This park is such a nice for kid and has a wooden playground as well. My son and I had fun time while riding bike and scooter. The thing that I really recommend to newbies is to bring protections for your kids to this park.

I love this park! Will come to Langely only for it! Great for all ages, my 3 yo had a blast as so did I. There's no soap dispenser in the washrooms so always bring your antibacterial gel.

Great for the young or old! Lots of climbing, jumping and there's an in ground trampoline. There's also a basketball court, bike course and and an area for skateboards/scooters. There isn't much seating though and no shade at all. Bring your own water bottle since there isn't a water fountain. There is a parking lot and two porta potties.

A very nice activity park with different courses for all ages. While the major deficiency is where it was built, there are others that are just a consequence of the place being very new. Cons: 1) Built under high voltage towers that buzz constantly. 2) No water fountains yet so BRING YOUR OWN (LOTS OF) WATER. 3) No proper washrooms: Two Port-A-Potties. 4) MINIMAL SHADE. Bring hats and sunscreen. 5) No grass yet… a mixture of sand and grass seeds on most green areas. Bring something to throw on top if you want to picnic or sun-bath. 6) No proper trash and recyclables containers yet. Bring a bag to take home your organics or recyclables specially if the temporary containers are full. Let's keep it clean, people! 7) No zip line. A common place in activity parks, this is a sad decision. 8) No picnic tables or benches. PROS: 1) SIX Different Courses! ???? Two Parkour courses for beginners in general to work different skills and habilities and one for more advanced participants. A skating course, a bicycle track and an all-in-one ball sports court. 2) Most big wooden surfaces have a light coat of sand to prevent slip. 3) All areas inside and around the three parkour courses are made of recycled rubber making it very soft for the landing and running. 4) A Jumping Aid Area (looks like a mini trampoline) embedded on the surface to help one with jumps and flips. FINAL NOTE: This is NOT a playground and PARENTS should be very watchful of their kids and really THINK if they should be roaming on the advanced parkour course around STRONG and FAST 20, 30, 40+ year olds that pick up A LOT of momentum and CAN'T STOP mid-run. Please, don't let your child hoard the Jumping Aid Area. Is not to a trampoline but an aid for higher jumps and flips. The usual taking turns works. ☺ AGAIN: The Parkour courses are NOT age based but SKILL based. If you or your child are beginners, make sure you master the simpler areas first. Go check it out, BE SAFE so you can HAVE LOTS OF FUN.

A good variety of activities for all ages and difficulty levels. Biking, scooters, parkour, obstacle course, basketball court, skate park. Picnic and seating areas available, just bring your own shelter as the trees are still young and small. Haven't tried the trail yet, but will do next time.

Great for kids, lots of climbing and balancing apparatuses. Wonderful for tiring your child out lol. I gave it 4 stars, only because it was very busy. But that just means that the park is awesome. Just a note, it has no swings, slides or other typical playground equipment. However the purpose of this park, is not to be a typical playground. There's tons of playgrounds everywhere else. Penzer Park aspires to be a haven for rambunctious and active children, teens and even adults. It focuses on balance, dexterity, and climbing. All great skills to build up for sports and activities.

This park is great for older kids. My three year old daughter enjoyed the Parkour area but it was limiting as the structures are natural and built with logs that she can’t grasp and climb. There is a play area that is suitable for children up to three and will keep them busy. There is also a bike area, court for sports like basketball, hockey and lacrosse. We will visit it again but a little later when my daughter is a bit taller and can reach more of the bars for swinging and climbing.

This park is amazing. We drive out here from Vancouver. The skate park is primarily occupied by smaller kids on scooters and there is a separate bike track. There isn't much shade, and no water fountain, so bring a chair and some water bottles. There are porta potties on site and they are kept in reasonable condition, which does make life easier as there are no nearby businesses to duck in to for a pee break.

Awesome! I've never done Parkour and I haven't worked out in over a year, but I was able to do way more than I expected. My kids lived it too! It's great to have a junior Parkour too. Can't wait to bring the bikes next time to try the course out. Parking was easy and the place was really busy. Lots of picnic space.

Without a doubt, this is the best kids playground we have been to. Kids of all ages -- from age 4 to age 40 -- were out exploring the facilities: BMX, (limited) skate park, basketball courts, and the new parkour park in particular. It was amazing to see how everyone could enjoy taking on the parkour course at their level, whether they were a little kid climbing or an adult jumping over obstacles. Wish there was one of these near where we live!

Came here with our toddlers and had a blast. Packed a lunch and stayed the day. The community vibe is present here with kids cheering each other on as they try to work at overcoming certain obstacles. We came during school hours, so mostly younger children, but there is clear evidence of inspirational riders and parkour athletes that frequent this place. Great parkour park for young and old, nice bike park for novice to experienced riders and ball courts for those interested in team sports.

