One of my favorite parks in the city of Winnipeg. Well kept, newer, modern facilities, Kildonan Park is a great place to and relax and take in the surroundings. It can get crowded during the day in summer, but has excellent facilities for all ages. Recommend checking out Kildonan Park at least once in your life.
Very nice! You can drive around the entire park and park anywhere along the way, get out and enjoy the scenery. I'll go back there again.
Can't figure out why they removed all of the parking near the okay structures?
Such a lovely place of beauty and community. Located just off main street but once your inside the park you feel your miles away from the city. A very fun filled peaceful park with a deep respect for nature.
We went for a beautiful walk
Great park for wedding parties at the very least. It was pleasant this fall, the leaves and trees were very nice and the place was not too busy.
I can't wait to take my son to the splash pad their. Rainbow theatre is great. I've been to two musicals so far it's exciting.
Always loved going to KP! Well maintained, and a relaxing place to go to.
A beautiful well manicured city park, nestled in the heart of North Kildonan. A lovely park to picnic, see a live performance at Rainbow stage, have lunch at the Prairies edge, swimming in the summer and fishing too!
Beautiful Day @ Kildonan park
Huge park, has everything in it. Beautiful spots for families
Always a well kept park. A nice loop so a walk doesn't need to feel like backtracking. (idk if that means anything for anyone else, but it means a lot for me..) Jogged around it once. It's almost exactly 2kms around the walkway along the road.. at least that's what my below-average cartography skills tell me. Best park in the city (firepits, open fields for sports, picnic tables, volleyball courts, gardens, ponds, a restaurant, public bathrooms, all the good stuff).
Amazing place to spend the afternoon just enjoying the out doors. best make sure you stop and check out the witches hut.
Lots of open space. BBQ area. Picnic tables. Green space. Kids play structures are awesome. Pool is there is you want to swim. Lawn bowling. Roller blade walk path. Big open fields for any kind of activity. Plenty of free parking!
Always a classic place to ride bicycle or take a walk....either solo or with friends or family.
I took a family new to pegcity to the park today, They loved it! Their little 3 year old loved it too. Good experience for all.
Absolutely wonderful park. Great place for summers. It has waterpark, kids swings and slides park, bbq and picnic areas, flower gardens, rainbow stage theater and a restaurant as well.
Good playground, good waterpark, good greenspaces. Of course, since everyone knows how great this park is it's usually very crowded.
Always a great place for a walk or a place to chill. Play structures for the kids if you happen to have any.
Beautiful park. Great to wander around, have a picnic, or get some sun! Check out the Witch's Hut, grab an ice cream or coffee from Prairie's Edge or come for an amazing meal. The perfect city park!
Probably the second biggest park in the city. Great for walkers, runners, bladers, cycling. Has a swimming pool and lots of space for picnics and games of frisbee.
Well maintained park. Great sliding and skating in the winter because of the heated area to put on your skates. They often have music and plays etc.. at the park as well.
Great park to go to. Lots of green space to relax in or have a picnic. Park has a walking path, swimming pool and restaurant
a park of happiness!
Attending a wedding. It was a beautiful day in the park.
Good place to spend couple of hours. in summer totally green. have play ground for kids. have washroom. have ducks and flower garden...
Very lovely place to picnic
You can go to a water park with a pool or you can just watch your children play at the playgrounds
Love this park for my kids.
Took the grandchildren to hide rocks that I found at work so that websites Winnipeg rocks hide four found 2. They played in the park. Besides being cold they had a very good time highly recommend this place
Big and beautiful park, great for walking, skating, biking, having picnic. There are few awesome playgrounds for kids and swimming pool during summer time. It is easy to reach by bus - the bus stop is 10 min walking from the park. It's also a place where you will likely find some painted rocks as many people hide them there.
Awesome park..beautiful beds of flowers..its very relaxing to spend a weekend with family or just simply spend quiet time reading book in the garden area just dont forget to bring some off lotion or spray to protect yourself from mosquitos..
Is always a great place to be. Sad see garbage everywhere as some people do not care.
It’s indeed a very beautiful and well maintained park. Beautiful flowerbeds, trees, ponds, bridges, playgrounds for kids and an amazing outdoor pool. I love the fact that there is enough washrooms all over the territory. I need to admit though that in the park of this size and popularity there are no water fountains. As we were explained, they were taken out due to the quality of water, but this issue has never been resolved.
Lovely park for pinics..... funtime with family and friends.....
Kildonan Park is a great place to visit. There is the walk around path, the river paths and the pool with turns into an ice rink when it freezes. …
Well maintained park with great paths to run, walk or board on. Lots of play areas for kids and a lot of open field space for activities.
A nice park with a lot to offer, however, there seems to be more time spent enforcing parking than cleaning the garbage around the playground.
Not as big as Assiniboine Park and often overshadowed by it, this is honestly my favourite park in Winnipeg. Tons of trees, picnic areas, fields, a restaurant, a skating rink/pond (depending on the season), an outdoor pool, play structures, toboggan slides and two notable attractions: the Witch's Hut and Rainbow Stage. In a very good area of town.
This park is the best park in Winnipeg. Great walks great pool, huge playground, place to eat and a theater.
The park is beautiful all year round and has accommodations that are pleasing to most people especially families...play places & washrooms!!
Very nice large park. Good for a picnic as well. Kid friendly it has 2 big slides
The park has a great walking path around the park. The flower gardens are very beautiful. The restaurant is very high class and staff arw very polite and helpful.
Very lovely park. Lots of beautiful flowers and trees. Even has a pool and waterpark! Haven't been to the pool yet, but I plan on going once pools open up again!
Beautiful and refreshing place to spend fun times with family.
Nice place for walking, jogging, cycling. Also nice skating ring during winter and convenient parking spots
Great park and it's close! Offers everything from a view of the river (even though it's disgusting) LOTS of trails and exploring, huge fields for sports, a little river through the middle of the park which freezes in winter so we can skate on it! parks, swimming pool, flower garden and much more!
Great public park with plenty of things to do for the whole family, duck pond, witches hut, multiple playgrounds and flower gardens, outdoor pool and splash pad, Rainbow Stage; a real treasure in the city!
Make sure to stop for ice cream or a fabulous meal at Prairie's Edge! The lights over the pond are beautiful. Love to see it in winter!
Best part of the park: walking thru it...the gardens, ponds, creek and the Red River.
Kildonan park is beautiful with the flowers the bike trail and they have a swimming pool / with water slides and splash pad anyone can have bbq and have family parties or gathering i live kildonan park great for any gathering.
Nice park ..great place to have meets and get togethers
The flowers are really nice this year.
Very lovely and green in summer and spring, nice and colorful in autumn, full of white snow I appreciatively like in winter
Great for kids! Bridges, duck pond, flower gardens, witches hut, three playgrounds, outdoor pool, toboggan slide, and Rainbow Stage. So much to do!
