Carol Norris

Excellent park with a variety of walking and hiking trails, there are flat trails that go along the water, or you can take dirt trails up into the hills, there are stair climbing options, lots of beautiful paths. Bring water, there are not alot of spots to fill up your containers, wear good shoes.

Max And Kona

A beautiful park with something for everyone. Nice, level paths for strollers, easy bike riding and wheelchair accessible. Two beautiful playgrounds. A covered picnic shelter. Then in the hills, there are trails galore and a fishing pond for the kids. It is well worth the time to stop and explore this park.

Arturo Sanchez

Very nice, clean, lots of fun, great outdoors time, great for all the family

Lori Ann Harsent

This is a well kept park. The children love to go here and it is great for all ages. A climbing ripe tower, to the usual slides and money bars. There are walking and biking paths and streams. So much to explore. If you want to go for a quick hike you can even go check out the turtles ????.

Eli Koleva

Lovely park, the pines smelled so good on a sunny early spring afternoon! Tried the agents of discovery app in the park and it was the best companion for my son who kept exploring without ever asking to go back and play on his tablet. Awesome hike for any age and skill.

Wong Family

As the name implies, Mission Creek is the centerpiece of this park with the ability to walk along its banks from near the mouth up into Gallagher's Canyon and beyond if one is daring. And while the possibility of running into bears and other wildlife is slim nearer to the lake, once you trek upstream from the main parking lot on Springfield Rd., be very bear aware as it is not uncommon to run into these omnivores. And while it is generally a non-issue, as Spring comes into full force it is possible to meet a mama bear and cubs; stay clear as much as possible. Back to the park. Features other than the Creek include: 1) a wheel chair accessible playground structure 2) a children's fishing pond 3) an Eco-centre 4) a covered picnic area 5) two pedestrian bridges that cross the creek... also numerous road bridges cross downstream and one crossing upstream. After Hollywood Rd S, there are no more crossings. A pleasant amble, anytime of the year. Note: my sons like to river surf during Spring runoff. Not only is this dangerous and can lead to death it is also illegal. But try telling that to young men who have not fully developed their prefrontal cortex. 4 stars.

Russell March

I like to go on various little walks and hikes here. Nice environment and fairly easy and accessible to all. It's in the middle of the whole long trail. Great launching point weather you want to go for a short jont, or even a long hike. Some really fantastic views as well

Milton - Canada

Great place for friends & family (of course dogs) to have a great walk in thr fresh air. General lots to see and do, even loads of outdoor play and climbing equipment for kids to have fun on. We generally see a lot of birds, squirrels, ducks, turtles(when not hibernating) and along with kokannee(in the fall time). A great place to se nature and go for a short hike.

Angela G

If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, dog friendly natures-tic walk, this is the perfect spot. There is a creek, and a number of trails you can take and if the timing is right you may see some turtles. Also a playground for children and picnic tables, and clean washrooms. Please note, not stroller friendly.

Chantelle H.

Really nice trail options got a 2 hour hike with a toddler and old dogs.

Marcia Matchett

Great place to spend time with family and walk the dogs, ride bikes, make new friends!

BC GOLD HUNTER

A days worth of gold panning

Tyler Johnson

Visited this regional park, there are a few easy trails within the park. The real gem is the turtle pond trail of which leads you to a pond that has tons of turtles. If you are there in the afternoon you can catch the turtles hanging out on the logs. The parking lots are currently at reduced capacity as every second stall is blocked off due to Covid, but during the week when we visited there was empty stalls. No charge for parking or entrance

Bamboozled Nate

Jillian Kailuweit

Beautiful and clean. Great place to stroll or run. Bring your dog!

Matt Scaife

The Greenway is an exceptional place to take friends for a bicycle ride.

Bruce Goett

Most of the people who come here probably spend the bulk of their time at the playground or the grassy area along Springfield Rd. However, if you take the bridge over Mission Creek and head up the hill, you enter a wonderful network of hiking trails that take you past turtle ponds and through a variety of vegetation zones. Great place for trail runners. Nice little oasis in the heart of the city.

