2 children parks that I saw. Restaurant on site. Walking/cycling paths. Parking for vehicles. Beach to swim in however the geese have large areas of the sand occupied. Seems relatively well maintained.

A beautiful lakeside park which is narrow and long with picnic, beach, and playground areas, a public washroom, a restaurant and ice cream spot, and lots of parking. Well maintained and landscaped. This park is on an inland lake (as opposed to Georgian Bay).

Cute little park that has a little of everything for such a small town of Midland. I went there for the frolf course and noticed they had a skatepark, play sets for kids, nice beaches, plenty of bathrooms and colorful flower gardens all around. Was surprised when I walked around how nice it was.

Little Lake Park is open for socially responsible recreation. There were a number of families enjoying a sunny day on the sand and splashing in the water. It was nice to get outside and enjoy a hint of normalcy to start of the summer. Everyone politely kept their space. The park was clean and maintained. Of note, playground equipment has been disabled or blocked off and washrooms are also closed.

Clean well maintained park, good for picnics, three sets of publics washrooms spread through out the park. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables conveniently located under trees providing relaxing areas to sit, rest and take in the sights and sounds of the lake. The lake is pretty shallow as a result the water is warm and not cold like the water in the five great lakes. Ideal for young kids to splish- splash while being safe. Good selection of swings to play on. Onsite canteen/ snack bar. Free parking but it might be hard to find a spot during the peak summer months.

This is a great little public park in the middle of beautiful Midland! I have been going here with my family since I was a little kid! I am going back now, 45 years later with my grandchildren. They have awesome playground areas and a wonderful fast food restaurant with real ice cream right there! Great family fun amongst huge, mature trees with beautiful scenery of Little Lake! Recommended!

Very nice place to walk around and have some lunch in the heart of Midland. The views by the lake are nice as well. Only downside is that there aren't many things to see and do and parking is limited.

After a day of being stuck in a car and then walking around a marsh, this was a great swimming stop and just what I needed.

My real iasue (docking a star) is the not yncommon instance where an owner is walking an unleashed dog despite clear signs and regulations. If this is a concern for you than attend knowing this is the case. That aside, this is a nice little park. Walking paths, skateboard area, and a fenced area for unleashed dogs. The "beach" isn't too appealing as ground is hard, beach sand is a small section, and at times a lot of feces from fowl. Though it is fine for wading and swimming. It is used often enough.

A wonderful spot to play or relax. Beautiful, spacious area. Well groomed. Lots for everyone. A beachfront. Parking. Tennis. Playground. Baseball diamond with bleachers. Lots of benches scattered throughout. Lots of big ol' trees for shade from the hot summer sun. But spaced out so there's sunny spots too! A beautiful pavilion with such beautuful flowers. A canteen. You will enjoy your stay.

I've always loved this park, lots of place to park and have a picnic. As far as swimming I wouldn't bother it's a shallow lake and the in the heat of the summer it normally gets shut down due to algae, caterpillars were crazy this year as well but that's everywhere , definitely a nice place to just relax with the kids there is two play parks and even a restaurant that makes amazing burgers and fries and other Summer style foods

It's a beautiful park with lots to do! It could actually use a map telling incoming traffic where things are, because if you're new to the area or visiting, some things are hard to find.

Little lake park is nestled in the middle of Midland Ontario. The park is beautifully maintained on a little lake with a sandyish beach. The park is home to one of my favourite disc golf courses. 27 holes that are all challenging in their own way. I highly recommend this park for a walk with the dog or any other kind of fun in the sun.

Great park to visit in Midland. Has a small beach and playground. Also there is a big covered picnic area which is good for big gatherings or reunions. It also has a skate park. Finally if your hungry ,there is a take out restaurant which offers hamburgers, fries and hot dogs.

Used to be a great place for family fun and picnic... it's now full of people walking dogs and minimal poop and scoop... we got there at 9:00am had brunch tried to enjoy and left at 12:00 noon couldn't stand to stay there amymore... water was red flagged... of course with all the dog feces...

In the spring the trees are in bloom, beautiful pink blooms as you drive or walk. It is a fairly big park, with a skateboard park, ball diamond, walking trail, dog park and more. Tony's restaurant if your feeling hungry and of course the beautiful lake. In the winter people snowshoe and skate on the lake at their own risk. Lots of things happen here like fairs and festivals along with small gatherings to play friezbee golf, jogging, yoga etc. I love walking in this park!

