This Park belongs to the category of Ecological park.
Fantastic walking park or bike riding lots of picnic benches along the way
Perfect for families with young kids. Nothing special and limited parking.
Great spot to hangout and go for a swim/kayak/paddleboard/canoe on a hot day. Normally few people there on a nice day familys, campers/outOFtowners and university students= afew goodlooking girls. There was around 20 people there in the …
Last time misqutos galour none this time.
Great drive there!
Nice place to relax. Weekdays are usually quiet.
Beautiful
Clean and a good place to watch a sunset over the river on a nice walk
Awesome area with the channel to swim in. Campsites are a bit tight but fine if you're not spending your day there
Lots of powerful mosquitos! Though very attractive small town there across the bridge.
Pretty nice walk. With only one bench when you get to Travistock Point it is pretty disappointing when it's already taken but at least the beach and view was nice. Parking was easy and trail was well marked.
Love this place. Went for a nice walk around the river. Felt amazing even it was raining.
Favorite Day Picnic Site on the Fraser and nice Camp Ground. This is where Spring Salmon BBQ goes down.
Good walk, well groomed path. Lots of room but very busy place, hard to park at times.
Great place to spend time and amazing park people!
Great for camping with family. There is a riverside and electricity can
Today we came here around 3 PM on a Sunday. Very sunny day so we decided to go to Fort Langley to this island park. Not a lot of parking available but we were able to find once we came here. Lots of people jogging, couples, and families. It …
Soo many mosquitoes there, please wear mosquito proof wearing!
Scenic. Follows the river. Largely uncrowded...
A go to place for us to take the kids in spring and fall when its warm but not quite swimming weather. The sand is so fine and great for building.
You can swim when it’s really warm out!
Best spot to walk by the river, eat good food, and see cute shops ????
Great park for sunsets. Nice long trail, not too busy. Fort Langley strip of stores/food is nearby so it's just a great place to spend the evening.
Beautiful shaded walk for a hot summer day, and a little sandy beach with a bench at the very end. Lots of blackberries if you forget to pack a picnic too. You will enjoy this outing for a nice easy walk. No need to go the whole distance …
Went to the river side beach, it’s a narrow sandy/mud beach with lots of room to social distance from people. Swim the river, put a chair and soak your feet, not really a shady place so bring your own.
Really pretty place. Mosquitoes a bit of a problem in the campground, but town is fun to visit.
Nice, lots of cars but 3 of the 4 picnic tables were free. Quaint and close to Fort Langley downtown
Great place to go for a walk, or put into the river for a little paddle
Pricey for a campground, but extremely well run. Lots of activities and themes throughout the summer. There is a small swimming pool, general store and a play area for the kids. With the river close the mosquitoes can be bad in the summer …
A nice area and easy walk, but not recommended right now due to the high water level warnings. The abundance of water flooding into various areas of the island is resulting in a huge boom of mosquitoes. You won't make it past the picnic areas before you're being eaten alive.
A great neighbour park to walk around. By Fraser River, you can enjoy water and the views.
We love Brae Island! In warm weather, we take a picnic lunch or dinner to the beach and the kids play in the water, build sand castles and have a great time. All year round, the path out to Tavistock Point is accessible for walking or …
My kids loved doing a summer camp there. Not that much to do for a day visitor.
There are so many great parks around don't waist your time on this one.
Once easy walk with views of the river!
Nice easy walk...
Great place to let your dog run. Not so sure in the summer when there's more people.
Great easy trails to walk and close to Fort Langley for a visit after.
I enjoyed this beach! It’s a great beach to cool off, go for a dip, and enjoy time in the sun with friends and family! Lots of beach space, and it’s also in a good location right near Fort Langley! Check this place out if you would like to go for a swim, or even have a picnic!
Nice walk on the island especially beautiful around the fall time
We have been going to this lost Paradise as a family for over 5 years. I had been to Fort Langley a million times before but never really looked across the river. …
Its a great/ easy walking for kids. Was really busy on a sunny day.
Love brea island great place for a swim and a short walk to get some great food love this area ????
A cool experience and a great place to camp and fish
Love this place going back again 3rd year
Maybe because we went there after rain, but this place is Masquito Hell. Millions of them! I was forced to turn back after enduring them for 1km.
Nice quiet trails through the woods with some views of the Fraser River.
Beautiful scenery. Lots and lots of cottontail rabbits. Had a lovely walk.
Easily accessible from the town of Fort Langley, and walking distance to shopping and food. Well-groomed walking trails along the Fraser River. Appeared to be a busy campground; many RVs. Also my walk was in the evening and the flies were thick, so repellent is a must for anyone bothered by insects.
Clean sites, very friendly staff. Great trail access and really cool views of the river. Not a fan of proximity to the public walking paths. Teenagers jumping fences , etc. Trains are a bit loud but add to the charm. Really good local spot.