Chad C

Best place in town to just take a hike or just sit and watch the creek go by.

Mission Creek Park has awesome walking and biking trails and the Mission Creek Greenest runs right through the park.

Cory Bain-Buote

Great place to bring the kids. Safe playground and plenty of walking trails. It also has a big pavilion that can be rented out for functions.

Cindy Nolt

It is typically a beautiful place to bike, walk, picnic and hike, has a wonderful playground for the kids, an informative learning center, a turtle pond where I've seen herons and other birds, and a creek where salmon spawn. At the moment, however, while the playground is still pristine, the hiking and walking trails are very muddy thanks to the melting snow. No doubt it will be dry in a week or so.

Allee Girling

Certainly not like it used to be when I was a child. All of the little streams have been taken out. My brothers and I used go bare foot in them and play in them. Now it's concrete Creek runs. It's still beautiful and a peaceful place to walk.

Brody

Flippin gorgeous

Always a beautiful walk, several different trails make it interesting!

margaret murray

Lots of open space to let children play and explore

Dave Doiron

Its a great place for my kids and wife and myself to go for a beautiful nature walk

Iris Ph

Beautiful park in the middle of the city. We went here at the end of October and were happy to witness the leaf changing color here. There are trails to walk or bike along. The park is popular with family, kids, friends. There are pine hills on the top of the park. We tried to find the look out spot to see the city from above but were not able to find it though. Nevertheless, it was a nice experience and we are sure to come back here again next time.

Jamie Edwards

Great place any time of the year to go for a walk, lots of trails to explore or just stick to the main path and do the loop from bridge to bridge.

Amos

It's a very nice park for a nice walk in the city.

Young Min Nam

Nice walking trails. Kids & dog friendly. There is a big playground too.

Jo key

It is always amazing just beware of the dog poop

Steven Kastner

Kids likes the park, especially the "monkey bars" which is made up of ropes. They spay enjoyed being at one with nature by walking up off path hills, jumping over the streams and experience the beauty. We're from our of province, in Kelowna only for 4 days but managed to make time to go back a second time.

Mighty Pete

Nature for the whole family and dog friendly. There are plenty of trails and nature to be seen. Bring a bike and hit the trails as well.

James Brown

Dog friendly park that offer free pet waste bags at multiple locations along the park. There is also a rather large kids area with jungle gyms and various other outdoor play equipment. They also have some of the cleanest well maintained public washrooms for any park within the city limits.

Ron Vaselenak

Good spot to bring the Grandchildren too. Go for walks alongside the creek and look for fish or turtles.

Absolutely beautiful little park with very well kept, scenic trails. All trails in this park are quite easy to walk, and relatively short (only a few kms). Beautiful little ponds with great views of the painted turtles and various birds. Gorgeous salmon spawning creek runs through the park near the parking lot.

Kenzie Taverner

It was a lot of fun

kali Hoisington

Yay! Bathrooms and parking

Eric Foxall

Take a walk across the creek and up the stairs to find a lovely mixed landscape of wetland and ponderosa pine, with Douglas-fir growing up in the shade of the little rolling hills.

Kohdee Arborgon

Always beautiful scenery, and well maintained, and the kids love the playground.

Yuri Grozenok

Haven't seen a single bear despite posted BEAR SIGHTING signs. False advertising at its finest.

Michelle Nicholson

One of my favourite parks for walking. Good wide trails along the creek with room for people, bikes, dogs and the occasional horse. Marked side trails along streams, through forest, and to turtle ponds. Wooden stairs, railings make for safe hill climbing.

Robert Wolf

Kids playground. Easy walking trails. No hiking poles needed. Bike paths.

Leon Kopy

Great trails and easy walking for little kids and elderly. Lots of kokanee spawning right now. Only downside is road noise in some spots and quite busy.

