This park is a wonderful part of our community. I have been hiking and walking around this park for about 20 years... with my dogs, my children, on my own. It has baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, a splash park, picnic tables, woods, trails, a children's playground. And then there's the wonderful community centre in the middle of it all.

We are attending swimming lessons in this place for my 9 year old son! The facility is good, swimming pool warm enough and the staff is really friendly and accommodating! There are a few more activities going on as well. The swimming lessons are 45 m for beginners and the price is really affordable! Thank you and keep it up please!

Splash pad is great, but not too large. Has a nice big feild that is tree lined with lots of available shade. Has public washrooms, swings, play structure and lots of picnic tables for setting up your stuff. The hiking trails around here are great too! Mostly shaded, but lots of hills.

Decent park for right near the highway. I recommend going near the creek as it drowns out the noise of the highway, no pun intended. Can be a but muddy in the spring. Lots of dogs about too which is a nice bonus. Trails are well established and there is a dog park nearby. Also seemed popular with the birding community!

Very disappointed with lack of help in directions from breithaupt centre parking lot to the actual enchanted light area , had anyone directed us, we could have parked on the road and been able to walk the entire light course. Having to walk in the dark and the rain through the unlit park and the streets caused us to have to cut the light show short to make it back to the car. Maybe signage or people to direct next year would help people with walking disabilities find a closer parking spot to the area where the lights begin. Even the police who tried to help were unable to guess the distance to help guide us.

It's tranquil. The trails are kept up. You can sit at the picnic tables and have lunch. There's adequate parking. The entrance and exit were switched some time ago. The entrance isn't salted in winter and you can't drive up the steep grade, should you wish to visit in winter.

Recent landscape renovations are complete with new pathways, benches, bleachers and dug-outs for ball players at diamonds 1 & 2. More fan friendly and easy to get around. Field conditions are always top shelf at Breithaupt Park. Now we need some tournaments!

This park brings back childhood memories. Although things have changed, it does provide lots of space for a picnic and a family get together. You will find swings, wading pool etc. In addition it's a great spot to go for a walk through the forest.

Great park with a sizeable trail system. Good for running, walking, and also mountain biking. There are a few steeper hills that present a decent challenge for mountain biking, but this would be more appropriate for an introduction to the sport. Other amenities include a good splash pad, playground, and picnic tables. Free parking on site. Great place to bring the family.

Used the picnic shelter for a family reunion. The city confirmed the washroom facilities would be open. They were never opened even after calling the city and them saying they would send someone. We were finally told half way through the reunion that they would not be opened and that they were not in good shape anyway. We were told to walk over to the Breithrupt Centre to use their facilities. Given there were seniors using walkers and canes in our group this was an unrealistic expectation. Don't tell people they can use the facilities and then not maintain them and keep them locked.

It was nice and quiet on a tuesday morning at the splash pad..but bring bug repellent there are a few mosquitos. Splash pad isnt as elaborate as other splash pads but it dedinitly still entertains the kids..lots of shade too which is good for hot days. There is also a small park too.