Just a beautiful place too rest a smell the fresh air
Great family area by the Fraser River. Easy access for picnics, bike riding, walking and bird watching. Level area with lots to look at all year round. There is a nice picnic area and a RV park here with a shared walking and riding path that is wide and flat.
Very nice place. Right by the Fraser with great trails
Tons of mosquitoes flew around us
Great place to do your sani-dump.
My husband and I walked around Fort Camping in the Park, lovely place. We were checking out which camp sites we want camp on. Now just to schedule the time...
Great little place. Parking can be a challenge if you drive the island. Biking...no problem.
Can't get enough of this place. The Tavistock trail is a beautiful relaxing trail with easy signs to follow and the picnic areas are relaxing. At the entrance is a bathroom and it is well kept. When the tide is low, you can walk halfway around on the beach. The trails allow cycling as well.
Great walking paths, bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen. Can take a long or short walk (turn around when you want to go back). Can rent canoes during summer. Riverside Beach very silty but good for wading in. Dogs ok to go in the water, and poop bags/garbage bins available. Bathrooms on site.
Great
Easy to park. Nice clean washrooms that had a heater going...not really needed during the day but would be lovely early evening. The beachside is more clay like than sand...but that is cool. My girls and their friend played for hours in …
Trails along the picturesque river. Parking and washrooms.
Nice place for a quiet walk with some great views of the Fraser river.
Nice quiet place for a walk.
We visited to check out the campsite which is definitely 5*!!
The views were remarkable.
Nice dog and walking trails, lots of parking and beach access but the wate isn't the cleanest
Polar bear swim, sandy beaches, quiet area and a clean bathroom.
Never knew the sand along the river was so nice. Kids loved it.
Good RV park side with full service.
Enjoy the river on the trail or in the kayak. A kayak paddle was my choice today! Love our mighty Fraser!
One of my favorite places to stroll through taking pics at unset ????
I'm giving it a two because it's treated like a off leash dog park! Which is very unfortunate as I've seen places like this become a no dogs allowed area. It wouldn't be so bad if people kept their dogs under control but most don't.
Don't camp here. The place is beautiful but we literally got screamed profanity at for talking around the campfire past 10pm (not in the least obnoxious, we were discussing children in classrooms and public education). Also no campfires …
Beautiful place. Extremely peaceful and relaxing ????
Way too many mosquitoes and biting flies worth visiting. If you do bring extra strength bug spray.
Nice place down by the river for a picnic. My son went to a summer camp this year and had a great time.
Very nice and getting busy starting in May.
Scenic spot along the Fraser River, great for spending a quiet day in the sun ☀.
Love the staff and activities. Just like family here for winter camping
Nice quiet location! Easy walk into Ft. Langley!
A nice place to take the family for a walk. my kids loved it. very easy with a stroller. not very hilly, nice trees, nice sunsets
Great camping site. Been going there for yrs. Within walking to fort Langley town.
A beautiful park near Fort Langley with great trails that take you to beautiful parts of the island near the river.
very nice location with a great view
Loved camping here. It's a great and clean camp ground with decent security. It has a convenience store, pool, and great walking trails. All around a very nice week visit!
Went here with the family and our dog. It was a great little walk along the river. Our dog went for swim in the river and loved it.
Nice walk through the park by the river
It's a clean park with lots of trails. You have the option of going down to the river or into the forest. There's lots of parking here and it's a great alternative for a quieter walk if …
Love this area for glamming!!!
Nice leisure walk, great for early morning fog and sunrise pics. Clean as well.
Fun place for a flat walk and river views! Dog area as well! Good views :)
I love going for walks here with my hubby and dogs, Twix and Reese. Such beauty so close to home.
Very neat. Place to visit
Easy walk down to the point and great addition to playing tourist in Fort Langley. Some trails do flood during the spring runoff so check with the signs. Some bugs also so may want to bring some bug spray. At Travistock Point you will be …
Wonderful place for an evening or Sunday afternoon walk.
Lovely spot to take a walk in all seasons. There's even a little beach just off the parking lot for hot summer days.
We really love going here for walks. It's so beautiful
Great place close to many shops and historic sites
A great walk or bike to the end of the island for really decent views. The 2-year-old loves wading here.
Beautiful trail to Tavistock point. Pretty views. There is a campground. It looks nice.
Great place to hangout with friends and the bridge is good to jump off of. Just watch out for wood floating under the bridge.
Well maintained trails. Not much shade.
Great quiet place for a little walk but HUNGRY mosquitos summer time though... new nice and clean parking lots
My favorite place to go if I have time. Nice place to go hiking, rowing
Great place to walk or bike. We'll maintained and very attractive.
For a school trip we did canoeing, fishing, and hiking. Great supportive staff and a fun day all around.
So much fun for kids. So many things to do.
