We toured the East Coast Provinces this fall and stopped at Sunrise on our way back to Ontario. Availability of sites are better in the fall after the children are back in school . We prefer not to pre book as it forces us to be there on a specific day and we want the flexibility to travel without this extra stress. The staff were very accommodating and courteous offering us a prime site with a view of the water. We have already recommended the campground to our travel friends.

(Translated) Small campsite on the water's edge. We stopped in the fall. Several seasonal workers. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The other campers are also very friendly. I had a mechanical problem the morning before leaving and another camper found the solution. When the neighbors realized I had a problem, three of them came to my aid. In season, it is difficult to have land, but in autumn it is easier. There is no shop on the premises but we are close to services in the village. (Original) Petit camping sur le bord de l'eau. Nous sommes arrêté à l'automne. Plusieurs saisonniers. Le personnel est accueillant et très serviable. Les autres campeurs sont aussi très amicaux. J'ai eu un problème mécanique le matain avant de quitter et c'est un autre campeur qui a trouvé la solution. Quand les voisin ont réalisé que j'avais un problème, trois d'entre eux sont venu à mon aide. En saison, il est difficile d'avoir un terrain mais en automne c'est plus facile. Il n'y a pas de boutique sur les lieux mais on est près des services dans le village.

It was ok... playground is for 3 years old.. i have 3 daughters from 9 to 13... happy that the swimming pool was open. Ok for late one night stay.

There is no grocery store but you are 15 minutes from downtown. (Original) Petit camping avec piscine. Et si avez besoin de service il y a et un petit terrain de jeux pour les enfants. Une toilette de disponible sur le site à l'entrée. Il n'y a pas d'épicerie mais vous êtes à 15 min de centre ville.

Very helpful and understanding owners, we had to run back and forth to the hospital (15 minute drive) would definitly recommend this campground, great facilities and the river was nice to swim in, well ok i didn't swim but walked in and it was not chilly. Will likely return here for a weekend get away.

This is a campground that has it's little "Click" of campers are where there is one little brat that gets his dad going and looses it at other campers! This has been going for years. Hits other kids and campground owners just disregards this matter. I don't recommend this camping site for people who loves camping and i wouldn't even recommend it for people who are looking for weekend or overnight camping!!!!

Bathrooms are clean but could be updated. It's mostly a campground with trailers, very few tents. Trailers are fairly close together, but that's probably the case on most camp grounds. There's a small park, a swimming pool and games room.

Hey, leaving a review to let others know my personal experience. I spent one night here with my suburban truck. I slept in my truck with my spouse. And our 12 week old puppy We had lot # 26w We set up a tarp overhead attached to trees. It was very cozy and quite, lots of privacy in our "backyard" with the way we parked and tarped the tarp. We had awesome neighbors! Who stay over summer and they are extremely friendly! Thank you to them for allowing us to experience that vibe! We appreciate it. This is a dog friendly camp ground. Bathrooms were very clean and ventilated with fans which was ultimately nice because there was a fresher breeze for the down time lol. Showers... I didn't use. I brought my own shower bag. Our lot had a hookup for power 30amp. And a water source tap with a extension hose. It was awesome. Overall my wild camping experience was very fulfilled. Walk to the water isn't far. Its very pleasant and many campers were friendly and welcoming Apparently there's new owners: they are very nice and accommodating. Good communication.

Nice view right on the water . Campground was clean . Owners very friendly and welcoming. Many seasonal campers but they were welcoming when we showed up they had space for us. We stayed one night on our way thru the area. Bathrooms rustic but very clean. Pay showers $1 per 5 mins so bring some loonies. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

We booked a site to break up the drive, back to NS, from the Gaspe. We'd book again. Lovely spot. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We followed them to our site and they made sure we were parked perfectly re: all the hook ups. Had a nice chat. Quiet, family friendly, well maintained campground. If we ever have a road trip like that again, we will be back. Would recommend.

Very beautiful time at this campground as usual, the seasonal tenants can be difficult to be around but overall the experience for myself and my kids was great. we travel here every year, just for the warm salt water pool and the view of the miramichi river. Must see. If youre camping, make sure to take a spot in the woods ;) It is just beautiful in there and the sun is very strong in the field. New management is very friendly and accomodating