Melissa

Fantastic walking trails! Feels like you're outside of the city and it's always very peaceful

MLB Great White North

Great place for friends and family (& dog) to spend a day walking getting back to nature. Enjoy one of Kelowna's remarkable parks. Today was the first snowfall October 23, 2020. A spectacular site with autumn trees with snow on top!

Arun Mathew

Very calming environment

Ali M

This is a great Park. There is so much to explore. We love the turtle pond. There were so many turtles. It's a great place to see the salmon in the fall. And the creek changes so much season to season. The play structures appeal to multiple age groups. The big rope thing looks particularly fun. Just watch were you step, dog owners are not super responsible here and there is evidence everywhere, especially beside the trails.

Micah Mckerlich

This is a great place to go on a nice walk with your family or friends!! Walking along the river is very nice to do and almost of the time you are able to find lots of interesting things such as animals! And if you are a novice gold panner looking to find some gold, you can definitely find some in this river, which can be a lot of fun! This trail goes for a long ways, so you can never get bored of it! Definitely try this walk out if you haven’t before. It is accessible from multiple access points and is all flat!

Joen Mutka

Great place to bike hike or take the dogs for on leash walks. The park is great place for kids and the gazebo and covered area is awesome to have summer get togethers at. The bathrooms are clean and they have a cool learning center with gardens. The glasses that are held there are great and always worth going to.

Leon Frederick

Cool, calm and relaxing atmosphere; place for picnic, park for the kids and while life to see. Clean and respectable folks around. Toilet and drinking water, definitely a place for bike rides, trails to walk or sit an take in the view!

Vanessa Ozanne

Convenient location for dog walking on upgraded trails. Relief from heat in the trees!

Antonio Carlos Brito

Amazing trail to run, bike or walk. Full bathroom on parking at km6.5. A challenging hike from km11 to km16, nice views from the top at km13. Almost flat from km0 (at the trailhead) up to km10. Loved it!! I've been back once more because of its beauty and amazing preservation.

Jessamyn West

My son's & I visit the mission Creek park often. It's always well maintained, clean & feels very safe. The bridges are beautiful & you can be sure to see wild life of some sort along your hike

Matt Funk

Beautiful park. The trail system is quite complicated and I couldn't find a map posted anywhere. I ended up downloading it a map and an app off the website. This works very well except is there seems to be a fork in the trails every 30 meters one must be constantly checking the app. Will definitely have to get to know the trail system a bit better.

Dennis Gane

If your are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Kelowna, this is the perfect place. Located in the heart of Kelowna, without a doubt this is one of the loveliest places to go to take your dog for a walk, run, or just to relax. Lovely scenery and fellow visitors willing to give a smile and say hello. Very peaceful.

Tyson Allan

Catch me here on a sunny day blasting my tunes and zooming down the trails. One of the best places to ride in the city limits and it can take you well beyond them if you're down to ride for the day.

Lindsay Allman

Family friendly with an excellent park for the kids to play and explore.

Cal Manky

Take an easy hike around the park, or cycle to the lake on the greenway. Explore the ponds in the back 40, you might spot the beaver! Please be sure to keep dogs on leash.

Victoria Fischer

Beautiful park in the center of Kelowna. For the most part is very flat and easy for a casual walk or bike ride. But if your on the more adventurous side then there is some winding hill side trails that are great aswell

Lance Goulden

Awesome park and actually has a bathroom you can use all year round unlike all the other parks. There's no planning a good walk or bike in the off season unless you bring your porta potties to 90 percent of the parks in kelowna. I guess they strive to please tourists and not us locals that are here year round

Michael Simpson

Very clean, and very Serene park along the Creek. A great place to go for a good walk.

Josh Pharis

Loads of trails for running, biking, hiking and walking, all in a beautiful natural setting.

Ryan Wilde

Lots of trails and even a turtle pond,

Chris Hanlon

The park has sections ranging from beginner to expert andn the new (spring 2019) jumps are much better than the old ones.

