Really nice family park. We had a kids birthday party and found it very relaxing and enjoyed the shade trees and the water and beach were very nice.

Very strange place - crowded, unfriendly, hard to access. I suppose, the lake itself is clean but it's hard to believe looking from that beach. Do not recommend to anyone.

Lovely little park with nice picnic tables, lots of sun and shade. There's also a nice little beach and a boat launch. Signs advise you not to swim presumably due to the proximity to the mill but that never stops. Rash only lasts a fee days.

There is a nice child's park, with grass to run around and public washrooms. The beach is shady with the bonus of having some shady spots under the trees. Parking is about $1 per hour (6AM-6PM) with a maximum of 4hours. Street parking is scarce as its right behind the hospital.

Peaceful park near the lake shore with greenery all around. Also consists of a small play area for children. It is 2km south of Downtown in Kelowna. Can get a good view of the bridge over Okanagan Lake. You can spend evenings here especially on a sunny day.

Good place if you like sand beaches. Having said that you have to go other ways if you want to see clear water. Good thing you can do that it is very shallow for way long time.

Beautiful park and beach on the north east side of the lake. Nice and quiet in the early mornings, but if you're not a fan of a LOT of children there are other less busy places as there is a playground right by the beach.

Nice beach park, lots of large trees for shade and lovely grassy areas. There a playground for the little ones and a nice beach front. There are washrooms and change rooms here. We found nearby 1 and 2 hour street parking for free.

Great little park and beach. Rarely too busy. The beach part can get a bit messy with sticks from both the park and lake so watch your step if you go barefoot.

It was pleasant to kill some time at Strathcona while I waited for a friend's hospital appointment to finish. I was very pleased at the amount of available parking. There are grounds renovations of some kind going on, and affected areas were fenced off, and did not affect mid-week enjoyment of the park.

Okanagan lake..the best sand..nice water. Beautiful scenery. Love it here. I'm going back August long!!! I made a mistake by saying skaha lake before. ,, but sudbury beach in penticton. Is awesome too.
