The Great Divide Trail is a grate place to go for cross country skiing. You are skiing on groomed trail in between beautiful snow covered trees in the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park.

During the winter, this is one end of the popular Great Divide cross country ski trail. Usually one of the first trails to be track set in the Canadian Rockies so the parking lot is great for accommodating all of the early season skiers. From here, it's around 10km to the other end, which also serves as parking lot for access to Lake Ohara.

Went out for the first time this season. Lots of snow, groomed and track set trail. It was really great considering there is no snow anywhere around Calgary.