Matthew Lount

Our dog loves the turtle pond (she's not really sure what to make of the turtles, but there are a lot of ducks for her to salivate over), and is obsessed with the marmots along the shore of the creek. There are a lot of places she can nip into the water, so it's a great place for a decent length walk on those 40 degree days! It's a great park for us humans, too, with the aforementioned turtle pond, a kids' fishing pond and play structure, and lots of beautiful pathways. There's plenty of places that you can find some shade (assuming the sun isn't at it's zenith), and there are even some nice views if you explore a little.

Randi Smith

Amazing walk. I wish they would make the long walkways leash free for our dogs. That would be amazing.

Crystal Laceese

Not safe when the people riding bikes ride right thru the kids park.

Kendall Banman

Busy place. Great for families.

kaj paget

Take your lover for a stroll here. Hold hands and walk along the creek. Talk and feel connected to one another in nature. It's easy to bike or walk. If it's a super hot day take a dip in one of many little wading pools.

A nice little hiking spot. A playground for children near by. It's nice. Bring bug spray.

Jason Pharis

Beautiful green space for the whole family. Walk through back to Evelyn island, turtle pond and the fishing pond!

Scott Anderson

A family friendly hiking ground. Plenty of trails that criss-cross each other frequently. Easy hiking and fairly stroller friendly. Along with a large playground and an interpretative center, this makes a great go-to place for family time. There's a pond on the east end where you can find turtles and frogs hanging out in the spring/summer. A local favorite with a good amount of traffic, but the hiking trails are quiet.

Alana McMaster

What a nice little oasis in the middle of the city! Great paths for a bit of a nature stroll. Turtle Pond was great, saw a bunch of turtles and different kinds of birds!

Matthew Spohr

Rob Ewanuk

Wonderful family friendly park! This trail system goes along Mission Creek and is at least 10 km long. If you take the trail down stream long enough, you will end up at Okanagan Lake. There are markers every 500m letting you know how far you are from the lake. There are porta potty's along the trail every mile or so in case nature calls. My Little daughter just loves going on 'hikes' along the trail. Definitely a great place for the little ones to burn off their energy.

chadd1237

Fantastic spot for bike rides or walks. Easy to access with plenty of parking.

Alex Miller

Probably the best park in Kelowna if you want to keep your kids occupied for a long time. There is the eco-centre for learning about wildlife, great hiking trails, the kokanee spawning run, and one of the better playgrounds in town. Highly recommended!

Barb Domeij - McQuary

Great place for a wee Birthday party!

J Wielgosz

This has been a family friendly and family favorite park for more than 25 years. With a huge modern playground, Eco learning center and hiking trails there is something for everyone any time of year. Dog friendly and must be kept on leash, expect to see dog control as they frequent this park often ensuring pet owners keep their animals on leash. They have well maintained washrooms with flush toilets and running water.

Perfect place to stop and take the family on a bike ride. Flush toilets and running water to start and end the adventure. Multiple trails on both sides of the Creek with many bridges and crossing points. Go left, and you have an amazing ride through the shade and light. Go right, and you end up 2 blocks from the beach. The trails are EASY and the views are spectacular.

Justin Thompson

It was cold and dreary today... But still a great place to meet up with friends for a walk!

Steve Braybrook

Beautiful in all seasons. Close to other amenities with flat walking and biking trails.

salman hussain

Nice park with decent swings for kids ranging from the age of 3 years to 12 years. There is a flat walking trail there that is really good and can be rated as a beginner level hike( very easy and wide trail where you can ride the strollers with small kids). This spot is in the middle of 14 kilometre trail, so you can park you car here and walk either east or west to reach the start or end of the trail.

Josh Catt

Fantastic park! The turtle pond was very good and the paths are nice and wide.

Stephen Sloot

Good walking paths for family outings

Andrew Dennison

On a busy evening the playground in Mission Creek Park is packed. There isn't much space for you and your little one to play without waiting in line for slides, swings, etc. On the other hand it's great to explore the creek itself. Lots of trails and bikes paths to ride on and neat little ponds to find deep in the park.

