A central meeting and playing area for downtown Kelowna. It is fast becoming more popular than the 'sales' statue, one block away at the foot of Bernard Ave. We use it year round as a family. Free outdoor skating in winter, a fireplace to huddle around, skate rentals, and various food trucks round out the amenities available. There are public washrooms just around the corner, and our great "Blue Bear" modern art grizzly statue to see. The bear is accessible via stairs or with wheelchairs. Security are on site in summer, fall and spring. In summer the city offers free events including dance lessons. Tourists and locals alike simply 'hang out' in this great space, people watch, grab lunches, or stare out onto the lake. The waterfront walkway is beside the park, and one of our 6 public pianos is located here. This is the same piano Aerosmith's Steven Tyler famously played in a viral You Tube video.

Great little spot with a skating rink in the winter, and a pristine concrete pad in the summer. Bathrooms with sharps disposal, patrolled by security. Beautiful part of the waterfront walk, going by the yacht club. Parking is often hard to find - especially during peak season.

In the winter you can go skating on the open air rink (rentals available), and in the summer you can enjoy happy hour on one of the beautiful patio spaces surrounding the area. Don't miss the giant Grizzly Bear art installation. High security presence and City Hall across the street means that unlike some neighbouring parks (City Park, I'm looking at you), this park remains family-friendly year round.

That bear sculpture is cool and there are public bathrooms located under it on the lake side. The large flat area next to it is a great place to practice rolling skating with the kids and some days there is a giant chess board that appears. During the winter it becomes a popular outdoor skating rink.

LOTS of activities for the kids and all ages. The city of Kelowna did a great job of organizing the whole day. It would be nice to see police controlled intersections where where there are no lights. Exiting city park parking lot took about 5 minutes but everyone was patient (no honking).

Went night skating here when it first opened for the season and it was pretty good. Being the only outdoor rink in Kelowna, it was nice to come out and skate, and it was great that they had a truck for rentals. It was a little overcrowded and quite small, but it is the only place to go around here so it does the job.

We went skating on a Saturday at 3:30pm. It was busy, but not too crowded. They have a truck to rent skates, there's a decent-sized fire pit and bleachers where you can put your stuff down. They take care of the ice pretty well. When it got darker out, they turned these pretty lights on above the ice. It was really nice. Just make sure to dress warmly! Being next to the water brings a chilly breeze.

Went ice skating. Wonderful time. Beautiful small park with picnic tables right next to the water. During the ice skating season, a porta potty is on site. A rental can is always pushed nearby of share rentals are needed. Music is playing and as to the experience. Definitely recommend to both locals and tourists.

My first impression of Stuart Park, Kelowna - Well at first glance I thought "wow what a beautiful place! With all the boats, marina, and boardwalk". Moment's later, while trying to locate a place to park. I had nearly ran over a man that appeared to be extremely high/drunk and half dressed. Walking through the Park was really nice. Finding used needle dispensers in the washrooms of whats known as a "family park" kinda made me cring, as well did the dried blood on the floor...BUT other than that, it was a really nice Park.

The park has a nice atmosphere so near to the marina en waterfront. The park has nice attributes that make it attractive for young people and children to actively use the park. The surroundings are very well kept and clean. In the evening hours it is always nice to stroll along the water. In The area there are plenty of opportunities to have a drink or a bite to eat. Do not forget to say ‘Hello’ to the Ogopogo which is jus temerging from the virtual water!

Tremendous park with free events going on throughout the year! And oh boy, that public ice-skating rink by the waters is just nothing short but lively and enjoyable! It does get quite chilly in the winter but there's a firepit by the rink. With the pit, you can warm yourself up after facing the wind during your skating sessions ???????? Rentals are available on the spot. There's a truck by the rink called "Bladez" and it costs $5/adult. If you own your own pair of skates, the rink is open to you at no charge!

Its clean and lots of things to do. See a different animal everytime I am there. Be careful of the deer though... they get a little skittish and charge if you dont keep a respectful distance. You can call the wild life preserve to relocate them though. So they are on top of it.

Bathrooms are not worth the risk. Drug users like to fill their needles with blood and spray it on the walls. Get lunch nearby and ask to use their washroom instead. Great ice rink, very little litter.

This park is centrally located in downtown. There are always things going on down there especially during the summer. During the winter they have an outdoor ice rink maintained by the city. However, there is a large population of homeless and degenerates down there. They use the washrooms to do drugs, they drink booze publicly, panhandle and are quite aggressive at times.