Beautiful century old trees provide shade and lots of child-friendly activities and structures. Someone pooped in the pool - but it looked like a nice setup. Lots of place to host a gathering/meetup.
Good place to visit with kids Huge area to go around.
Love this park have been going here for most of my life especially in the summer when the swimming pool is open and seeing performances from rainbow stage
A very nice place to visit.
Beautiful park! A favourite location for picnics, weddings, photo shoots, ice skating, dog walking, and family fun. Very well kept; always super clean (let's keep it that way!)
I love this place. It has everything: trails, beautiful gardens, playgrounds, ponds to watch ducks, road side walking for bikes and rollerblading, a golf course, swimming pool, theater. The list goes on. Wintertime skating and sledding. One of Winnipeg's high points for sure! Great to take the family for gatherings as well as there are multiple places to set up bbq and covered benched seating outdoors!
This park is beautiful. The paved trails take you amongst some very tall trees as it winds along the riverbank. There are many open spaces to play games or have picnics with friends and family. It boasts playgrounds for kiddos, ducks and …
My favorite park in the city. My childhood memories always comes out. The witches hut and the duck pond. They also have a great restaurant and burger place. Rainbow stage to watch stage shows. Beautiful outdoor pool with a snack area. You want a picnic they have lots of places to sit down.
Toddler friendly park. You can walk/jog, bike during summer and tobogan during winter. This is my go to park with my 4 yr old daughter.
A lovely place to go all year long, with friends and family or just by yourself. It has some wonderful paths and a great restaurant as well not too far from the witch's hut.
Nice park with a nice playground for kids of all ages. The witches hut is a favorite, you can purchase cracked corn to feed the ducks. Lots of painted rocked to find.
I loved the flower gardens and all the ducks are very cute!
Great walking paths. My little dog loves going there. Plenty of trash cans for picking up after your dog, and people actually do pick up after them. A nice family park where people say hi to you. A wonderful north end landmark. Plus it's a fun place to people watch. Nice picnic shelters too. Very popular.
A nice place to visit with family and friends most especially on summer time. Has an eatery in the middle and a man made lake with cute ducks
You can jog, walk with friends or family, play volleyball. There are benches sit either in the shade or Sun by the river. You can have a picnic here as well., for all ages.
Good park for picnics, biking, rollerblading, taking the kids to the playground. Also theirs a restaurant. Very nice.
I love to come here with the family all year round. There is so much to do. My only complaint would be that the pavement needs resurfacing as the road is falling apart making it hard to bicycle around.
I really love coming here with clients. We spend time at the park for the kids and there are lots of places to explore and hang out. However, I find the staff at the pool very rude, and the booking procedures are absolutely ridiculous, which is why it lost 2 stars.
Beautiful park but can get crowded thoug. ????
Beautiful park!! I had never been before!
Always worth a visit, witches and play ground are great free family fun. Dinner at food evolutions followed by a play at Rainbow stave is a great date night.(Summer).
Home to Rainbow Stage, the Witches hut, many paths, play structures, wildlife. Lots of little things to see and do around the park. Don't like that you have to pay for the splash pad. Seems silly seeing as the vast majority don't. The "hours" of the witch hut is 1-5 or so.. No kidding thats what the sign says. K cool but... if parents are working.. Not realistic. Also why? During the hottest parts of the day?? How about a dinner time witch? I've neve actually made it to see anyone in the hut.
Spacious. Clean. Great paths to walk. Swimming pool and splash pad is awesome!! Easy to get to.
Nice park especially in summer time
Beautiful park. Beautiful scenery. So many things to do! Its almost like we stepped back in time a little. Must check out the benches that they have dedicated to their patrons!
Beautiful place to take the pups for a walk. Or kids for a play in the park.
The Park was radiant today, trees are greening up nicely the air was fresh. Awesome day.
Nice place with family most for party or kids play. A lot tree nice too walk around and don't forget to bring mosquito spray????
Love coming to this park! It’s always so funny no matter how many signs they put up saying “walk facing traffic”, there is always that group of people walking in the middle of the road the wrong way. Make sure you point and laugh at those people!
Great place for the whole fam!
Lots of walking paths, a duck pond, witch hit, restaurant, gardens and rainbow stage. So many things to do here in a afternoon, plus the bike ride to the park is nice!
Enjoying the weather ... ducks out for a family swim.. ????
A pretty great park. Not up to Assiniboine parks excellence but a great spot for a walk or picnic
Beautiful place to walk through in all kinds of weather, summer time the pool is fun for the kids!
Beautiful park -year-round ! There is a tonne of open fields so you easily find a spot to relax or get together and pick a pickup game of soccer, frisbee or throw the football around! There is also easy-access to the park by bike down Scotia which is really awesome, too!
It's a very nice Park beautiful plants and flowers and beautiful animal Birds
Huge park filled with beautiful flower gardens ????, parks and swimming to take the kids, parking available, have a bar b que , many attractions to see and visit ????
It was a great little detour on our walk around the park. The pool & slides are a short walk away & excellent, lots of shade for picnics & relaxing & so much for the kids to do. Came Bach today with the littlies for the pool. What a great facility. Nice & lots of seats & tables. Packed a picnic & made a day of it. Great family fun. Noticed my spelling mistake. It’s also reasonably priced & wont leave you baroque. ????
Very nice park but lots of people and small to medium size gatherings as you would expect during Covid lockdowns. It has picnic tables and some firepits in some areas.
A beautiful park. I dont live in Winnipeg but every time I visit, I always make sure to go to Kildonan park. The flowers are beautiful the trees the ambient is relaxing and wonderful. I love it. If you live in Winnipeg or visit wpg, dont miss it. Go and see its beauty ❤
Love this place, the park is fantastic and well used.
Kildonan Park has always been the place to be if you want to spend time with family and friends in a safe and clean environment where you can either play ball, play on the kids play structure, go swimming or play in the splash pad, have barbeques, admire flower gardens and duck ponds, go for a leisurely walk and pay a visit to the witches or see a show at rainbow stage. Even just stopping in and driving through the park is a pleasure. In winter there are also things to do such as ice skating and tobogganing or going down the 2 very large ice slides. Many an event such as school activities, birthday parties and many other gatherings have been utilized the parks green space and numerous other facilities. I have been going to Kildonan park since a young child and so have my children and so have my grandchildren. Its a park where theres always something to do and it seems to please a person at heart year after year. It's a part of my childhood and adulthood to which I will always have fond memories as I'm sure many many others feel the same way. If you were privileged enough to live in the North West part of the city then Kildonan park was definitely a part of your life in one way or another. Thank you City of Winnipeg for the memories that will last a life time. Sincerely Nancy
It's was fun at Kildonan Park with my kids
I love this place. It has everything: trails, beautiful gardens, playgrounds, ponds to watch ducks, road side walking for bikes and rollerblading, a golf course, swimming pool, theater. The list goes on. Wintertime skating and sledding. One of Winnipeg's high points for sure! Great to take the family for gatherings as well as there are multiple places to set up bbq and covered benched seating outdoors!