We love this park. There's a playground for littles, an action playground for bigger kids, a multiuse court for soccer and basketball and roller hockey etc, bike jumps for more advanced riders, a pump track for more beginners, a skate bowl for smaller wheels...lots of options. washrooms and water fountain too, and a couple picnic tables under a pergola. The only things missing are a dog area and shade ;)

Fun place to take the kids, we visited mainly for the bike jumps, but they have unfortunately been neglected by the city and there are terrible ruts in the landings and a bunch of the wooden jumps have broken slats. Would be a lot more fun if the jumps were better maintained.

I am so amazed by this park! A bike park, scooter/skateboard park, plus a large parkour playground for kids and adults of all ages and skill levels, AND basketball courts! My only annoyance is the TINY parking spots! Holy cow! They barely fit a van or truck, and getting doors open is near impossible if parked between another van or truck. The only other annoyances will be solved with time (the weird grass seed/hay everywhere which gets into everything when the wind picks up, and the lack of adequate shade from small, new trees).

Super cool park! I would have loved to have this as a teenager. I even really enjoy it as an adult. I like the MASSIVE open space and lots of options for activity for kids of all ages. Tons of bars so I can do outdoor work outs while I watch the kids. I like that there are tons of options for horizontal bars, so I can do muscle ups without accidentally kicking kids. Great park, kids have tons of fun here. Will graduate them to the BMX park when they get older! Very unique. Awesome options when we go to the valley.

Penzer Action Park offers features for parkour, skateboards and tennis as well as conventional playground features and a dirt track for BMX and mountain bikes. It is a great location for parents and kids to get outside, excrcise and have a picnic. There are porta potties on site while the washroom structure is being completed

It's a great place to learn to catch air. Roll over the beginner's run and move on over to more challenging runs as your skill level rises. The whole park is well kept, well maintained and as such- well used. 4 stars only because the park would truly benefit from some lighting, even if just a couple spotlights running for a half hour.

Kids loved it!! Great active activity that kept the kids busy. I'd recommend bringing a chair if you want to sit and watch. Also, bikes for the bmx portion and/or scooters for the skate park area. There is also a basketball court. Be aware on hot days that there isn't much shade. Plenty of water/hats/sunscreen recommended.

The park is fun for kids and even for adults. There is high voltage power line close to the action park and no shade except a small shelter. Also during windy weather there is lots of sand from the nearby area that prepared for cycling. There is no fence around the park to protect little ones from going to the street. Heads up.

Penzer action is such an incredible place for fun activities, the park has everything! Basketball courts, road hockey courts, a BMX park, a skateboard park, and of course the parkour park. You can spend all day here trying out numerous ways to get active... Or injure yourself ????. But in all seriousness it is an extremely unique place and great for the whole family. There are also public washrooms.

So much here for kids of all ages! I was impressed when I parked and walked up. Playgrounds, par-cour, biking, basketball, ball hockey, skateboarding - and all have areas appropriate for various ages. But little kids often get into the challenging areas for big kids or adults (and get hurt), so beware. Not a lot of bench seating or picnic tables, and no water fountains or bathrooms.

Great park for kids of all ages. I love that there is a skateboard/scooter/bike park, dirt bike section, parkour section, and a safe place for the toddlers to play and explore. The only thing I didn't like is the multitude of power lines hanging directly above your head! Has washroom facilities also but we didn't use them so not sure how clean they are. Highly recommend!!!

Great equipment to use and signs to teach you tips for the parkour area. Lots of different spaces: dirt bike track, parkour playground, sports arena, and (finally) washrooms. Unfortunately, washrooms are super dingy, and the fountains never are working when I have gone there. Overall enjoyable experience if you bring lots of water and preferably an umbrella for shade.

It is a very good park. It is big enough that there is enough area for scooter, bike and climbing area. There is a mini trampoline in the climbing side. There is a walking route u can walk around. There is also a big basketball or soccer court. Very good park for kids.

Brought 3 kids aged 10 - 12 with scooters. They were there for over 3 hours and they could have stayed longer. No recycling or compost facilities on site so plan on packing stuff out of you care about doing your part on conserving materials

Is it safe to be so close to high voltage power lines? The action park itself is a great concept and my kids loved playing there however being under high voltage power lines is my greatest concern. I actually felt electricity run through his little body whenever I touched him.

This is an awesome athletic type of park. Not like the traditional parks with swings and slides. This one is more of a gymnastic park there's also a skate park, awesome huge basketball court, a bike park with ramps and jumps etc. Definitely good for the older kids!!

Amazing park. Lots to do for all kids of all ages. Looking forward to going back. I would suggest they add another trampoline section. The line up for it was long and the kids didn't mind waiting at first but grew impatient with time. Adding another would allow more kids to enjoy.
