A gorgeous park with lovely walking trails, paved for cyclists and rollerblading. The concession stand is not too shabby, though the public washrooms are often unusable. Lovely landscaping and green spaces, lots of trees and the water is well maintained. Be careful going on a date here, I'm told, because it's a long pathway to follow if you figure out that you don't like the person early on.

A beautiful oasis in the middle of lethbridge. My wife and I will often take our puppy for a walk around the perimeter. Not to many bugs, clean park. Just dont go in the water unless you want swimmers itch, but that's normal for Alberta.

The lake is always a good place to go if you gave kids or just want to get out of the house. The two parks are nice and they a few different paths you could take. It's great that they have a confession open during the summer for those hot days. It's clean for the most part and they have lots of picnic areas around the lake.

we used to live in Lethbridge and it's not too far away from this park. It was a beautiful place to come and exercise. I love running all the way around the lake and the park. There's a really great playground for The Children Here. Our most recent visit we were just passing through Lethbridge but we took a stop here to let the kids stretch out their legs at the playground. It was jam-packed with people and everybody was having a really great time. Only issue was around parking because there was some Dragon Boat training going on at the time. One of the better Parks I've ever visited.

Enjoyed taking kids to the center park, walking to the concession and having an ice cream snack (portions are small compared to other tourist spots). However, it has been a few years since walking in the park and some things could be better. There we smoke butts absolutely everywhere along with bits of garbage strewn about-though these days, that seems beautiful when compared to the other things found littering our parks . it could have been worse. But we enjoyed the walk and the park, and the couple of ducks we saw.

This is a nice place to go for a walk or take the kids to play. The one thing that you really have to look out for are needles and other drug related trash, but that goes without saying with just about any location in Lethbridge. There are almost always tons of geese and other waterfowl to watch and sometimes there are deer. Just don’t be surprised if you see someone shooting up in the park.

Google wants me to review Henderson Lake. It's a middle-ish size lake in the middle of the city. Big enough to have a dock but not so big for motor boats. There's lots of green space, so there's something going on here almost every weekend.

It is a beautiful and serine place. There are lots of different birds to watch and plenty of play areas for the kids. The Japanese Gardens and a swimming pool, as well as a lawn bowling facility. There are lots of things for adults and kids to do.

Wonderful place to take the kids. Both parks are easily accessible and a lot of fun. If you come during summer make a stop at the water park it's well worth the price. Trails are well cared for and there are history stones all around to see. Would have rates it higher if the washrooms in the park were open all year but they aren't.

I typically love Henderson Lake Park, but this evening (approx 7:00), 3 vehicles filled with Hutterites parked in close proximity to where we were parked. Two older males got out of their vehicle and one proceeded to urinate on his front passenger-side tire ... directly in our visual range. Both men were staggering and appeared inebriated. My husband shook his head when they looked over at us, and they approached our vehicle saying, "he really needed to go bad". I just looked in the opposite direction, but found this behavior profoundly offensive. Not only were we in close proximity, but on the other side were children in the play area, and directly in front of us was the walking path. Disgusting! Incidentally the washrooms were only a short distance away. Shortly thereafter many men, women and children converged toward one vehicle and we witnessed a sharing of whiskey among the men and women. Soon thereafter they all loaded up into their vehicles and left. Unfortunately, you just cannot unsee something like this. Hope it's just an isolated incident.

The park in general is quite nice and it's great scenery all around when you want to just walk. There are numerous benches to sit down and talk with someone and enjoy the view. The open areas are great for picnics and the parks are big enough to keep the little kids entertained too. Sadly the complaint i have is the lake water is not something I would I go swimming in. Numerous events throughout the season to enjoy as well.