EsprLife

Nice and quiet park. Very relaxing.

Lauren Boynton

The food was great. We had two servers, one was finishing her shift. The second server was extremely warming and knowledgable. I had the Swiss mushroom burger which was delicious and partner had the Sicilian (I think) pizza which was also good. Finished it off with chocolate souffle and a dollop of ice cream. Also they have great choices of craft beer.

Gorgeous easy walking trails. Dog friendly. Great place to exercise and relax

Always well maintained when I visit, kept clean with trails in good shape. The Greenway is an excellent route to walk along the creek with many side trails for a variance in view. Long route to walk if you go end to end. Often encounter very friendly visitors that are also enjoying the park; creating a good atmosphere to be in.

Great place for an urban retreat. A natural haven

Teaghan McDougall

Beautiful trails. Please respect the creek as it's a salmon spawning stream. The walk up to turtle pond has some lovely trees where you can feel far away from thr city

Charm Styles

It's a really great Park on a sunny day for families and kids or to walk your dog or even go for a jog, the park is completely flat and accessible for elderly or handicapped or children or strollers. 1 * off because on occasion there will be drug dealers lurking in the bushes in this park at night just don't go to public parks at night anyways LOL! This is Kelownas largest park aside from City Park and because it's out of the way it does occasionally attract the wrong crowd at night. If you stick to the trails and follow the path there is a beautiful hike going to a lake with turtles and beautiful wildlife, definitely recommend this park in mid July to Mid September.

Derek Hogge

Lots of greenery with wide tar paths yes every1 needs a good stroll now and then

Chaitan Ghanekar

Beautiful park to go for a walk. Lots of trails and information about the surrounding area. There is also a children's playground. I went to the park to see the yearly salmon run.

Kimberly Cornell

I’d give it 5 stars, but for such a central park to have such limited number of swings is a shame.

Glenn Bradshaw

Outstanding keep forgetting about this place but it's always there

Jen

Not enough shade in the playground area, which is also close to a creek around bushes so it'd be really easy for a toddler to fall in and no one would know. Also the bathroom is on the total opposite side of the big shaded picnic/gathering area so seniors or small children have a long long walk to use the bathroom. The hiking trails are nice and fairly well maintained. They also have alot of events there. Worse times to go is >30°C, spring (the pollen is the worse than the rest of town).

Dal Cosby

Water is a tad high, which makes for some interesting scenery. Always a pleasure to stop here.

Jade Raycraft

Always an adventure

Chris Seib (Queso del Diablo)

Great place to go for easy hikes and strolls. Lots of trails, all well marked. Very well maintained park.

Whether you are looking for a photo opp venue or just unwind and hike or walk, Mission Creek is the easiest choice.

B.R.

Beautiful place to walk or bike for people of all ages. Wide variety of trails from perfectly flat to hills. There are ponds and a creek, picnic benches, and a public washroom. Also a nice park just a few steps off of the parking lot for kids to play in. I also really like the fact that it is so close and easy to get to. It is also very well maintained.

Ryan Pender

Nice place for a walk with the dog.

Alexis MacMillan

Great for long (flat!) runs, especially when it's hot. You can also check out the salmon spawning mid-September to mid-October.

Kaiden Osterhold

I really enjoy going to this park for any outing I want. It's great for walks or hikes, picnics or walking the dog!

Himani Gandhi

Great place to hike, to be closer to nature and to socialise. There is a fair amount of wild life to observe and the hike is mostly horizontal, there's hardly any elevation gain. There's a beautiful stream and will kept trails!

Matt Ewald

We walked to the Turtle Pond with our dogs and children. It was a great time! There were a lot of other people there, but every dog we encountered was also on leash so all went well. The trails were very well taken care of, and it was an easy walk. The kids loved the ducks and turtles!

Evan R

A very well kept park and trail system with benches, tables, a playground, bathrooms, pavilion and lots of nature. We walked up to the turtle Lake which was cool. All the Kokanee were dead after spawning so we watched the ducks eat them for a bit. Beautiful acrernoon fall walk and adventure.

