This park provides enough of a space for locals and visitors to the area a rest location to enjoy and take in the view of the lake. There is a beach area for people and pups, a 2way lanes pathway that is shared with bikes, a skate park, some interesting Canadian history, small dog park, fishing, washroom facilities and a food location by a local food truck company. We visited on a Sunday summer evening and felt that there was enough time for a peaceful walk along the pathway and so happy that we did so that our dog could have a short play in the water with us.

This location is great for picnic, bbq, and swimming. It has 2 courts with net for beach volleyball. Fan be used also for badminton. Small waterpark like play area for kids available.

First visit. Still a nice place to visit even in November. There's a small off-leash dog park. Lots of benches. Skate park. Didn't make it as far as the playground but it looked good from a distance. Nice views of the bay in a quiet setting. Looking forward to checking it out seasonally.

Fun place for your kids in the summer. would be great if they actually had CCTV cameras like the signs say. Half the water sprayers don't work or are turned off. No lights at the park once it gets dark. Park is unfinished in some parts, not well kept.

A fun park by Okanagan Lake. Great for walking, biking, or inline skating on the sunshine. This is what sunny Penticton is about, lounging in the summer sun with quick dips on the lake to keep cool.

Beautiful park! Lots of trails for walking, jogging, biking. Picnic pavilion also, and lots of grassy areas to lay down a blanket to relax. Runs beside 12 Mile creek and the escarpment. Nice views!

Best park for smaller children as it never gets wet and swampy even when it rains that same day. If you love bike riding the trails are immediately beside this park. There is only one swing however and none for toddlers, but we always have fun here and it also has soccer fields beside it as well as picnic tables for lunch or snacks.

Great place to kayak in the city, but it's getting really crowded on weekends Sometimes there is no parking...then we know the dock/put in will be crazy busy and will need to wait in line to get into the water The dock is nice though, recently replaced and has a ladder Small playground is great for young kids, seems to be popular place to fish and there are also places to BBQ and a large, wooden sheltered area

Rotary Park is on the West side of the Albert Street bridge and is an extension through residential area of Wascana Park. The bbq or fire pit and park area make for a quiet place to enjoy a hotdog with families. P.S. because the park is behind the houses off of Regina Avenue - its a well kept secret! The walking path offers benches and wonderful areas to soak in nature anytime of the year. The path is great for walking, running or cycling. A suspension bridge links the south side of the creek to the north side. There are so many great character homes in the area. The pathway continues along the creek.

Lovely place to go for a walk, thankfully there's less dog mess than in the off-leash section but it' still such a shame it's so prevalent. There are a few benches dotted around but they're quite far apart from the point of view of someone with walking limitations. This park would definitely benefit from more benches and more trash cans/bins.

Rotary Park is a small, quiet, park along the linear park system in the alley paralleling McGill Blvd from Nicholas Sheran Park to Acadia Road. There is a small playground here, with three benches close by. There is a paved area around the playground area. A cement pathway goes through the park. To the SW, Trinity Park is about two blocks away followed by Queens Park and then Nicholas Sheran Park. To the NE, the pathways opens onto Acadia Road. There is a nice grassy area at the North end of the park. Following the path North then West, the path leads to Rotary Brook Park.

A very small but usefull boat lanch for canoes and kayaks. This is a great spot to kayak because the current isnt noticable. If you kayak down river, you go under a bridge than end up at a lake. I enjoy kayaking through the trees.

A beautiful summer evening watching the Snowbirds amazing performance, taking in the bright lights of the midway, people strolling along the promenade and enjoying the first rate live music at the outdoor concert. I know I'm missing many other places that are showing off Penticton and her charms. I see so many happy friendly people out there! Good job Penticton (and many thanks to David Kampes' vision of showcasing all that Penticton and the Okanagan Valley has to offer).

The trail on the Rotary Drive side near the stream is much more interesting. There are off leash areas with clear signage but each visit I encounter dogs outside the off leash area with the selfish owners not having their dogs on a leash but just letting their pets run freely. My little dog is frightened of these larger dogs because he has been attacked in the past. On the Membertou side of the park, there are often Quads / 4-wheelers zooming up and down the trails illegally, which is dangerous for walkers. Definitely worth a visit. There are benches and maps located throughout the park.
