The park has well groomed grass. The Seven Persons creek flows through it, lending the park a scenic appearance. Even though Kin Coulee Psrk is in the middle of the City, it's still a beautiful park to have a gathering or a picnic, or just go for ao for a walk .

It is a fun place to bring your kids for an afternoon picnic or hang out with them at them park. You can walk up to the tepee from Kin Coulee, but the under highway tunnel is sometimes a little flooded.

Critical Identity

Now that so many people are participating in the "Medicine Hat Rocks" we have been visiting this park much more often. It's a great activity hunting for the painted rocks and re-hiding them!! This is definitely our favourite park in town!!

Do it right Or don’t do it

Very disappointed. Stopped for a picnic and let the kids out of the car for a play on our long trip. Playground was geared for 1-4 year olds and no picnic table to be seen.

Lovely park space. Lots of different areas to go. From the Band Shell, to the beach volleyball pits, to the baseball diamond, there is lots to see. There are lots of open green spaces and even a creek. There are Kinsmen Club kitchens that can be rented for special occasions and picnic tables near these areas. There is ample parking available and is a nice park for walking around.

Great place for off leash with dogs. It has lots for them to explore and their humans get to walk on beautiful well maintained paths and take in the awesome park. One thing is the burs on the dogs after running through the field - they are everywhere. If you don't mind that and have lots of hair conditioner to get the burs out of the dog would highly recommend this place. I took over 100 bus off my St Bernard!

Beautiful place to spend time and walk. There are three bridges that you can cross on order to walk both sides of the coulee. You can also go through the underway that goes under the highway and continues the pathways that goes to the teepee. During winter time you can do sliding and during summertime you can play basketball. They organize movies and other festivals during summertime.

Really nice dog park. But people with bikes are all over the dog part. They get upset when dogs bark when they go by. People on bikes need to respect the park being for dogs.

Love this park. Take my dog there for daily walks, with the gyms being closed I will sometimes run up and down the stairs beside the hill people slide down... park is well maintained and my dog enjoys it like I do.

this is a public park consistently well maintained by the city crews as are all of the parks in Medicine Hat. There are benches, nice water scapes, two baseball parks with constant games starting in the summers in the early evenings pretty much daily. There is a beautiful Canada 150 totem pole which is perfect for selfies or group shots while there. There are Leopard frogs living in the water and there are natural habitat plaques throughout the park. There are two sets of warmup and public washrooms to use that are clean and well lit. There is a band shell for performers and there are picnic sites throughout the park. Into beach volleyball there is that too. A great place for a walk with someone special, a really good dog walk and a not so chintzy bike ride. There is underground access to the biggest dog park in town through a culvert under the trans canada highway. There is also one of the biggest sliding hills in the winter if you have the stamina to climb the stairs beside it 100 times with your kids. There is always wildlife of some kind there in all seasons, birds, ducks, deer, etc... A plentitude of beautiful trees of all kinds; cottonwoods, elms, larch, birch, oak, maple, pines and scotch pines abound. The park does have an automatic watering system and all trails are paved. You can access the park through the coulee on foot or bike or motorized wheel chair either off 12th St. on the transcanada highway side or you can get there by the Inland skate park next to the Parks and Recreation greenhouse. Its a multi layered park with lots to see and do and don't forget to come to the concerts and to play as a family in the busy Kinette Corner playground for kids of all ages; swings, tractors, climbing wall, etc.... If you are an Ingress player there are almost 12 portals here same for Pokemon Go.

Would be handy to have water faucets around to get water to put out the fire as it's hard to get water out of the bathroom faucet; however, there is a creek so you can bring a bucket and use that. Great place to bring your family or meet with friends for a picnic.
