Beaubears island provides a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else, and it has something for everyone. You can hike the many trails on the island and hop on a canoe with guides or get a guided tour and learn about the rich history of the island and surrounding areas. It's a must visit if you're into history or any type of physical activity!

Beautiful, old growth pine forest on quiet 2km long island. Abundance of birds, well signed trails, picnic area, outhouses. Fascinating history. Relaxing, magical place. Great interpretation centre and management staff. Access by ferry, or your own boat, canoe, or kayak. Day use only. No fires or camping permitted.

You don't actually go to the island. This is a site where you can see the island in the distance and learn about it's history. Very interesting information!