Amazing place to be in nature. Lots of space, picnic tables/spots, washrooms. Has a cafe as well. Perfect for a day out!
Its a nice park. Very big and beautiful.
It's been great walking here lately
Went to see Mamma Mia at Rainbow stage, which was excellent! The park is beautiful parts of it run along the river and Golf Course. Pavilion has a nice restaurant there's a great pool for people to swim on hot days. Lots of space for walking bike riding or playing sports. There are also areas where you can go and have a picnic.
This is a very underrated Park! Beautiful walk, nice and short but lots to see and lots of nature to take in! I love going to this park.
Lots of things to do with small children. Play structures, sand boxes, switches house to mention a few. I like that they have the soft padding around the play structure.
Love this park. It is huge! Great for a walk, or take the kids to play on the play structure. Keep your eyes open...you may find a painted rock or two by an artist spreading kindness... #WinnipegRocks on Facebook or Instagram!
I have enjoyed many happy hours walking through Kildonan Park. And it's the perfect distance from my house for a nice long bike ride. Many people don't know that you can visit the park at night, not by car, all that they ask is that you keep to the lighted roadway.
Beautifuland well maintained park.
Great place to walk, run and play games
Love this park it is clean and beautiful. Many families use it often and dogs get to sniff a lot of great smells. My dog loves coming here.
Nice place to jog, drive around, to eat and drink bubble tea with friends
Nice place to jog, drive around, to eat and drink bubble tea with friends
Rainbow Stage is a hidden treasure in our own city. The talent that consistently comes across the stage is unbelievable. I had the pleasure of accompanying a school trip to see Strike the Musical and watching the kids was almost as good as watching the show. The only reason for a four star is the price of tickets. I understand they have bills, but to take a family of four is a big chunk of change.
A beautiful place for all the family. We always enjoy our time at it. You can spend hours walking in its wonderful trails anf gardens. It's well groomed and taken care off with great amenities.
It has several parking lots in and around the park. Has many seating tables … it is a very good option for family picnics and lunch dates.
Kildonan Park is worth to visit, the atmosphere around is peaceful, best place for children to play outdoors games. For families, it's an amazing place for picnic and whole can be spent nicely.
A beautiful park near the Red River. A stream runs through, and it features gardens, picnic areas, the Peguis pavilion, Rainbow Stage and the Witches Hut.
I grew up around the Park. Have alot of great Memories with Family & Friends. Was Married on the Foot Bridge in the Front Flower Garden 2006.
Lovely park. Has everything you need: pool and spray pads, restaurant, gardens, witch house, trails, volleyball/tennis/baseball courts, soccer field, play structures and more!
Nice park ! Busy place .. Wish it was bigger!!! Usually drive thru couple time a week !!
Great place for picnic or just an evening walk. Beautiful river by the side.
Family pictures!!!! Perfect spots in kildonan park
A very beautiful park with a lot of different flowers, cute bench and a little pond as well.❤️
My favorite park to go to for over a half century.
How about people stop walking on the city bike paths, or at the very least not take up the whole path and get angry when I bike goes by. The park has such serious management issues and I'll be using my vote this year to change that
Nice park with big trees and a witches hut.
One of the largest parks in the north of the city. There are several picnic sites, a newly renovated pool and a splash pad, outdoor playstructure, bike and walking pathways, a garden, a hut, a restaurant and an outdoor theater Rainbow stage. Parking is available.
Great Park inside the city. Very well organized and clean.
Love this park and it's always so pretty with the flowers
Great place to get away for a walk or just a drive
Summer or winter, spring or fall perfect place to enjoye by all. Walking, playing, skating, swimming and other sports enough room for everybody including dogs.
I love the park! It has nice view and good for walking exercises. There are a lot of things to do.
great scenery. plenty of paths. has restaurant, place structures, flower garden, swimming pool and much more. worth the visit
Great park. Peaceful and so much to see and do.
Pretty nice place to walk the dog.
Park is well maintained and clean. Several large fields for activities. There are also play structures for kids to play on.
Excellent park to stroll and enjoy the fall foliage.
A really beautiful park...stunning flower gardens in summer. Gorgeous, majestic trees, massive lawns. The restaurant is pretty good.
It is a nice park with plenty of activities. Skating in winter and small tobaganning hill for kids. They have tobaganning ramps but the city has kept them closed so far this year. There is a kids playground which is nice and a splash pad and swimming pool. The walking paths are nice as well. There is also duck ponds and a witches hut which is pretty neat for the kids to visit. Kildonan Park is a good place but could be alot better if the city invested in the park.
Kildonan park is a lovely place. I enjoy going for walks with family and friends here, it's very peaceful. I also like the park for photography. I have done landscape and wedding photography here. I even photographed the park during winter once and used them as Christmas cards for my family.
my Favorite Park, Been coming here for years
my Favorite Park, Been coming here for years
It is amazing Park to visit ????
Beautiful place to spend some time. The entire family enjoys the gardens, trails, ponds, pools, and picnic areas. Playgrounds are well kept, roads in great shape for biking and walking. We are lucky to live nearby!
Was a good stroll thru the park. Whether it’s with friends or fans, it’s always a pleasant walk in the park
This park is the best park in Winnipeg. Great walks great pool, huge playground, place to eat and a theater.
I have been going there since I was 5-6 always a great time seeing new things.
Kildonan Park is a beautiful park. Great views of the river along the path. The witches hut is great fun for kids or spook loving adults. There is lots of space for group picnics.
Always great to visit this park! All year round.
Great park for families. Swimming pool, theatre, restaurant, duck pond, flower gardens and so much more.
Nice swimming pool and trees and grassy areas.
The park is clean quiet and the flower gardens are beautiful. I enjoy walking along the trails...so many friendly faces. Thanks
Beautiful park and paths that lends itself to simple serenity among the angst of the pandemic.
Amazing gardens and beautiful paths. Always enjoy coming here to refresh and relax
Park was good clean fun too bad closes so early 10:00 should be open till 11:00
Great city park!
Beautiful park great for a peaceful walk. Early Nov. Probably much nicer in the spring or summer
Great park , you could drive around the park , also lots of parking and manny beautiful spots in the park specially their garden, also a great place for bbq gathering and has a great open field to play sports . As well as a swimming place , lots of thingy you could do here .
You can jog, walk with friends or family, play volleyball. There are benches sit either in the shade or Sun by the river. You can have a picnic here as well., for all ages.
Booked time at KP Park Pool and then the playground - kids enjoyed it and had a good time. Both areas were clean, scenery is beautiful at KP Park.
But when is it opening back up ?
I'm severely dehydrated and need water. No water fountains available. Would give 0 stars but it makes me give one star.
