Great place for a picnic

Amber Sulymka

Nice big area for dogs to run, benches in the middle so people can sit. The negatives are the water fountain for the dogs to drink is outside the gate, so every time my dogs need to drink I have to put their leash on and walk through the gate. Also there is only one gate, there should be 2 so that when you walk in you don’t have to hold back the other dogs and stop them from getting out when you enter.

Decent sized. Has a few mud holes that the dogs love to go through. Not great if the dog is going in a vehicle. Sometimes busy and often no one there. Water fountain in spring summer and fall for the dogs.

Stephen M. Torr (2019 onward)

Nice, big, fenced flat land area; probably about 3/4 - 1 acre. Grounds seemed to be pretty well maintained. No unfilled digging holes, broken glass, or anything dangerous that I could see. Could use some trees or a hill or something else of interest to a dog as it really is just flat land. Not too much fun for the pups though unless your dog is social (assuming other dogs are there while you are) or loves to play fetch. Only negative I'd say would be the lower part of the fence. It's about 4 ft tall, but some of the lowest crossbeam have come loose and not put back up properly. So if you have a smaller dog (i.e. American Eskimo Spitz, Chihuahua, etc.) and they happen to be escape artists, there is a chance of that happening here. So just be ware and walk your pup accordingly. Otherwise, it's a great little lot of land to let your dogs burn out some energy.

The best feature here is a public drinking fountain for both humans and dogs, which is unfortunately turned off in the winter months and part of spring.

(Translated) Dogs are running at wide dog parks. There is no dog playground, but there is a drinking water table and a bowel bag at the door. It's a great place for dogs to go and play with them.

A large open field with lots of room to run! What more could a dog ask for! The park can get muddy but my dog loves that too. There is a water fountain for the dogs on hot days and township supplied doggy bags too. Theres nothing fancy about it but it does the job nicely for my pup.

Brian Gunn

Decent local dog park. Good dogs and owners. Lots of room for play. Only issue is drainage during the rainy months.

John Wollenzin

Fully fenced. Can be muddy after it rains. No shade. Water available.

Justin Smith

Awesome place to take your dog. The park is separated into 4 or so different dog runs with walking trails between them all.

Ryan P

Marshy mud pit. Not very busy.

Adriana Sgouraditis

This off leash park is basically a square patch of land that has been fenced off. There's a TON of large puddles that are ankle deep with mud when it rains, also I highly recommend to watch where you are walking if you decide to go onto the grass, there's quite a few holes that are hidden. The park is beside what I believe to be a power station or tower, not exactly a great view. But if your just looking for somewhere close and closed off to let your dog off the leash and either don't have time or just simply don't want to drive/walk to the dog park beside Walnut Grove Secondary School, Derby reach, Heritage park in Mission , Bateman park in Abbotsford or Tynehead park on 96th Avenue just before 168th Street then this place would do just fine. Make sure you keep a close eye on your furry friend if their small due to the fact they might be able to escape through the wooden fence.

Best dog park in the neighborhood

Peter George

Well fenced. Local. They have water fountains for people and dogs. Kept clean. A couple of benches to sit on. Wish there were shaded areas especially in the heat.

Jordan Treivish

This park is nice in regard to location, however, after rain, or during winter, the park gets all muddy and it adds to the work after taking your dog out in already sub-optimal conditions. Also, I heard it used to be a sanitation station, and I don't want to know if there are other things mixed with the mud. If its dry out though, the park is nice and convenient.

Pretty bare bones off leash area. They do provide bags for clean up which is great. Only parking is on the street, so you have to be careful getting your dog in/out of the car if you drive here

Matt Lankin

Big mud puddles. Some smell like a sewer. Still an awesome park. Dogs love it.

James Charlton

Clean, well maintained dog park

Robert B McNeill

Gets really soupy when it rains. Most of the dogs/owners are well socialized. Some, not so much.

L G

It's a muddy field most of the year, but lots of dogs play here. Just make sure you hose the pupper off when you get home.

nihilo11

Good park to let your dog run around off leash. No washroom at this location though.

Agnes Pook

Took our dog for the first time to a dog park. I thought this was going to be ideal as there were no other dogs at the time. However, she's only about 10 lbs so not that big and she fits through gaps in and under the fence. We didn't stay long.

Pretty sad little dog "park". Not much bigger than my yard and always muddy and wet. Nice people there but the park is a waste of time. The paved trail is great - just keep on walking.