I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't a strict campground setting. No campfires pretty much when the sun goes down. No mingling or meeting with barely anyone. Camping used to be fun and the atmosphere would be full of happiness and people …
Hiking trail viewpoints often are obscured by overgrown vegetation. Trail nice though but disappointing about the view points
Hard with the dog, dog friendly but people really take leashing seriously. My dog was ok sad not to be free running in the water but other dogs were pulling owners left right and center. The kids had fun but I was iffy about the water so I …
Beautiful with very nice scenic vistas
Lots of mosquitoes! Ouch!
I love this park and it's trails, only occasionally disturbed by very loud train whistles as they go by.
Too many mosquitoes. Not a pleasant time. I was visiting friends not camping.
Had a fun time here. Clean bathroom facilities.
Fun
Very beautiful and peaceful
Nice park. Very good trail to walk. Lost of birds to hear and see. Not for people who can not take a long en slippery road. You can park your car for free.
Nice trails and access to the river. Can be lots of mosquitoes depending on the year.
OMG it's a mosquito farm. Bring DEET
Beautiful hidden gem in Fort Langley. Clean, well cared for and great amenities
Beautiful camp ground. Walking distance to the town of fort langley. Town is filled with wonderful shops and restaurant's. Friendly staff and so well kept grounds. Highly recommend it ????.
Very nice hiking tail, we'll maintained and a great view of The Fraser... most enjoyable and accessible year round
Go down the canoe launch to sit and dip your feet in the water. Great place for to enjoy a snack and relax.
Not a lot of spots to sit and have a picnic. Nice that there are public (flushing toilets) washrooms. Tons of mosquitoes when there in July.
It was great minus the mosquitos
Nice short and easy hike. Plenty of parking.
River Side views near Fort Langly Village.
Don't stray off the walkway. Possible poison sumac/oak/ivy. Beautiful, easy loop trail near iconic Fort Langley.
Really nice walk along the river but DEET or jungle juice is a necessity. Lots of mosquitoes.
Great place for a short walk in the woods. The campsite is very good with flush toilets and hot showers!
Best part of Brae Island is the paddle trip around
It's alright. Washrooms are nice and clean and that's about it. It's one of the smallest regional park and nothing much to do for day-use. I prefer to head over to Derby Reach if you want to go hike.
Beautiful spot on Fraser River for a walk with nature.
Great place for a bike ride....very flat trails and no traffic. If you prefer you can sit by the riverside and read or relax.
Great little camp ground. There have a pool and a park and it's on an island auth nude paths. Bring bug spray though
Can be a little crowded by the beach when the tide is out but there are lots nice nooks and crannies for privacy. Overall good park with a lovely view and enough trails to keep it interesting.
I see a lot of people are complaining about the mosquitoes this is the first time the mosquitoes have gone all the way into July and it's only because we've had a really wet summer this year
Absolutely love this place. We booked all through the summer this year and it just keeps getting better! Very well run and they are always putting together fun activities for the campers to take part in! The staff are awesome!!!
This is a good place to swim in the Fraser river, maybe take your canoe or kayak. There's a beach and restrooms. There is also a camp ground attached which has an outdoor pool and a general store that sells ice cream by the scoop as well as other food items. The camp ground itself though is not so much for the privacy seeker, very open.
Flat ground and easy to follow trail. The mosquitoes were torture and they pretty much chase you in swarms.
Great place to park when visiting Fort Langley. Awesome view with picnic tables and grassy field for the kids to play.
Well run site organized and very calming arealy lovely experience will certainly visit again.
Anybseason of the year, this is a wonderful place to go for a hike. Be warned it can get muddy!! In the summer it is nice a shady but there can be some mosquitos out so bring some spray.... A great place to walk dogs or kids!!! There is a …
Worst place because of mosquitoes.... we ran out from the park
Great place for a easy walk. Views of the Fraser river are great.
We we we not aware that we have to park at one particular spot that half the park was closed didn't have internet no Wi-Fi very disappointed no cable
Definitely one of my favourite kid friendly campgrounds to go to! Clean, quiet and respectable neighbours. Thank you for having us, we’ll definitely come again!
Brae Island is a great place to camp. The campsites are large and clean. There are well maintained facilities and helpful attendants for any information you may need. The campsite is on the Fraser River with natural setting walks on either …
Nice place. The mosquitos really like it aswell. We didn't get along! I left!
Lovely park with campgrounds, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Campground roads were full of potholes but it appears that they are trying to fix them.
In the summer, mosquitoes are a torture. They are basically invincible. When you feel the sting, it’s basically too late.
Lot of spots open , no Riverview but a nice few minute walk
There needs to be geo caches
Nice camp ground and great walking paths along the river.
Haven't looked around enough to know everything about this park but has a camping ground and water nearby.. Good for family weekend get away.
Too many mosquitoes! I went for a walk and got chased out by mosquitoes. Came back with 30 bites. Will never go back there again.
Easy trail to walk on.
Busy place ...picnic tables great for a fam bbq