Daycamp is fun, the place is beautiful, and the roads are nice.
Great park for walking, biking whatever activity you want. Very nice, great pool and good playground for the kids.
This park is absolutely gorgeous it has cute ponds, beautiful gardens and tons of picnic areas, even has a restaurant
We had a great canada day celebration with friends and family, great place
Very beautiful and very clean gardens, I thank all of the excellent workers ❤️????
Very nice park for walking along the Red River. Amazing flower beds
This is a great park for walking or running. Lots of open green space for activities. Flower garden is currently under construction.
Amazing park! Very clean and beautiful. Also it has the best open swimming pool with great spraying pad.
Playgrounds, hiking, ponds flower gardens are free to enjoy. There is a cost for admission to the pool and splash pad. One thing that is lacking is parking. It is a very well utilized park, so parking can be difficult, especially near the pool and main playground.
Beautiful park well kept and really nice employees
I was there with my aunt and my sister to visit with Christina on her bench that was dedicated to her! What a beautiful tribute to an awesome young woman. I love you Chris!! ❤????????
Always been a nice park but we had two people in a jeep harass our group and people leave fires going even after they leave which is a serious hazard. Wish they had security or something similar.
Beatifull park for outdoor activities. Has a open swimming pool there and lots of space to play outdoor games. Enough shelters and beautiful garden.
Great place to do Family, Church events.
Great park! It has a good tobogganing spot that small kid can enjoy :)
The splash park is great for littles, as is the beachfront entry for the main pool! Waterslides are great for older kids too.
I enjoy going there to decompress, go for a walk with my dogs. Perfect location to walk cheifpeguis trail as well. There's beautiful scenery, the river, the duck pond, play ground for kids. There is something for everyone there. It only takes about an hour to walk a circle around Kildonan park. See ya next time ????????
This park needs more benches and tables to accommodate the crowd. The parking is also very bad. It makes more sense to ride a bicycle to this park because you will not have anywhere to park your vehicle.
One of the biggest parks located in the city of Winnipeg with many walking paths and attractions
Great place for a family walk out. We saw pelicans. Amasing!
It's one of the greatest park, everything you want is in there, golfs and soccer you know I don't have to mention everything , but if you never been there then you missing out .
This was a really beautiful little spot in the bustling City. I was really quite surprised how comfortable I felt and how much it felt like a campground!
have never had an issue with this park. always great to be at
Always so nice having to go there and see everyone enjoy themselves
I love the park. Lots to do n quiet place
I grew up going to this park. Learn to swim in Kildonan pool. My sister had her wedding pictures taken there. It holds sweet memories and special moments of my life.
Love this park in the city. Lots of places to bbq, has two children's playgrounds and a great place to walk and bike ride. Great for family and friends to get together. It provides two volley netted area, a witches hut and lovely flower gardens. The restaurant is really nice and it has an outdoor patio
An urban oasis! Absolutely beautiful well kept park with as many amenities as you could want in a park! Stunning!
If you're looking for ducks, this is the place. The "witches hut" pond is FULL of ducks all times of the day and it's awesome. Lots of parking, lots of places to walk or bike and the park is very well kept.
Always so beautiful especially in the summertime. The flower gardens are very well looked after and maintained. Love walking around the witches hut and rainbow stage. Best park in Winnipeg!
It's still how I remember the place. It's still maintained well. Just came here with my son to look for Pokemon.
Its beautiful and its worth the time to walk around and take in the beauty
Perfect layout makes it very accessible for a quick stop but lots to do if you wanna take your time also.
One of the nicest parks in Winnipeg! It's very easy to get through the entire, because it follows a circle. The park has a nice restaurant, a great outdoor water park, Rainbow Stage for outdoor musicals, two different play structures for kids to play on. There are a large number of picnic tables and shelters that can be used for Birthday parties or BBQ's. There's a really neat witches hut and two large fields for everyone to play. They have a great area with flowers and a bridge that can be used for wedding photos.
Terrific place for walks, kids to play and just relax
gd for family bbqs or even just a gd jog around the park:) this place will always be a place i can go that reminds me of being a kid. gd swimming pool and park for the kids. bike paths and ponds;)
Great park but right now we are under restrictions
Being one of Winnipeg's biggest parks makes it a fun place for everyone even if it is to just go to Rainbow Stage for a live show during the summer months, ice skating on the pond in the Winter, visiting the Witch's Hut during the warmer months, dining at the Prairie's Edge restaurant or just going for a stroll. Perfect place for photography year round. Also, just recently it has become a major place in Winnipeg for (painted) rock hiding and finding. For more information about that check out the Winnipeg Rocks Facebook page.
Located in the north part of our city and home.e to the Famous Rainbow Stage which is an outdoor theater. Prairies edge is the restaurant and it has great views of the park.
The second best park in the city (Assiniboine Park by far the best). It’s got an outdoor pool, a significant play-structure, volleyball pits, picnic shelters, a pricy restaurant that also does coffee and ice cream out a window, a stream running through it with lots of ducks and a usually-closed witches hut. The hut contains a small Hansel and Gretel scene, constructed with mannequins combined with real-life objects.
I have fond memories of Kildonan Park. Went there all the time as a kid. It is well treed, with huge, sprawling Elms. It is situated along the Red River. Lots of green space, with drive in access from Main St. Winnipeg. Visit the cafeteria in the Pavillion, go skating on the pond, or swimming at the outdoor pool, enjoy a live production at the Rainbow Stage and take a walk through the Witch's Hut. Lots of spots for picnics and barbeques and sports activities too.
Awesome park! Take your bike for a ride or strap on your snowshoes and go for a trek. Prairies Edge is a great spot to grab a bite and a beer too. Lots more to do at KP.
Been coming to this park since I’ve been old enough to drive. Hanging out with my buddies every night of the week especially on Sunday cruise night. Nowadays I enjoy walking my golden retriever everyone is friendly and my dog gets more attention than I do lol.
Love walking ,lots of sightseeing.. Haven't eaten at the restaurant yet, but the icrem store love it! That's. My favorite park.. I go there lot during the weekend My mom loves it
Always a beautiful place just to walk around. Some convenient food kiosks would be nice, but as a park it is fabulous.
Have been going to Kildonan Park since I was a little girl. The park has something for everyone. A pool, play structures, flower garden for great photo ops, the wiches hut. Many picnic areas equipt with firepits to have a bonfire. Great place for sledding and skating in the winter as well. If you just want to take a walk, great location for this as well. Many memories for my family made here over the years!
Great park, beautiful flowers still in bloom, lots of well manicured lawns and fields. Lots of picnic shelters and tables, benches are well distanced from each other. Witches hut and Rainbow stage are good tourist attractions. Has a children's playground and outdoor pool. Has outhouses for public use.
