My family enjoys this park. The train park is great because they have the rubberized ground cover, so no hidden dangerous objects. The lake is lovely for a good walk. And the fruit trees are awesome. We've gone to pick cherries, and we're looking forward to the apples and pears maturing in the next few years.

The park is beautiful at all times of the day. It is beautiful at sunrise when the sun lights up the grass and the lake. It is beautiful at noon socially to see people make use of it. It is beautiful at sunset with the long shadows of the trees and the families getting the energy out of their kids before bedtime. It is great to see people taking care of their health by jogging walking, cycling, and disc golf.

Quick short cut when you don't want to take the road. A lot of obstacles tho for some reason? Why would someone put a lake in the middle of the shortcut? Now my car is all wet.. very clean now, 5 stars.

I think this is a great local park. I have been going here for years, as my daughter has grown up. Have fished the pond many times, have caught some good sized pike.vhave been told there are trout in there, but haven't gotten any yet.

The lake seems to be kept at a lower depth lately. So it feels more like a wetland than a like in a few areas. Which is nice too - except that it also means there are wetland smells. Again - not necessarily a bad thing. But a thing none-the-less.

I don't live on the west side so even though I've driven past here numerous times, I've never stopped in. But I went here the other day with my sister and young nieces and it was wonderful. The "train" playground is my 3 yr old niece's favourite. The recycled tire surface was much nicer than gravel - softer and flexible/bouncy. And it was fabulous not getting pebbles in my shoes! The 15 mos old fell several times & bounced right back with no issue. There were numerous options of slides, swings, bars, rockers, climbing structures, etc for all different ages ... and of course the train, complete with sound effects. The lake, grounds, walking paths, covered picnic area - it was all perfect for an enjoyable afternoon. Pretty sure I even saw bathrooms at the picnic shelter. What else could you possibly need? ????

Beautiful space, well taken care of, activities include walking/running/biking paths, fishing, disc golf, non-motorized boating, a fantastic playground with rubber ground and great green spaces. Winter activities can be sledding, cross country skiing and walks as paths are maintained year round. There is even a shelter with picnic tables and flush toilets

Nice park for an easy walk or a day out. The park has lots of mature trees and picnic tables to relax at. There is a large playground, disc golf course and a decent size pond/lake. You can fish, ice fish, kayak, canoe or skate depending on time of year.

Beautifully maintained park with great facilities like the disc golf course and the playground. The lake and the many little bridges are a favorite destination to do some locsl fishing. There's a boat launch for non-motorized vessels. Perfect for kayaking or pontoon fishing. Overall the park is clean and green with garbage and recycling containers everywhere.

Great park! Plenty of activities to do for everyone. There is a latge playground structure for families with small kids. The lake is stocked with fish and you can fish from anywhere around the shore. Lots of walking paths going throughout the park and there is also a nice disc golf course set up covering the entire park.
