Such a wonderful use of this space! I remember when there was absolutely nothing in this field - now, I get to pass this beautiful garden! Going here for a gentle stroll around the loop is the perfect walking distance and time for me. I love seeing people bring their pooches for a run, and especially enjoy the demonstration garden. I look forward to seeing what the new structure turns out to be!

Securetwo

Lovely space to walk around in, garden to the East with a couple of tables under a picnic shelter(small exercise space just to the West of it). Arboretum part more to the West and North, including path that fully encompasses the entire "park's" space and which can veer to the North to pass the Langley airport to 56th. Large grassy space in the middle of the park. Lovely to see the seasonal changes in the garden- neat as Spring comes to see the community gardens grow too. Some form of washrooms on South side of picnic shelter area. Don't know if the Aboriginal demonstration building is operational now(West side of park)?

The park features smooth gravel trails, viewpoints, benches, good parking and a garden. This is a great part to visit for a gentle stroll. There are some outdoor exercise machines for older people, there isn't any playground equipment or other children's activities.

Pretty, the center is still under construction as of 08-13-18 nice place to walk or use wheelchair but have to get across the grass first had a outdoor fitness area anyone can use. Their are chairs also around the path

Love the place????Go there often to walk, to sit with my dog. The dirt piles made by little under ground critters throughout are distracting from its ambiance...hope it gets resolved somehow....would like to see more garbage cans provided so one doesn't have to carry their dogs poo around the park with them....otherwise it is like a little haven to go to and get away from the traffic and madness of everyday life

Chris Stein

Very nice addition to Langley's trails!

A very beautiful park in the middle of what would probably be an empty field. Lots interesting things to look at too. A cool building with native art all over it, beautiful gardens, and a small farm like community garden. The trail walks next to the airport so you can see the planes land and take off. There are lookouts along the trail that overlook the marsh and grass fields. Very peaceful, very pretty. I would recommend for taking the dog for a walk or simply taking a break to clear ones mind.

This park is evolving in to a beautiful place to walk with several benches and chairs to sit. It's almost a 1 km loop.

Britney Price

Really nice place for a walk with lovely gardens. Great place to take the dog on a walk or just enjoy a peaceful stroll. The memorial is very thoughtful.

Scott Napier

We have been coming to this park since they first started developing it and love to see the progression of it. Easy walking trails, community gardens and viewing platforms for bird and duck watching.

Chad B.

Great park, but just as we don't wanna forget soldiers who died in Afghanistan, we also don't wanna forget the people they killed. We also wanna remember to never again fight meaningless wars for harmful commodities in the name of American propaganda.

Hugh Message

Quite and respectful place full of memory of Canada's fallen Veterans.

Edward Martens

Just at building for a meeting. Look forward to walking the trail sometime.

Wow what am absolute beautiful place to walk and take in some nature. The new building is so delightful and filled with history for all of Langley to soak in. I highly recommend this peaceful place for inner passion towards happiness. I did my meditation today here at this very power spot. THANKYOU Rotary Club of Langley and TOL!! This is such a great space enjoyed by many. Take a walk along the loop, head towards the airport to watch the planes take off, stroll through the gardens and just admire the beauty of this place. We were here this afternoon and it was not busy a few families here and there. At the airport viewpoint there is a beautiful art installation the Benches of Diversity by Elaine Brewer-White and 400 local students. A gem in the middle of Langley, go check it out! ***People pick up your pets waste, that’s how dogs get banned from beautiful places like this.

This is a great park for walking/running, dog walking and doing photo shoots for couples/ and weddings. This park took so long to put together but admittedly the wait was pretty worth it. The design of the park is fantastic and all the small additions including the Vimy Ridge memorial, garden, and benches are fantastic.

Tammy Gunn

Beautiful landscaping and fresh breezes... horticultural society garden, age friendly workout area, a recent history lesson, deer can be spotted and small planes overhead picturesque in the blue sky . Very flat terrain albeit small gravel covered better for large wheel strollers. Lovely.

Stephen Arnold

This is a wonderful park with many features. A major feature is the circular, winding trail around the circumference of the park. Accompanying the trail are 158 trees which recognize the 158 Canadian soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan. At the northern part of the trail is a flag pole and a memorial sculpture which recognizes each soldier by name. Also in the park is a large log building under construction. There are also several gardens including a community garden and a willow garden. A toilet is also convenient.

CT Sohier

Great park for kids to run around, lots of dog walkers and really neat public garden

We visited this place in the midst of the fall colors. It's really quite amazing with the paths lined with beautiful maples. There are some other unique plants and trees throughout and the interpretive center is well crafted. A great little oasis in langley.

This is a beautiful arboretum with gorgeous landscaping that's nicely laid out to provide a lovely place for walking. There's a great variety of plants and trees, many of which are unique to the area. There are also two very noteworthy memorials to the Canadian Armed Forces and a young oak tree grown from an acorn from Vimy Ridge. One memorial commemorates a battle fought during the Korean War, the other honors the brave men and women who lost their lives in Afghanistan. The Rotary Interpretative Center, an impressive log building, was not yet open to the public when we visited. The park also features extensive demonstration gardens. There are several different ecosystems represented including meadow and wetlands. We saw several people walking dogs on leashes or just out enjoying a stroll. The parking lot is gravel and very large; there's a toilet over near the demonstration gardens. We very much enjoyed our time at this park!

Great place to take the kids and dog for a little outdoor exercise while watching aircraft takeoff and land from the Langley Airport. Lots of benches and viewing areas along with outdoor gym equipment make this a fun little walk to be enjoyed by all. The walkway itself is great for strollers or wheelchairs although the parking lot can be a bit of a challenge as the gravel is much softer. The entrance does come up quick so be prepared for that!