Moondust Smith

Such a great Greenspan with a creek and playground too. Picnic tables and shelter as well as bathrooms. Highly recommend this for gatherings and park hangs.

Benjamin Woolhead

A good little family-friendly park with playgrounds and trails as well as a connection the the Mission Creek Greenway.

Zach Brown

Large family friendly park. Busy in the summer. Surprisingly extensive trail network across the creek to the south of the park.

Samira Hurst

It is a beautiful place for a family picnic and a nice walk. You can bike, jog or walk. Stroler friendly and playground on site. Be aware it is Misson creek so CREEK involved. Watch littles very closely and have fun. It offers allot to see and some events within. ????

Maria G Fabiano

Easy access, lots of parking and close to home.

Guri Gill

Very nice Regional Park, well taken care of and great place to take the kids.

Chris Plante

Large park great for kids

David Hughes

Great place to bike along or walk the dog. All the trees and water provide shade a little bit cooler than the rest of the area. Plenty of parking and accessibility for all. Also there are lots of events that happen in it too

Brendan B

I live near the creek and walk up and down it several times every single day and haven't gotten tired of it yet. Good for Pokemon go players as well if you are so inclined. Absolutely beautiful walk and lots of wildlife. Will see lots of birds, bugs, paddle boarders, little snakes (don't worry they aren't dangerous for the most part), and I've even seen a few eagles just a few feet away from me.

Jeremy Orr

Family friendly with a great big playground.

Hanna Karin

Its a beautiful easily accessible park for families and those with disabilities.

George Duffy

We had just come down from Myra Canyon trestles with my aunt from Edmonton and we were looking for a nice place to have the picnic lunch we packed. We found this park in Kelowna and it had very nice tables to have a lunch at as well as nice clean public washrooms. A nice bit of urban green space in Kelowna away from traffic and noise. Great for families. Free.

Guy Rivard

Great spot for hiking and cycling. Beautiful scenery with a flowing stream.

Stephanie Devenney

Beautiful all year round but fall and winter are my favorite times to go.

Kate Kutzner

Walking trails are flat and perfect for strollers or people with limited mobility. It can get icy in the winter, but otherwise the trails are very well-maintained. Plenty of parking, and things to do for kids such as the playground and climbing structures. The washrooms are kept clean and stocked.

Howard Suissa

Well kept park and trail. Great for walking, running or biking. Once you get out of the more child friendly area and up towards Hollywood South and the bike skills park, there isn't much shade. Bring a hat. Purple still pan for gold along the river.

Evan Grunwald

Favorite place to walk my dog in town and a great shortcut through kelowna

Charlene Rose

Nice place to sit and journal.

Heather Sellors

Mission Creek is well maintained from the washroom to the trails. We enjoy every walk and you can change up your trails to enjoy more of the park. I would highly recommend you visit to stretch your legs, ride your bike or just enjoy a breath of fresh air while watching the water flow.

Snakebyter

This is a fantastic park with something to do for all ages. Nice playground for the kids and fabulous walking trails for big kids and the grown ups. The creek runs right thru the park, and when the time is right, you can see spawning fish here. Great information boards on site explaining the amazing nature on site.

David Daniels

It's beautiful! Lovely place to walk your dog

Derek Turvey

Love it for the numerous trails and tranquility of the walks with my dog.

Nate Siebert

The park is wonderful. It's usually quite busy, but taking the trails behind it is always enjoyable. If you have kids, take the trails up to the title pond to give them a fascinating memory of painted turtles. The crowd drawn here is usually friendly young parents and their kids, while the walking trails draw people of all ages. It's quite close to the farmers market too, so you can make a day of your visit! Come at the right times of the year and see the salmon spawn too!

S Rose

anna v

It's pretty there, but haven't seen there something extrodinery. The turtle pod was cute, there were ducks too on Evelyn Island. The signs are pretty misleading, couldn't find the fishing pod. Read recommendation to get there by car from Hall rd afterwards.

