I've spent on a ton of time in the Petawawa Terrace since moving here. From dog walks, to biking, to snowshoeing in the winter the place has something to keep you active year round. Recently the town appears to be adding to the budget for the terrace, some old trails have been cleared out again.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to go for a walk. There's nothing quite like it. As soon as you go into them, it feels like a completely different world. Good to walk year round, even in winter!

Great place for family walks. Lower terrace is becoming a little overgrown. This is a natural environment classified provincial park. Could easily be 5 stars but there are still selfish people who don't pick up after their dogs or keep them on a leash.

This little park is amazing. Parking is spacious and accessible. There are a variety of trails here for everyone. For those that want an easy walk can complete a loop through the mature trees. For those who want a more scenic walk can progress down the hills. After a bit of traversing there is a bit of a marsh. We saw deer and a bunch of geese. Fun for the whole family

One my favorite spots for years, please pickup after your pets and yourselves. Would appreciate it if you picked up after others too. Great place to go for walks, a run, bike ride, bring the dogs to, take photographs.

Great place to walk year round. Kids love it. Great for walking the dog. Would be great if people would clean up after their dogs all year round especially in winter and not put poopy filled bags hanging in the trees.

This place is really relaxing to walk, run, or bike through but even has something heritage about it also. About half way through there is a smaller path that goes down to the old fish hatchery which is no longer in use but kinda neat to see. Full disclosure on a really hot day it might not be the best time as deer flies will be waiting for you haha. But if you're in the area and want a relaxing walk this is one of the many places that are worth checking out.

Had a Saturday afternoon stroll with my family. I read a previous review that this park was "stroller friendly". If you are taking the path along Laurentian Drive and the yellow access road on the map, YES..it is stroller friendly. Once you go down the hill towards the Old Fish Pond, NO it's not stroller friendly because of the tree roots. It rained a few days prior so there was lots of mud. Beautiful views of the Ottawa River when you are the North part of the trail (minus the power lines). Overall, great trail for walks for the whole family.

My family absolutely loves this place. The walking trail is stroller friendly and there is so much to see (chipmunks, caterpillars, snakes, raspberries, etc). And when you have finished the trail there is a wonderful little park and area to have a picnic. It's a great place to spend an afternoon.

This is a super fun trail! We love that there is your typical loop, however, if you are feeling a little adventurous you can trail off through the center and zigzag through different paths to create your own trail. You will even come across a little hidden fairy land and some other small fun features like a ladder and forts. Totally worth venturing off the path less traveled!

This park is an excellent size for smaller children with swings and a main playstructure. There is also ample shade and seating with a picnic area, as well as a public restroom.

Big place with nice walks through pine forest of down the embankment to fish hatchery, pond and some wetland along shores of ottawa river. Kids play park by the parking lot.
