Areal Beautiful Park

The waterpark is decent, not the best I've ever seen but it is fenced and it definitely does the job on a hot day. The 5 star rating is for the splash park/park combo. The park is recently updated with lots to do for bigger and smaller kids. There are bathrooms that are easily accessible and clean and there is also lots of shaded area with big trees, a tennis court and picnic tables. Highly recommend a visit.

Great park for kids and families. Don’t count on washrooms. Washroom signs says open 10am-8pm. No one showed up at 10. My daughter had to taker her 3 kids to another business nearby. A park attendant showed up at 10:41 !. Men’s washroom was so filthy that looked like that wasn’t looked after for many days.

Beautiful park in downtown Langley close to restaurants, coffee shops, novelty shops, even some of those memories from the 60's.The park has open grassy areas with paths built throughout and easy to navigate, there's an outdoor covered area with a stage which often hosts local talent , a tennis court and in the summer months a fully functional water park where the kids can hang out with Mom and Dad.

This is a nice park. And in the summer they have free theatre. Free music in the summer. Free workout equipment. Tennis courts. Ping pong and a water park in the summer.

Big park with plenty of variety of activities for young, old and alike! Lots of benches scattered around the large park which has a community centre located in it aswell as a bathroom, spray park (water turns on June 1st annually.) A generously sized stadium-style stage, tennis/basketball/hockey courts, a very fun and uniquely entertaining park with the best swings in Langley, fun slides that are short for your 1 year old and tall for the older child's enjoyment. Featuring a garden in just about every single spot that you could put one, there's no shortage of flowers and greenery thorough out this very well maintained park which is named after the elementary school that is agasent to the back fence of Douglas Park, to keep the youngsters away from the cars in the parking lot ???? Definitely one of my favourite places in gorgeous Langley/Langley Township! ☆☆☆☆☆ for certain!!

We visited the park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and found it quite busy as one would expect. The playground area is quite new and has a wide variety of activities for 1 to 7 year olds. There is a spray park connected and that seemed to be a lot of fun too for the younger kids. There is limited parking and shade area but if you get there early enough you would be fine. There are large fields beside the park and a nice outdoor gym area that would be great for the locals. It is definitely a great park for those living in the proximity.

The park has lot of workout equipments, playground, tennis courts, a stage, and benches. The parking lot can be a bit small. It's good for families who are active! Lot of four legged friends taking walks too! This park is great for all age groups, grandma and grandpas all the way down to toddlers!

I like that it’s patrolled by a security guard, and it has an outdoor gym with about ten pieces of equipment. Cons: outdoor gym machines are so so, but i have not tried any other ones to compare to. Smokers always occupying the corner by stage. One time, someone came there to smoke pot by our baby stroller.

Had lots of fun, got quite busy around 3:00 it's a very popular spot. Just be mindful that there are people passing through the park who are NOT mindful about shutting the gate in between the waterpark and busy road ...behind them.

Douglas Park is the perfect spot to meet friends for good old gabfest. The park grounds are always well maintained. Grass is mowed and flower beds well kept.Security patrolled all the time.the park offers many outdoor activities including pickle ball If your in Langely city drop by for at least a stroll, im certain you will enjoy it

My kids love to explore new playground. We come this playground after we had trial in Campbell valley park in Langley. Kids were excited to see this new playground for them. They spent 2 hours to here. Space is big enough , wooden chip in the whole playground to protect kids falling down. Really worthy to come here again and recommend my friends to come .

Very nice park! They did some renovations fairly recently and the kids absolutely love it! You do get some interesting people sometimes (drunk teenagers making out for example), but nothing that would make me worry about kids. It's a little out of the way for us but we'll definitely be coming back here, and our friends that live nearby come here all the time.

Park is very nice but the washrooms have people doing drugs then falling asleep. The men's washroom was out of order so these men were in the women's washroom, how safe do women and children feel when they walk into that washroom....not very. The City had to check them more often so this doesn't happen.

Great park in Langley. Has tons of walking paths and is right next to Old Langley. Has a stage for events or just hanging about and there are several activity areas like basketball and ball hockey arenas to use.

We went to the park for a play. My daughter rode her scooter there. After playing on the swings and slides we went over to the water park. We forgot to bring our scooter with us. When we went back to get it, it was gone. Someone stole it. It was a sad day for us. The park itself is excellent but the area isn't so good. Watch your stuff.

Very nice green space in the middle of downtown Langley. Has a school and rec centre on it, as well as playgrounds and a waterpark, plus out door gym equipment, an amphitheatre, numerous trails and lots of picnic space. Dogs are allowed off leash, so are girlfriends

I love going to Douglas Park, it's well maintained and it's very clean too, (at least it is when I am there, that is). I walk there every day as it's close by to where I live. It has a Water Park too, which operates during the Summer months. I love my City of Langley, B.C. Canada. A stroll in the park on a cool and wet rainy day is Beautiful to do too. If you haven't been there yet, I strongly suggest that you go there and walk on the pathway that has already been prepared for you there as well. Regards, Angela Dahl.

This playground is amazing! Will definitely entertain kids of all ages and even adults can find certain areas challenging to climb. Just make sure to supervise your kid closely and make sure they are in an area appropriate for their age since there are some pretty high climbs and slides.

Playground has many structures for small and big kids. They is also water spray park. I like that it is gated so kids won’t easily run to the streets. Has public washroom. Parking king is limited so you have to park in the street
