We had the Great Divide Tour yesterday and we had such an amazing time. The weather was perfect with beautiful sun, blue sky and fresh snow. Megan and her dogs put all of their heart and effort to offer the best experience to their guests. The dogs are very well taken care of, and Megan has a word to describe every single one of them and their personality. The scenery was also gorgeous, with beautiful views on the mountains. It wasn't my first experience going dog sledding in Canada but it was definitely the best one ! Go for it !!!

This was an amazing experience! The guides were knowledgeable and the dogs were super friendly. We had such a lovely time riding deep into the woods - everything was so pristine and beautiful :) I highly recommend taking a tour with this company if you can!

We had the Great Divide tour today. 2 sleds, our dog sled tour guides were amazing. It was such a breath taking experience. One check off our bucket list. Worth every penny. The Alaskan huskies were full of energy, and those dogs definitely left paw prints in our hearts. Thank you Megan and your team. ????????

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time on the Narnia Tour in February 2020. We spent a weekend away in Banff for my 18th birthday and dogsledding with Kingmik Dog Sled Tours was the highlight of our getaway. The dogs are well taken care of and very friendly. The amazing team was so kind and informative and really worked well with their dog team! We highly recommend this Kingmik and think everyone should try our dogsledding when visiting Banff! Our group had so much fun. Mushers were fabulous and Megan gave us lots of great information before hand. The dogs were well mannered and well looked after. Such a great group of people and dogs. The whole experience is just amazing. Quick introduction before We got into the sleigh and off we go. Views are simply breathing and the guide has a lot of great info of the area. We had a 3 year old child with us and he loved the dogs and the sleigh ride.

From the moment we started talking to our guide Jared, it was incredibly evident the care, passion, and dedication that goes into each dog and their relationship with their musher. Jared answered any and all questions we had about the dogs, Banff, how he got into mushing, etc. We'd highly recommend a Kingmik tour to anyone who visits the Banff/Lake Louise area!

A wonderful experience. As a dog owner, I was very impressed with how healthy and well trained the dogs were. The guides were very happy to tell us all about their selection processes, care of their dogs, and adoption process when they retire. It was clear the dogs were very happy and well loved. The tour itself was picturesque and very enjoyable. Worth the price, for sure.

My absolute favorite part of my BANFF trip! Surreal experience. The dogs were sooo adorable and happy (loved watching them reach out their heads to cronch on snow during their run). Guide was awesome, views were UNREAL. So peaceful. The only disappointment was saying goodbye! Wish I could be out there every day. :)

From the midst of covid doom and gloom in the UK we were so lucky to have the memories of our fantastic trip along the great divide trail with Kingmik to look back on.The scenery was spectacular but what made the experience special was the joy radiated by the Musher, James, while working with his dogs.All the dogs seemed happy and well cared for and obviously relished running on the trail.We had a chance to drive the sled which was exhilarating while James gave us a knowledgeable and fascinating commentary on his dog team and other local fauna.If only we could be there now!.I would thoroughly recommend this trip with Kingmik to anyone who wants their spirits lifted.

The tour is great, and the dogs are happy bundles of energy. But it is cold so dress warm. They do provide a sleepi g to cover yourself with but your face and hands will be exposed so dress for the weather. Getting to the trailhead was easy and parki g is available. Note if staying at the Fairmont they have a shuttle. After the ride, you give the doggos so.e snacks and take pics 100 percent recommend the ride and hope to do it again so day.

We love Kingmik so much, we adopted one of their retirees! We sledded with the team 2 years in a row, fell in love, and brought a sweetie home this last February to join another husky at home. This team is incredible, the dogs and humans :) the scenery is beyond breathtaking, and you will not regret this once in a lifetime experience (that I highly recommend you do MORE than once)!

We had an absolute blast on our tour. We had big grins under our masks the whole time. We would do it again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone. The views are spectacular, but the people and the dogs will melt your heart. Whether you consider Banff National Park as your backyard or come from afar this experience is a must-do before the season ends. Thank you so much, Megan, can't wait to do it again.

