Lovely gardens! So well maintained. Many come for pictures here from weddings to graduation groups. There was a lady taking pics with a photographer of her dog last week who was very upsetting however. The photographer stepped right into the garden bed, not caring that she was trampling plants just to get a better position to take a picture of the dog. Then the lady leading the dog allowed the dog to trample right over another garden bed. It was utterly disrespectful on so many levels. Typically parkgoers are respectful of the grounds, but there's always one or two that are oblivious of anything but themselves.

I looove the gardens! For me its a great place to stop and smell the flowers (literally!) while playing pokemon go with my husband (who hates walking but loves walking here!!). This is through no fault of the gardens, but because of its public access I have seen a lot of trash being discarded among the gorgeous flowers. Guys, PLEASE STOP LITTERING!!! There is zero excuse... not even "forgetting" to pick up your coffee cup. Be responsible so that amazing places like this continue to be free and open to the public.

Beautiful gardens! : they always have a variety of different flowers in a variety of colors, plants of different kinds, old and tall trees, 4 beautiful fountains not for swimming but beautiful for looking at and throwing in a wishing penny, Well taken care of! : the grass is always nicely green and mowed for having a picnic or walking your dog through, garbage bins are used by those traveling through but never over flowing also recycling bins are offered sometimes. Great and friendly staff! : I have had my own Rockway Gardens card since i was very young the staff are always kind and talkative. They have sales for seeds and plants in the spring and are very helpful with names and selections Great place for wedding photos, prom photos, or any kind of fancy or casual photoshoot!!

Nice park for Kitchener with garden beds, oak trees, a nice small bridge with a blue man made water body with some fountains. There are some historical plaques around. Lots of cement type benches to sit on. Road parking is available here. There are about 3 water fountains with dragon type heads.

Beautiful place to sit, relax, walk around, and take photos. Has a ton of Pokestops and two gyms, but there's a lot more! I love their seasonal flowers, and how well it's kept. There's so many beautiful backgrounds for taking professional or amateur photographs. I've seen many people there for wedding photos, so keep that in mind if you or someone you know needs good scenery for their wedding party. Anyone playing Pokemon Go, please keep the gardens clean and park on the correct side of the road. There are fewer players than in the early summer, but it's important to keep this beautiful memorial garden enjoyable for everyone.

Visited in early December, and it was a bit mucky around the roadway. Would recommend visiting in summer when the fountains are running. It's a very busy Pokémon Go area with many Poke-stops, so mind yourself as you cross the road.

This is a beautiful local garden. There are multiple features like a pergola, fountains, small stream, waterfall, rock gardens, formal gardens, informal gardens, ponds, and specimen trees. There are also some poke stops and gyms. This is good place for a short walk with some wheel chair access, a picnic, quiet contemplation, reading in a beautiful setting or photos.

This is a beautiful park with ample parking lots of scenic areas to take photos I've been to a few wedding parties here and it has always been a great decision. This park is a very nice spot for taking a lesiurely stroll through the garden and fountains it is very calming and relaxing. It is also a very ideal location for AR games such as Pokemon Go as it has multiple stops and gyms to play at. Once a month you will find this park bustling with players during a special event and it's a great place to meet up with new and old friends.

When i was a little kid my dad use to take me here with my mom and we use to explore the entire area. My dad is a huge flower dude and couldn't stop loving it, ever day we went i felt like i saw the flowers grow as i did when i was young. I just recently went back here after 20ish years and it still amazed me. The only thing is that all the water was non existent, that threw me off. But other than that i really enjoyed it there. Cant wait to go back and have a special moment with my significant other.

The gardens and lawn are well kept and manicured. The way the flowers are planted and blossoming suggested that a lot of thought went into planning and planting the many different flowers. The blooms are mixed nicely and professionally planted and organized - well, they have a website and offers advice. It's a nice place to have a picnic and hang out with others.

Rockway is a garden and park like setting in Kitchener Ontario. I go for a walk to see tulips in May. There are different flowers in one section, trees throughout the park and some water fountains, benches to sit on and an open gazebo to sit under. Nice for taking Wedding pictures.

Rockway Gardens is a pleasant and beautifully calming place to take a stroll through. It's marred only by graduation / prom photos and Pokemon Go lurkers. One of my personal pet peeves is during one of the above gathering events is that people park on both sides of the road and it's I possible to get through. I almost wish they'd remove the road and reconfigure the park to accommodate the new space. I think this park despite the complaining I have done here, will be one of the things I miss most about the K/W area. It has been a favourite spot of family to take walks. Be sure to watch out for their sales as they sell bulbs / flowers periodically :)

I just adore this little treasure. I especially enjoy the serenity, an beauty of this place. This is one place I don't want to listen to music. I like to take in the sounds from the waterfalls and the birds and the wind. It's my go-to place. Just to get away, or to run away from the chaos in my life.

Rockway Gardens used to be the old bus terminal years ago Bernie Fitzgerald used to be a barber in there Rockway Gardens is also a great place for wedding receptions for pictures also they used to parkthe city transit bus across the street before it was moved to Duke Street have a great day everybody

Great little park in Kitchener. The gardens are beautiful. The layout superb. There are many different types of gardens here and the rock gardens a gem. There are no ball fields or picnic areas here, it is a quiet peaceful place of relaxation. A lot of wedding photo shoots are done here to take advantage of the beautiful gardens. Unfortunately there is no washroom in the park, something that it should have.

Beautifully maintained gardens. Events like grads and weddings are not uncommon, definitely worth visiting. The local Ingress and Pokémon Go players are respectful of the flowers as well not stomping over everything.

I love Rockway Gardens. Its beautiful in the late spring all the way through to early fall. Lots of great places to take pictures and a neat hidden away area with benches on the cliff side of the park that you can get to only by the somewhat hidden stairs.