A small strip of city beachfront property is found at Little Lake Park. There’s a playground area for small children too! The grounds are kept nice except that the garbage bins are brimming full so people are leaving their trash on the ground.

Dry nice lake view park, a huge park and lake. Best place for walk, hike, picnic and gathering too. Lots of parking available and picnic tables. Kids play area also there. Lake is silent and calm. Rest area was open after COVID but swimming in the lake was not allowed due to Covid. Place is full of birds and few flower beds. On the whole nice park and lake.

The Best park in Midland, Gets VERY busy in the summer. What it has: -Beaches with very warm water -Playground equipment -Multiple public washrooms -Skate park -Frisbee Golf -Fenced in dog park -Restaurant with good food -Walking/biking trails -Lots of picnic tables and covered pavilions -Beach volleyball courts (No nets for some reason) -Tennis courts -Community garden -Rowing Club -Huronia Museum -Huron Ouendat Village -Events area and probably more to which I can't think of at the moment Just don't plan on being in the park after dark because the mosquito's own the night

One of my favourite parks in Midland. I usually come here for the day, usually for a picnic with family, and it never gets old. A great playing area for kids and a good trail for the runners and bikers. It is also very clean and the scene is pretty amazing. Overall it was a great trip and I encourage everyone to check this park out.

Was very impressed with this place. Although the play area was closed the beach was open and had lots of people but not too many. Everyone seemed to respect the social distancing rule. It was nice not to have to travel far to visit the beach since its right in the city of Midland.

Midlands Crown Jewel, slightly hidden off the beaten path, a great place for a nice walk or a family picnic, it even has a skate board park off the Yonge st entrance and a family Rec centre off the King St. Entrance. It's a tranquil setting with a small lake, bring your dog for a walk, but keep it leashed please as per by law.

Little Lake Park is High Park (North). It is an urban park setting in a rural town of 17,000. Built almost a 100 years ago, it has mature trees and landscape. Since the turn of the millennium they have let many of the side areas revert to natural grasses and vegetation. The park has washrooms, a public garden, beach (with volleyball) and summer-season restaurant with appropriate and tasty summer fare. A variety of summer events plus a local Sunday evening concert series also makes LLP a nice place to be in summer. Private lawn bowling exists at the southern edge.

One of my favorite parks in Midland. Though the beach is small and last year it wasn't open for swimming, the view is so beautiful and peaceful. Nice parket for the kids, great place to walk your dog or a picnic. Very friendly park too, people are so nice in that park!

The town of midland needs to do something about all the geese in Little Lake Park, because they are pooping everywhere on the beach and in the water and the water stinks and not to mention all the bacteria and parasites left behind in the poop.

The park is very muddy, rocky and the ridiculous placing of fire hydrants have caused injuries to a few dogs including mine. I pretty much have to use the C.B.O park in Balm Beach because of these inherent dangers.

tons of free parking. 2 outdoor playgrounds, one even has a wheelchair swing where the entire wheelchair can be loaded onto the platform and "swung". shallow water around edges . usually small waves and the water is slightly warmer than the bay... a great place for kids. there are beach volleyball courts, frisbee cages for throwing discs, a skatepark, a baseball diamond..... lots to do ! there is also a small restauraunt that sells lunch, dinner amd icecream. the food is nothing special but still would get the fries again. there are also public restrooms available. take your canoe or kayak for a paddle or fish ! we catch bass and sunfish here

Wonderful community park next to Little Lake. Lots of Canada Geese which were occupying the beach area. Wonderful picnic shelter... that could do with 2-3 more picnic tables.

Not at all handicapped friendly. Too many steps to the beach. All the steps were well spaced as you drive along but only one access without steps and was too steep up and down to push wheel chair. Beach was nice. Far end had a play structure. Washrooms were available. Also had a paved trail in front of beach but was up and down and rough. Would be great if you did not have to push a wheeled chair.

Great place for the family there's a small Beach many playgrounds this is also where they hold their Canada Day celebrations. Fun times had by the kids

Great little spot hidden in the trees. You can swim, eat at the restaurant (very affordable) listen to live music and just relax. It's a man-made lake tho, so be prepared for a squishy, plant based bottom when you get out a bit deeper. Been coming here for years!

Love going here in the summer with my child. There is a playground on each end. However, the park needs a revamp though...it has been like this for years. A splash pad, and some more play equipment is what it needs!