Fantastic experience. Our driver & guide Kylie and Megan were extremely nice and kind. Scenary from warm sled is A experience. It was -25 degrees but it was ok. Do bring ski outfits, boots, and goggles.

This is the BEST dogsled tour company! I've been with others and Kingmik far surpasses its competitors. It is the only dogsled tour operator in Banff National Park, with incredible views, amazing knowledgable staff, and well cared for dogs. This company travels a full 16km on their 1.5 hr Great Divide Tour and they only take out 4-6 sleds at a time; at times you feel like you're the only one out on the trail. The dogs are the star of the show and LOVE their job! Lots of opportunity to play with the dogs. I would highly recommend this experience.

My husband and I had several companies to choose from and we choose Kingmik because we wanted the experience of going to Lake Louise to do the sledding. I'm so glad we choose to go with them. Megan, our guide and the owner of the company, was just amazing! We were late getting to the meet up spot due to ski traffic but because we called ahead she waited for us. ???? The dogs we so eager to off and running that they were just so busy but as soon as we got onto the trail they were all business! It was so quiet on the trail away from all the bustle of the ski hills and the scenery was breathtaking! Megan shared a brief history of dog sledding in the area and made friendly conversation. I am so glad that we choose to go with Kingmik Dog Sledding and would tell anyone who is thinking of going dog sledding to pick them! During this crazy Covid Christmas I'm happy to support small businesses in Alberta!

My sister and I went on this tour and everything was amazing! The dogs’ excitement was contagious and it was a joy to see them so happy to run through the wilderness. We did the Narnia trail and with the morning light coming through the trees, it felt like we really were in another fairyland. It was such a special way to take in the breathtaking Lake Louise landscape. Our guide was so kind, funny and sweet, and answered the million questions we had. So worth it! It fulfilled a dream I didn’t know I had. Made this trip so much more special!

We were fortunate to experience Kingmik Dog Sled Tours on New Year's Eve 2019. I have been a travel agent for nearly 20 years and this is without doubt one of the most magnificent experiences I have been able to share with my family. The feedback I had received from clients visiting Banff/Lake Louise was that this was an absolute must and that Kingmik were the best in the business so was keen to experience myself. The team was personable, knowledgable and showcased how beautiful the area is and how much the dogs loved what they do! Don't miss it!

This is the BEST excursion we have ever done!! (I keep talking about it and showing all my pictures). We had an amazing time. I am so sorry I forgot our guide's Name but he was wonderful. I do remember a dog by the name of Garnet and Holly. The dogs are AMAZING!!!! The whole experience was AMAZING I do recommend you dress warmly Parka, snowpant use TOE AND Handwarmers. It is really cold. We used them and we were really comfortable.

Quite frankly one of my favourite family outings...ever. First of all you will fall in love with these dogs within minutes of meeting them. In an hour we were able to see their personalities emerge as they dashed through fresh mountain snow. Our guides, James and Cynthia, filled our inquiring minds with fabulous Alaskan Husky knowledge and left us craving more. We were so awe struck by the speed, power, and endurance of these animals. Amazing. We’d do it again in a heartbeat! (We fell in love with Velo, a sweet 6 year old girl who is retiring.)

My wife an I took a "babymoon" to visit Banff National Park in the middle of February. Some would say this was absolutely crazy with a fully pregnant woman and snowy treacherous mountains. We enjoyed the Spa at Banff Lake Louise and spent time taking short walks around in the snow. But our favorite activity was with Kingmik Dog Sled Tours!! They took us on a magical ride to the great divide! The experience couldn't have been more perfect and safe. My wife loved the dogs, she just wanted to stay all day and pet them and get loving from them. The tour guide held great convo and was very informative. Id do anything to see these pups again and to go on a run.

Amazing experience! Completely worth it. Scenery is beautiful, and the team guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can even ride on the back of the sled for part of the ride - or you can stay nice and warm inside the sled if that's more your thing. Don't forget your camera as there are lots of photo opportunities. If you're staying at the Chateau Lake Louise, it's a short and easy (and well marked) walk right to where it starts. Definitely an experience I'll remember for a long time!