Its beautiful out there. Other than not finding a shaded area for the birthday party we made do with our own stuff across from the park and pool. Wish the pools would open earlier than end of June especially when its above 20 C and dry out. We still had a lovely day in the sand and through the park.
Beautiful place for family gatherings
Great park. Small but nice
What a place to get revitalized in the center of a city! Walk along the river bank, visualize traffic using the old swing bridge plopped in the middle of the Red River, bike the trails the Park has provided, or spread your picnic basket on a lush green patch of grass...it's all bucolic!!!
A good place to take a walk. Beautiful gardens and child friendly parks with paved paths to allow wheelchair accessibly. The pool is also really nice with spacious changing rooms and a nice slide as well.
Right in the city it has something for everyone as well as a beautiful restaurant with great food and ambiance
The park itself is beautiful. But it is so crowded in summer that you really can't fully enjoy it. There are many trails and little places to discover but it's not fun walking around avoiding people all the time. There are definitely other places in the city that are not as packed
I'd forgotten about this park and I'm very happy to of rediscovered it. The park is beautiful and very well kept. Wonderful ponds, picnic areas, sports areas, walkways, playgrounds, The Witches Hut, Rainbow Stage, the flowers, the beauty, and the cleanliness. Wonderful place, you should go.
Favorite place to take the kids and bbq. There are volleyball nets, fields of grass, bike/walking trails, rainbow stage, and more.
No water fountains. Very sad, I am thirsty, could use a drink! One star.
Large campground sites. Good service. All the amenities you would expect.
Who doesn't love KP? Safe environment for walking, jogging and more. Excellent playgrounds for children to enjoy as well as a pool and splash pad.
Great park to visit enjoy taking my child there it is for everyone that enjoys the outdoors its fitted with kids park bob sled chute walking paths and in winder cross country trails. Has facilities and a large outdoor theater. I only rated it at 3 because I have not been to the resturant there nor to see a show at the theater but my visits are always pleasant.
Lots of people.....afternoons are fairly quiet here, but it gets busy in the evenings.
Lots of benches to have a picnic and beautiful flower gardens. Great place to have a picnic and go for a walk . Also had clean outdoor washrooms(indoor)
Beautiful park. A true gem in Winnipeg!
Great place to take the family, kids partners you name it! Perfect place to get out and enjoy some fresh air. The kids park is great and theres tons to do and see.
Very beautiful place. Lots to do. Spent most of the afternoon there.
It's a very nice and pleasant place. I frequently visit this park for my peace of mind. Nearby river added more attraction towards it.
Awesome place at any season! Skating rinks and snow slides, duck ponds and the witch hut, bike and walking trails, riverview and playstructures, enormous lawns and an outdoor pool!
Unfortunately the Witches Hit is closed for the season (I assume COVID related) but the park is a great place to walk, take families to the playground, and go swimming (book ahead due to COVID).
Liked the park ad whole but we went couple of times for outdoor pool but it was closed due to weather, could have been better if it was open
Lovely park for any activity. Really a jewel of north Winnipeg. I mostly do birding here but despite the activity of people there is plenty of nature to discover.
Great place to bring the kids
Nicely maintained, plenty of shade and picnic tables/ benches. Lovely flowers. A great place to spend an afternoon.
Great place to bring your dog! I remember playing bocci ball here as well. Make sure your dog stays out of the water it's not clean!
I love doing laps on my bike here, this park is an important part of my routine.
Beautiful scenery any time of the year. In the summer they have large flower gardens that are worth taking a stroll through. Just don't forget your camera. With Rainbow Stage and Prairie's Edge restaurant in the park with tons of open green space, there is something for everyone.
Great time at the Pause for Cause dog walk
Well maintained park. Good place to go for a walk or ride a bike. Got rid of the water fountains and the bathrooms are locked more then their open. But other then that its well kept
Beautiful Park!
Nice , well maintained, peaceful park worth going with kids
A great little mall. It offers you everything you need without the crowds of larger malls. It has a no pressure feel to it, so if you like accessiblity and simplicity, this is your one stop shop.
Nice place to picnic and have the kids to play.
Beautiful flower arrangements!
Great park, nice walking paths and a decent amount of tables. Water park area is fairly new.
A lovely little park with lots of climbers and slides for young and older children. Would be perfect if the large swing set included the next size up disability swing. Lots of happy children socially distance playing!
Kildonan park is a beautiful park. Has a nice Prairies edge restaurant. Beautiful flower gardens. Rainbow Stage is a great outdoor theatre. Great for walking biking and picnics. Golf course also. Parking and good bus route.
Always a nice place to relax In a park setting. Usually quiet when I've gone recently. And quiet is nice.
The gardens there are absolutely beautiful.
I've been going to Kildonan Park for my entire life. Even though the park may not be the largest, it's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether to go for a walk, do a photoshoot, see a performance at Raimbow Stage, or simply sit at the duck pond by the Witches Hut. The revamped pond by the Pavillion is great during all seasons, and the upgraded playgrounds from the last few years is great for playtime with your kids as well.
Inexpensive family water park with slides diving boards and a high diving board. Tonnes of trails and dirt trails for the experienced mountain bike, rainbow stage for plays a arts...people watching...for sure.
Best place for relaxation.
Love this park, lots to do. There's a pool which you can go swimming with your children. The splash pad they have is nice. I love how this park has a place where you can BBQ. I came here for a bbq with friends and it was very spacious. Also the garden is very pretty, a nice path with colorful flowers, it's a nice walk especially if you're a couple. I love coming to this park with my family, we always go for a walk. I will be back. So much to see.
This park had everything throughout the seasons nice walking trail along the river, restaurant in the park church in the park on Sunday was great wonderful singing.
Have been going here since I was a kid. Now taking my kids. Great playgrounds for all ages, pool, splash pad, walking trails, restaurant has great food since renovations, skating, tobaggan slides, BBQ pits, volleyball courts and soccer field.
Kildonan Park is one of the city's jewels. I have been going there since I was 8 years old. I grew up at Rainbow Stage. But that's another review. I love the slightly rolling terrain of the park. It is still so popular for family, church, school and company picnics. The gardens in Kildonan Park are lush and beautiful. The pool and splash pad have been well-maintained and upgraded. The walking paths are aplenty. The Witch's Hut in the trees is a Winnipeg landmark. The pavilion has had it's ups and downs, but I hear good things about Prairue's Edge. The pond and skating rink are another Winnipeg landmark.
One of the city’s great parks. It’s pretty massive with lots of green space and trails throughout. The witch’s hut is a Winnipeg classic and the space near the water is pretty nice too. The gardens are quite pretty and there’s lots to do with volleyball courts and lots of other spaces. Be careful if you end up there on an evening where there’s a Rainbow Stage show though - the park gets a little packed on those nights.
Kildonan Park is a well manicured, well maintained park. There is an outdoor swimming pool with a couple of playgrounds in front. You will also find the Amphitheatre toward the back of the park. Quite a bit of parking throughout. Worth the visit.
