Currently undergoing a lot of renovation in general and hence our this visit was not as enjoyable as last fall. Animals though are very happy and welcoming. Kids will definitely love feeding them green leaves and taking pictures. They do have a peacock as well.

I love this little zoo. It's a great place to bring young children. They really enjoy seeing the goats, sheep, miniature horses, donkeys, and llamas, the peacocks, and chickens. There is nice little playground perfect for preschoolers. Lots of shade for summer days.

Visit here if you want an insight into Canada's stunning wildlife!!! There aren't many animals or birds, but the ones there are undoubtedly worth visiting!!!

Great space to bring kids and friends to see the animals. Remember do not feed them. They are on special diets and can become sick with the foods people bring to feed them.

Sometimes the animals are not there. They seem mostly happy/content but they would be better off in a sanctuary as lots of traffic comes through here and they are caged after all. There's a spot for pigs, donkeys, llamas, zebus, various birds, sometimes bunnies.

Lots of animals to see (free!) and great place for a walk. Even in the winter time, sometimes some of the animals come out for a bit too, including the cute miniature horses!! Free parking available.

A large park suitable for families and accompanying children, there are some games and the park contains some pets inside the cages and you can barbecue inside the park and there is a large parking lot, and the park is always maintained in cleanliness I recommend visiting it

Its nice to see animals at times but i wish animals had more space. The poney and the donkies had a very small area, the peacocks had next to no room. The llamas had an ok amount of room at best and their encloser was the largest. The lack of space for these animals will cause boredom and its just bad for their mental health. (The llamas seemed pretty happy but the donkies seemed very bored.) I would have also liked to see more information about the types of animals being kept and why.

Great park with animals and playgrounds. There is a pond with ducks and Canada geese. There are llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, donkeys, mini horses, peacocks and silkie chickens to see. I wish they still had the rabbit enclosure though! The playgrounds are a good size and smaller so they're safe for young children (18 months - 4 y/o). Great little slides and ladders for young children. Hard to find playgrounds in the city that are accessible and a safe size for young ones. Splash pad is closed now but looking forward to the new one opening hopefully soon off of Father David Bauer Drive near the skate park.

Love bringing the kids here, the park is good times watching all the kids have fun. lots of field for picnics with friends and family or throwing a ball around, splash padis great for keeping the kids cool on hot days, and feeding the geese is always fun.

Cute little place to go for a walk in the park. Great place for a Family picnic or just ice cream on a bench. The animals are cute but hang inside in the heat of the summer. Their cages are small. It’s old and needs updating but it is what it is. Like the splash pad which is under renovation this summer I was told. Just Enjoy it! Ice cream and coffee 12-8 pm

What a nightmare. Couldn't find it, no road goes to it. You have to walk through the park blindly. No parking, all the university students take it. The southern side of the park has parking, but no trails connect it with the other side. I gave up after 45 minutes of driving in circles. Very, very disappointed.

We have made Waterloo park part of our daily morning walk. It's such a nice place to sit, relax and watch the animals. I am excited to see what is planned for the upcoming renovation.

Out of towner looking to treat the kids. Splash pad is in dire need of a coat of paint. Parks were fun gardens are beautiful. PARKING SUCKS For a park this large and so many people there needs to be more allowed parking. The picture included is a 1/4 of the cars parked along the road. I ended the day with a $25 parking ticket with no others in sight. Stopping on Private property.... thought it was the parks road. Won't be going back any time soon. Such a shame.

Is really small...no many animals. We barely saw 3 ..i was hoping a little bigger. I went with my baby hoping he can see some bunnies or other animals. We just saw some llamas and peacocks..that it.

There are peacocks, llamas, pot bellied pigs, miniature ponies, and other animals to see. This is not a petting farm and no feeding or petting of the animals are allowed. Sometimes, the animals are not visible as they are resting in their shelters, but there are usually enough animals out and about to keep the kids entertained. Good for about 20-30 minutes as another activity if you're already in the park. There's lots of shade around, which is nice in the summer months.

Its a nice little treat to be able to see a few beautiful animals in the middle of busy waterloo. But by no means is it amazing. Waterloo is a fantastic park tho. Alot of beautiful photo opportunities, a splash pad which the kids seem to enjoy and the little park they have is nice. Also a little store you can buy snacks at that's a plus. But if your going there just to see the animal don't plan to be there all day.
