good for sunset and a coffee

Couple of gorgeous sunrises here. Big ramp with numerous signs explaining the Red River Floodway. Architectural passive massif reminiscing of the elements of the floodway.

A great place close to the city that you can get away and go for a walk without dealing with a lot of hustle and bustle. Be aware if you're taking your dogs for a walk here, specially in and around June, the ticks here are in abundance. Keep an eye open for wildlife, seen hawks and norther harriers here, along with a bunch of different song birds. The access adjacent to hwy 59 attracts teens in cars, so, be aware of that.

If you are looking for a place to sled that old kids enjoy and you can safely social distance this is a great location. The parking lot on a busy day near Gunn road can be a bit small and it’s directly off the perimeter. But there are other access points look at the map to find others. It is open so cold wind over 35km is going to keep your visit short. But the path along the floodway and the endless amounts of sledding surface make it an easy choice for an outdoor adventure.

Otherwise known as the floodgates, Duff Goblin Park isn't much of a stop. The only thing this place is good for is some occasional fishing if you're lucky. But be careful, none of the grass is cut, the gravel parking lot has many imperfections and there aren't any bathrooms.

(Translated) The trees on the shore in autumn add a lot of color. There are rivers and bridges, children can play and sunbathe on the lawn, and there are many people fishing on the banks. There are telescopes on the promenade, you can see the people fishing on the other side of the river and the people on the bridge, you can see quite clearly.

Ray Swiderek

Not much of a park. Just cut grass and a parking lot next to the south floodway gate. No amenities to be seen.

(Translated) Small park, very quiet, you can fish, there are several old buildings (Original) 小公园,很安静,可以钓鱼,有几栋老建筑

We were not actually at the park. South of the park there is decent fishing along the shore for catfish, walleye, goldeye, freshwater drum, soccer's, pike, perch depending on the time of year.

Be prepared for unpaved and unsupported roads. Bring your own water . Lots of grasshoppers hitting my bike and bouncing off me. Probably encountered a few thousand as I was cycling 5.5 hours
