I'd give it a 5 if the beach actually had sand and was taken care of for the members who use it. I love the idea of it on the base but no one uses it because of this.

Used to be a beach here but it's been completely overgrown by grass and weeds. Three Beach used to be called 'Dead Man's Bay'. The water park is a nice addition at the top of the hill by the KMFRC.

Nice small beach just outside Kingston. It's on a military base and I somehow think as civilians we should not have been there, that it is for military personel and their families. There was some signage near the beach to that effect. But nothing on the entire way through the base so by the time we got there and parked and walked to the beach area and then saw the signage, we figured we would stay. It was fine, no one said anything and didn't seem that anyone cared. We had a very pleasant time. Nice grassy area to sit and nice stmosphere. Thank you Canadian forces for your hospitality

"Beach" isn't exactly accurate - you can get in the water but the swimming area is very very very small. More of an ok park

Unaltered by people, my family loves it there. Be warned: no life guards and depending on who was there before you there could be some garbage but it is still an amazing spot to take your family on a weekend.

Cute little stop along the water. Lots of picnic tables to sit at or stones to dip your toes in. Bathrooms are open!

Beautiful, quiet little park. There is a beach which is lovely, but can be a little rocky. There is also a playground and access to the water for boats. Highly recommended, especially for kids.

The beach is cool, there is a sand beach and a pebble one too. The bbq posts are old and worn but the green space is gorgeous. There is a creek that runs into the water, a play park for the kids, and a newly renovated change room open during the day in summer. Just an awesome place. It is on the military base so it is a pretty safe and secure area to enjoy with the kids.

Love this beach are near the yacht club at Arrow head. There is a nice area to relax and the water is pretty shallow for a bit, so it's prefect for the kids. Plus, PSP offers free kayak and paddle board rentals for an hour to military members and their families.

This seems to be cute but was not able to enjoy it as this is currently restricted for general people. Members of defense, police, veterans... are allowed. There is a signboard for this. They are saying this is due to covid-19.

Just under the water inside the bay You will find a surprise if you swim out to the buoy and look around! Dont mind the weeds and grass, theres nothing that will hurt you.

Such a nice beach. A small hidden gem in Deadman's Bay that's restricted to the general public, although I'm sure nobody would stop a non defense member from enjoying what the beach has to offer. Unlike other local beaches, this has lots of sand. It also has a hidden waterfall which pours icy cold water into the otherwise warm cove. People bring their dogs and kids here, so don't expect peace and quiet, but it hasn't been too loud either when we've been there. Absolutely recommend this for a small family to enjoy some relaxing time at the water!

Clean, 2 separate, small sandy beach areas. Military ID gets free kayak/paddle board rental. Dog friendly, several BBQ stations and picnic tables. Playground and splash pad nearby. Free entrance and parking.