Always has been a landmark of winnipeg. Clean, safe and a much needed family park.
Was fine but lots of wasps so many wasps
Love this park. Close to home. So well kept and really beautiful place to walk, play volleyball or just sit on a bench and relax. Wonderful place structures for the kids to play.
Went often as a kid growing up in the North End. Went again to eat my take out meal. Beautiful and peaceful.
A great place to go for a walk, ride a bike, have a bbq or toss a football around while hanging out with friends or family. Lots of ducks and a few geese can be found around the park and in the summer there are beautiful gardens to enjoy. Not to mention there is also a public pool and splash pad.
Come here in the evening during sunset and you will not be disappointed. I love that they fixed up the pond and keep the area clean. The view cannot be beat.
The witch's hut is really cute, you get to feed some ducks too for a $1. They have a huge outdoor pool and splash pad but we haven't tried them so can't vouch for the cleanliness but it's quite a busy park.
Grad photos for my daughter. Lots of people there but beautiful place to take pictures.
I think this is one of the nicest parks in Winnipeg. Nestled between the Red River and Kildonan Public Golf course this park has large shady treed areas and open sunny areas. The park offers activities such as playgrounds one for toddlers and one for young kids, an outdoor pool (with waterslides, diving board and splash pad) volleyball courts, lawn bowling court, flower gardens x2, duck pond x2, witches hut (Hansel and Grettle Themed), Rainbow Stage Summer Outdoor Theatre, winter toboggan slides and winter ice skating on the frozen duck ponds. There is a sit down restaurant overlooking the larger duck pond and they also have a takeout window for grab and go meals. Lots of wildlife, and there is a large walking/running track around the outside of the park. In winter the Kildonan golf course has cross country skis trails along the outside of the golf course that also connects to trails in the park also. Maps are available on the city website. On nice days, this park is always busy.

Witch's hut still closed due to covid 19. Gardens beautifully maintained.
Witch's hut still closed due to covid 19. Gardens beautifully maintained.
Beautiful park, lots of trails, adequate parking, and we love the sights and attractions. Haven't been to the swimming pool yet but hope to visit soon.
Awesome beautiful place!!! Gotta go back. The indoor restaurants is perfect with great food AND EXCELLENT coffee for those who enjoy rich tasty coffee
The park itself is beautifully kept with wonderful Gardens, the witches hut, which is a beautiful tourist attraction along with the duck habitat right beside it. You can buy cracked corn and Seed there for a dollar to feed the Ducks. Not a big fan of the restaurant, would much rather have a burger and fries stand in there for the average person rather than the high-end restaurant. But that's just me. Evidently it's a good restaurant simply out of my price range. One of the best parks in the city, a great place to take family for barbecues and plenty of places to have a barbecue. Also there is playgrounds and swimming pool as well.
Best place to go for a walk inside the city. Kids love finding painted rocks
I was taken here when I was a kid and I take my kids here. Plenty of space to play, flowers are always beautiful and well maintained. Splash pad for the little ones, pool for the bigger ones, nice walking path, and the witches hut is always an interesting stop.
It's gorgeous Excellent for a walk and spending some good time with family
Park was fine but the amount of wasps around the shelters was ridiculous. Based on visit on Aug 28th, 2021
Tons of pokemon go gyms
Their Restaurant not open I make it another time.
The update to the swimming pool is great. Lots of room for picnics. They have some volleyball nets set up. They have outdoor skating on the pond. Winter slides set up. Paths to walk on along the river. Path to run or bike along the road. Restuarant is ok. Lots of grass areas.witches hut is interesting. Rainbow stage could use a update.
Wonderful park. Can get quite busy on weekends but second best park in the city.
It is a nice park for sports or just going for a walk. A nice combination of grassy patches, treed areas, paths and water makes it a good spot for family to spend time outdoors.
Very beautiful park that has trails for walking your dog or just taking a leisurely stroll or brisk walking or jogging for your exercise routine.
One of the most beautiful parks in Winnipeg. Some of the trees are hundreds of years old, there is a duck pond where geese also like to land, and lovely flower gardens. Many people seem to enjoy walking, running or cycling around the park on the road or paths. If you haven't been I would highly recommend you go as soon as you get the chance. I little nature getaway in the city.
Peaceful. Beautiful. Nice place for a walk...
What a wonderful morning! We were there for the Lap for Life run/walk to raise awareness for Batten disease. Such a great park for little kids... play structures and lots of room to run. We will also be heading back in warmer weather to visit the pool and splash pad.
Terrific Winnipeg Park.
Terrific Winnipeg Park.
It was perfect for our family gathering of 52 people, great walking trails, nice playground for the kids, beautiful flowers and so many beautiful trees providing shade and beauty, abundant space to spread out, covered canopy for rent with electrical outlet which we did rent with plenty of picnic benches (bring dollar store tablecloths and/or cleaning supplies) to accomodate everyone for seating, barbecue was great (bring your own briquettes), garbage and recycling receptacles provided. Water tap near. Paved walkways so great for accessibility. Parking is along the roadway so close to your picnic spot. It is beautifully maintained. A real gem for walkers, joggers, cyclists, yoga enthusiates, families, everyone can enjoy this park. There is a pool and splash pad however in this visit we didn't utilize. The one drawback, as is in many establishments, while the bathrooms were nearby and clean, the handicap bathroom is barely adequate and there is no family bathroom for a spouse if assistance is needed which was our situation. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade with the capability and space to handle wheelchairs and their caregivers. Other than that, it was the perfect place to have a picnic and obviously very popular as every picnic table was occupied by happy families but with lots of space between each group. I would recommend it to anyone. I also wanted to commend the Parks department, everyone was so very helpful from going to the Parks department to rent the canopy to 311 who were full of great information and the onsite park staff who made sure our picnic was a great success. Kudos to them all and thank you!
It was nice to get together with my sister and her husband. We found a nice spot to sit and social distance with a little bit of a lunch. We also were entertained today, it was someone's birthday and they had an Elvis impersonator there. Very enjoyable.
I walk here and have visited it since a child. I think the city can revamp the park, they did a great job on the pool although the outdoor free kiddies pool was removed and a fantastic play structure was put in that area. I would still like to have seen a free wading pool for the little ones. Overall nice park to walk around.
A beautiful park to explore!
One of this city's beautiful gems, under use, unappreciated in most part. Fantastic facilities, great parking, excellent service staff. Incredible flower gardens, very well maintained/kept.
Quaint little house. Great for children who know the Hansel and Gretel story. Comes to life to see in this little wonder. A prize attraction for Kildonan Park.
Great place to go and have a bbq and gatherings ..pool seems to always be to full to get in. Nice walk around place...4 star because the out house they use seems to never be cleaned during the day yucky
Beautiful Park with playgroud for kids
We went to rainbow stage and watch the Cinderella performance and my gosh it was fantastic!! It was a new experience for us and we enjoyed ourselves! The production, the the performers and all staff on deck were just amazing!
