Parks are complex elements of a city. They can serve scores of different uses, may be specialized in their function, or can simply provide visual appeal for residents. However they work, they act to define the shape and feel of a city and its neighborhoods. They also function as a conscious tool for revitalization. Parks can stem the downturn of a commercial area, support the stabilization of faltering neighborhoods, and provide a landmark element and a point of pride for constituents. For all these things to happen, the city needs to be open and aware of parks' potential to spur revival, and support the elements that are needed to make that happen.

Park is old and sees minimal maintenance. The 6 tennis courts on the east end of the park are very uneven and covered with deep cracks. Some of the worst tennis courts throughout Kingston. There is large green spaces for soccer, dog walking, etc. The children playground is outdated and small.

It's a fine place to play baseball, but not much else is there.

The childrens playground equipment was taped off for lockdown. The tape was severed and the playground was littered with empty bakery boxes. The steps of the equipment was covered in broken glass. People who do this are a disgrace. I cleaned up the glass and litter and removed the remnants of tape, as it was no longer serving it's purpose, and used it to fashion into a brush to clean up the smaller glass shards. I took no photos because, as I was doing this, it started to pour rain.

Lots of grass to play in, playground, baseball diamond, soccer field, tennis courts, a bit of shelter and garbage cans. Beautiful park!

Easily accessible, beautifully lawned fields and adequate facilities necessary to improve one's physical activities in any urban place. The kids have fun at this park always.

(Translated) The park is being renovated. There is parking on the Bayridge side. Due to covid only 2 tennis / badminton courts were open. The adult baseball field is fine, but the kids' baseball field in the back is in need of touching up. There is also a location for soccer. There is easily confusion between the part of the field and the school facility towards the back of the park and to its right at the back, the baseball field alongside the residence, according to the gps is the property of the school. This park is good and there are some benches for non-sporty people at the bottom of this side of the islet for children; 0). (Original) Le parc est en voie de rénovation. Il y a un parking côté Bayridge. Dus a la covid seulement 2 terrains de tennis / badminton étaient ouverts. Le terrain de baseball adulte est bien, mais celui pour les enfant au fond est en besoin de retouches. Il y a aussi un emplacement pour le soccer. Il y a facilement confusion entre la partie du terrain et installation scolaire vers le fond du parc et a sa droite au fond, le terrain de baseball le long des ŕésidence, selont le gps est de la propriété de l'école. Ce parc est bien et y a quelque banc pour les non sportifs au fond de ceĺui-ci côtés de l'îlot pour les enfants ;0).

Tennis courts are shockingly bad. A sign is posted stating they'll be resurfaced as two tennis courts and for pickleball courts this summer. I look forward to that happening.
