and through the woods.

Sonal M

This will forever be one of my favorite parks to come to. Ive been coming here for the last 10 years. Only issue, there is never enough parking. Its overly crowded in the summer but great place to hang out near the water, have a picnic or go for a hike.

Hassan Afifi

I just love this park. You can do absolutely anything: walking, jogging, running, family picnics, nice scenery and even ice cream.

Charles Hutchinson

This is a huge park right in the middle of Mississauga. It is great for hiking or bicycling. Lots of room for family picnics, kite flying or just a stop for ice cream in the middle of summer. Lots of people fish in the Credit River. A great way to spend the afternoon.

Tarek Charif

Great big park for the family & kids. Playgrounds, river, sitting area & BBQ grills just bring your charcoal. Don't forget the utensils :-)

Brian L

Loved this park! Definitely a gem within Mississauga! We came here around 11:30am and the park was not too crowded with many families setting up the area to bbq. We wanted to go for a hike and discovered a trail beside U of T which was quite but unkept. Would definitely come here again and our little one (in the picture) loved it!

Connie Calligaro

I love to go here for a great relaxing walk .

calm, peaceful, clean I have a very relaxing time.

Jennifer Chan

Large green space with lots of picnic tables, BBQ grills, and playground. There are washroom facilities by the parking lot. Walking/biking trails with a bridge connecting over the water to U of T Mississauga. Grass area is uneven so watch out for giant puddles after rain.

Vivian Vu

Wonderful place, calm and serene on most mornings.

Mohiuddin Qadri

Huge park, So much space, multiple BBQ spots are available.

Abdul Alrammahy

Great place for hangout and family gathering. Beautiful combination of landscape and the river but have some suggestions to improve the overall atmosphere and people's satisfaction. 1) Old broken benches should be replaced with new clean one. 2) Adding architectural feature at the entrance of the park. 3) The park needs a colorful ornamentation like growing ???? flowers ???? (Rose garden) for example

Rolo Roko

Clean, green park and grass well kept. Plenty of picnic tables and can BBQ here as well. Easy hiking here, view is ok. Dirty credit river kind of ruins the view, over the years it has gotten really murky and disgusting from city/factory run off

Ebaad Khan

Perfect place for a nice long walk with family and friends while enjoying the water view. You can also barbeque at various spots available at the park. It's very peaceful and refreshing environment there. Not to mention the park is huge :)

Good park for hiking or walking. During the right season you can also see the salmon run. However the down side is that you can also smell the salmon run

Didn't get to explore park, but does have a very large open feild. Loved it and would go again

Great for picnics. There's plenty of space to create your own social bubble. Great for recreational fishing on Credit River. Enjoy nature. Birds, ducks, and on one occasion we even saw a deer. Lots of trees too. There's a trail along the river for walking, jogging, and cycling. Washrooms are available close to the parking area.

Excellent park for a long hike!

Dritan Muco

Very nice park with playground, a creek, wide picnic area and a lot of nature. Parking and washroom free to use during the summer. Busy during warm days and weekends

Matt Bonder

Love biking on this trail which runs along the credit river and is a decent distance

Very lovely park. Lots of Arabs most of the time. The music was too loud once, but it's usually calm, even though lots of kids play around... There's an ice cream truck most of the time, and walking by the river is so relaxing. Lots of barbecuing during the summer too!