Beautiful park, was many people there today, we enjoyed our time at the play structures and made sure to visit the ducks and geese at the pond.
Wonderful toboggan spot for younger kids (~8 and under). Beautiful walking
It can get a bit crowded and difficult to find parking, but it's a beautiful park with some unique features, such as the Witch's Hut.
This place is perfect for frens n family gathering????
My husband and I took our dog and my mother in laws dog for a walk. It was so beautiful outside and the girls really enjoyed the walk.
Its a great park with lots of trails and great variety. One small thing is that the parks kinda small.
Absolutely a gem. Well maintained, clean. A definite go to place to visit.
Beautiful park. Had a wonderful time walking around
Beautiful park. The witches hut is cool and you can buy cheap bird seed bowls to feed the ducks and geese in the stream! Park and splash pad are great for kids.
Lovely gardens and lots of people. A happy place.
One of the best parks in Winnipeg. It has an Olympic size swimming pool and be sure to check out rainbow stage and the witches hut
it has everything you need for family fun. swimmig pool, play ground, bbq pits. biking and walking trails, and a golf course right there.
Went to the pool and splash pad with my baby, it was great. Awesome park to take a decent walk in as well.
Nicest park in the city. The down fall is unless you bring somthing to do, u wont be able to find anything to do thier, most of the time at least.
First visit to the park after the devastation of fall .The winter slides were in full use and people and families were enjoying the relatively mild temps. The fact that the grounds keepers prepare the slides and clear the excess snow makes it an enjoyable all round experience . The road hadn’t been cleared in places which makes it harder for joggers to make a complete loop in safety,so some more thought and attention would be nice .
Went for a nice long walk all the way around the park with my grandson, social distancing. Was abeautiful time. Nice views and felt very safe.
We ate the cafe there . It was really great. Service was excellent
Great shaded playground for kids. We also love the outdoor swimming pool. Toddlers can play in the splash pad, and wander into whatever depth water they are comfortable in in the pool. There's also a couple water slides and diving boards for older kids.
Beautiful park, especially The Witches Hut! Rainbow Stage is always great fun and so are the play structures. It could use a few more garbage cans along the river and its unfortunate that the Splash Pad is one of the only ones in the city that costs money.
The place is nice but too crowd. Good for running, walking, volleyball and picnic. Bring your kids here in the afternoon.
You know I looked for the hut when I came here but I didn’t see it. Even though the pool was closed it’s a nice park. I watched youths play volley ball and It’s a nice park for singing and playing guitar, but hold your meal????
A wonderful park to escape the everyday with trails and paths to wander and walk down.
Took wedding pictures of my daughter's marriage to Don at KP. Beautiful scenery.
A perfect park for walking and picnics. Many benches and a few covered areas for group gatherings. There is a combination of paths and a space along side the road for walking. Traffic moves slow to pay attention to walkers. The flowers are outstanding right now (Aug 3). Missed a chance for some awesome pictures.
A great city park a hidden jewel down north Main St. It was a great morning for a run.
This is another wonderful city park great for walks, family parties, and outdoor events. Lots of canopies and picnic tables for parties. Open fields for sports as well. Children's playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool, Rainbow stage theatre. Beautiful flower gardens in the summer. The Witches Hut is a very popular place to view and see the large amount of ducks in the park as well as other small birds. Ice slides in the winter are awesome and well maintained. I love this park and go here very often.
It's a very big park.
Very nice park for walking, running, or doing fitness workouts with friends.
Beautiful and well maintained grounds nice to bring your family
It is nice there walked over by the witches hut fed the ducks in the pond lots of the old cars drive through....nice to get out of the house
Very enjoyable great place to walk.
One of my favourite parks in the city, especially in the winter months. The cross-country sky trail is awesome. Always well groomed, with paths through the trees leading onto the golf course. Great place to go if you're looking to get outside in the winter!
We are really lucky to have access to parks like Kildonan. Beautiful spaces with picnic amenities, a duck pond, swimming, a splash pad, biking paths, and outdoor activity centers for the kids. My only complaint is their recent decision to not allow parking anywhere near the large play structures and swimming area
Beautiful surroundings with great colors in the fall. Excellent trails for a nice adventure
So much to explore in this park. Doesn't tell the story if you are passing by on main street. Come in, explore the beautiful grounds, check out the rainbow theatre or watch ultimate Frisbee teams compete.
Great place to feed the ducks and geese! So much fun to watch ????
Besides the plethora of goose poop (dog candy ugghh) this is an amazing Park.
Good park to be enjoyed by persons of all ages. Main problem in current season is when you pass near trees, worms are there and even on roads. Even in grounds, lawn, tables everywhere these worms/bugs are present. Hope park authorities will take necessary actions in the matter. Has good quality swimming pool, children's play area, theater, etc. for enjoyment. Children can enjoying playing in ground, slide, swings, etc. Has wheelchair accessible parking.
Nice place for a picnic, to go for a stroll in the flower garden, watch the ducks. It is in the midst of some much needed renovations. It can be extremely busy here at times.
Beautiful park with a gorgeous pool and splash pad.
Fun even in the winter. There are groomed x-county ski trails that run throughout the park. If you own a classic car you already know about the park.
Great place to unwind and relax and enjoy the sites and sounds of Winnipeg.
Great place to bring the kids. The play park next to the swimming pool is always a hit with the kids and the large trees overhead keeps the sun off of the in the summer heat.
Gardens always look great every year, friendly staff throughout the park, and plenty of areas for children and families to enjoy (Rainbow Stage, Pool, Playsets, etc.)
It is nicely treed along the river walk/trail. They has a beautiful outdoor family pool.
Huge park with a huge selection of activities and amenities that you can use while there. You will definitely need many visits coz you just can't enjoy everything this park has to offer in one day
The staff here are amazing. The Park is always so beautiful and well maintained. Every season of the year, it's well worth the trip. The walking paths, the flowers, Rainbow Stage, the swimming pool, everything. Doesn't matter what time you come, the paths are cleared of snow and sanded. Even Remembrance Day at nine in the morning it was cleared and ready for all the walkers, joggers and sledders that came. I walk almost every day, I enjoy the magic part of the walk where the chickadees eat out of your hand, the beautiful paved path along the Red, the skating rink, this park is truly a treasure.
Cool place to walk, but lots of people on the nice days.
Great park. What else can I say. The park also is home to the fantastic rainbow stage theater, an outdoor theater venue with great plays. The park also has a cool little fairy tale village. Great for kids.
Amazing park. Sick of coming here and seeing people drive around it like its a race track. If I'm doing the speed limit there's no need to tailgate or try to pass in the pedestrian lane!
Clean surroundings. Beautiful park ! Should have restrictions on loud music in cars.
beautiful park. only complaint is we tried to book a picnic shelter for our sons first birthday and could not get through to anyone and just left multiple messages and never had our calls returned so when the day came we got kicked out of two shelters and had to find some picnic benches elsewhere. it was extremely stressful but thank god the park is so awesome that our spot turned out to be perfect
Its a beautiful park. Really nice splash pad and pool. Too many people smoking, especially near the childrens playground though
Just a great place to walk and revel in the peace
Very clean and great for walking!
Great park for walking or biking or rollerblading. Nice picnic spots.
Used the park to start and finish my 18km run. Eventhough the restaurant was closed, the building housing it was open, which was nice.
Awesome park, there's play structures, beach volleyball courts, a waterpark and gardens if you just want to walk around.
Nice place to take a walk and meet up with family for a nice gathering and maybe a picnic
Love going here with my girlfriend nice place to be
Great but didn't appreciate people smoking Marijuana by the kids play structures.
Great place for pictorials
Huge park that is a must visit in Winnipeg. Beautifully maintained flower gardens. Lots of parking by the toad but it does get very crowded as well. Plenty of picnic spots and playgrounds.
Great park with lots of open spaces for activities. There are cross country skiing trails in winter, and great walking paths in summer. There are also fire pits with grates available. There really aren't great options for biking however, as there is no dedicated bike lane, and signage restricts you to the roadway. With the amount of people driving around the park loop, this often results in cars driving dangerously close.
Cute park lots of space, wildlife, loved the wood ducks. Pond could use some love and care!
Kildonan Park is the best! Brought the pup on Sunday.
Best place to take your dog for off lease. My dog and myself really enjoyed this park. We had a great walk and enjoyed meeting other folks and doggy friends. I would highly recommend. I had a fear that my dog would run off on to the road but the off lease park is very big once you get in.
A very clean and well thought out park on North Main. The outdoor pool is a favorite and the picnic shelters. Of particular note; if you are planning to host a large event there; best to pay for the exclusive use. A few buck for the rights to use. I am not sure what a person would do if they arrive for their time to find it occupied. Personally; I would offer to share cost of the rent... You can fish along the river, also jog or walk. Extremely difficult to park mid day in the summer and the park police are pretty good at finding violators! Be sure to find the largest tree in Winnipeg, "supposedly"! Near the Witches hut, across the bridge. It is a sight to see! Watch out for poison ivy off trails!
Beautiful fall colors out now
Excellent place a refreshing walk beautiful flowers all over the grounds that are immaculate
great place for family! walks are great but weekends are kinda busy for some events. but hey its a park! so why not!
Nice place to go for a walk or picnic. So many play structures for kids.
Always a great park to take my grandson to.
Lovely place for a family picnic. Nicely treed with grassy areas. Very busy for parking in the afternoon on a nice day.
Great place to walk around. My wife hides some rocks and even find some sometimes.????
Well-maintained public park. Very green in the summer with some colorful flower gardens. Relatively easy to park within the premises. Can be better with more well-marked foot paths for those jogging or taking leisurely strolls.
Nice and large outdoors space for everyone and it's with in city limits. Summer time there are beautiful garden and lots of shade for everyone. There is also splash park with fair size swim pool. There is restaurant in the park too but reservations have to be made. All in all all seasons you can find something fun to do in this park ????.
This is the place to go for nice long walks with your family, or have a family function like barbecues , when there are just to many of you. You can play games right by your site or just lay around I the grass. Or throw a line in the river to catch a big hole fish. Also the flower garden is beautiful.
Probably one of the best parks in the city, you can take the kids to hit multiple play areas take in a live show or even hit any of the multiple beach volleyball courts.
Great place to relax and have fun with family and friends. Plenty of green space and walking trails.
Good place to let your kids run around & burn some energy instead of being on their devices all day!......I like biking there too!
Such a beautiful park. A great destination if you are cycling from anywhere in Winnipeg.
Great location for picnics and inflatables from Playworld Fun Rentals.
The park was filled with lots of family parties and people enjoying the outdoor swimming pool on a hot day! Loud music is NOT allowed in the park so it was an enjoyable place to relax in spite of the crowds. We were glad we had cycled there because there were way too many cars...much easier by bicycle!
Beautiful park, lots of trees, shade, open spot and covered picnic areas for small to large groups. Only downside to this park is its very busy, hard to find parking at times and space can be limited.
Beautiful place to talk to nature... have enjoyable family picnic here.... absolute fun for kids to play
Great park should make better use of rainbow stage. Cool new splash pad and pool. Witches hut is also fun for kids. Also has skating and toboggan slides in winter months
Its beautiful and great for the kids and families..while we all are dealing with this covid-19 year! Keep safe and social distancing
Love the this park. Beautiful paths especially through the garden area. Such old and beautiful trees on this park. Sad winter is coming.
Good place, the outdoor pool is nice, but better to book online before you come.
A very beautiful park for the whole family great for picnic gatherings❤????
Nice for picnics amd barbeques. Has reservable shelters (make a reservation and make sure you bring the paperwork as some people think first come = its theirs). Picnic tables in the shelters. Nearby real washrooms, not those plastic outhouses. Garbage and recycling containers regularly emptied. Use the barbeque pit or bring your own. Lots of shady areas plus open spaces to play. Family friendly - lots of play areas for kids. Parking can be challenging on a sunny summer weekend. Check if the theatre has something on and make sure you get in ahead of it as the plays can be very popular.
Awesome park for all. Inside the city. I love this park. Best place to provide Zumba®️ classes outdoor❤️❤️ (Fridays @ 6:30 PM)
Awesome place to visit…truly a heavenly atmosphere for kids who love outdoor parks..
Excellent park a great pool Fun for the whole family. Rainbow stage is always great if you can see it
Beautiful, huge park. River views, benches to read, outdoor pool, beach volleyball court, and so much more (witches!!).
Beautiful large greenspace with playgrounds and waterpark, open air theatre, cooking areas with pits, restaurant, wonderful flower gardens, duck pond, volleyball and other sport areas. Great place!
Kildonan park is very infested with mosquitoes this year. Don't forget your repellant if you are planning to visit the park .
Loved visiting this park. They take great care of the facilities. Love all the flowers. Beautiful park, my wife used to visit here when she was a young kid.
It's a very nice place, I always love when you first drive in and get to see all the beautiful flowers they have planted! Really have no complaints besides my 6 year old (who is clumsy as a baby giraffe) tripped over the side walk where it pops up by the witches but. Besides that very beautiful place to walk around! We took our dog from our Doggie date (I HIGHLY SUGGEST going to animal services and taking a dog out for the day, night or week!!!) And had a stroller that easily navigated through the park.
Beautiful dang park. Super solid to go for a run or a picnic in. Or bbq. Or bike ride. Or see a play at Rainier bow stage.