JOHN VISSER

Very clean and respectful tranquil

Megan Gorman

Very peaceful

Francine Mader

This is one of kelowna jewels. A shady well attended trail by the river or follow some of the slopes trails. Quite extensive. Watch the kokanee run in early fall........

An absolutely beautiful park! The trails are not maintained at this time of year and get very icy so be careful.

Barb Doran

Beautiful area so close to the city. Walking trails are so scenic and well maintained. Lots of wildlife (deer, bear, birds of all kinds, squirrels and chipmunks, gardener and bull snakes, salmon (during the fall). The EECO center is a wonderful place to go and read or to look at the ever changing displays and taxidermy. The playground is very popular with children under 12. Great place.

My Device

Still no dining in. When it has a spectacular buffet.

Brenda Diebel

The walking trails are wonderful. The park is not so good . For such a big park schools have more they have 1 baby swing 1 special needs swing and 2 big Kids swings and no one wants to share. They have this dangerous rope climbing thing that's very high up . Adults can't get into it so they can help a child if they need it . They take away merry go rounds the big slide I don't get it

samuel wensvoort

Bart Beekmans

Nice trails to walk the dog beautiful in fall , when hot my dog loves to cool down in the creek and perfect for a drink .

Harper Harper

Informative and family friendly but kinda boring.

Christine Thurn

Brought a picnic lunch to the park and afterward we walked to the turtle pond. We were fortunate to see some sunbathing, and a large turtle swimming. The walk to the pond isn't difficult, but there is a long flight of stairs up to the trail, which slowed us down a bit...to a turtle's pace! This is a very nice park and we'll definitely go back!

Alison Forsythe

Children Fishing pond excellent place to teach kids once it's stocked. Easily accessible on Hall Rd.

Chris Carter

So many trails by mission Creek ... love the canyon hike

Robert Wiering

Nice place to visit with many trails for your inexperienced to moderate hikers. Nothing too difficult, which makes it quite accessible. The men's room was surprisingly clean, which normally, no matter where I go, is usually a bit dirty. My only complaint is that the mosquitoes are very abundant during the early hours of dusk and dawn. Also, avoid the turtle pond unless you have bug spray. Over the course of about 5 minutes I killed over 15 mosquitoes.

Jane Richardson

Great play ground. Clean washrooms. Easy parking. Good accessibility. Trails for all levels to walk or cycle.

Melissa Lam

Nolan Grey

Great

saranne hofer

Gorgeous and peaceful. Wonderful park for small kiddies to adventures adults! ????

Brent Forder

I don't understand why the city chose to cut off the big Greenway path that used to go behind the houses near the start of Rutland. It looks like another case of Kelowna city council choosing private control of waterfront over public access. There also isn't clear signage to direct you over the bridge to continue on the path towards Gallagher's canyon... I love the Greenway, but this is disappointing and someone's head needs a shake. Public access to nature should be a priority!

Braum “B-ROM” M

I always seem to visit mission creek park during spawning season. It's a lovely park and watching the fish struggle upstream to spawn and die always puts my own struggles a bit more into perspective.

John Tee

I run on this trail all the way to the lake and back from the Park Entrance off near Dilworth. There are two different paths. I've also run it the other way, and round trip it was 14+ miles. Going out the other way is epic. You get to some amazing views and you have to hike instead of run, but it's worth it. Hands down this is one of the best places to run in Kelowna.

Samantha Kube

Great little place to walk around. The paths could be marked a bit better though as there are several different loops you can walk around.

The Murphy's

4 stars because they need more play structures for multiple age groups. Other than that love that you can walk the trail and visit the eco center and FREE parking

Richard Ford

Wonderful

Sandy Yuan

We did not venture far from the playground. The playground is very nice. Seems to be accessible and suitable for young and older kids (like 10?). My kids enjoyed both structures. The playground is right beside the parking lot and the building that has the washroom stalls. So it is convenient. There is also a little creek right beside the playground that is shallow (just above my ankle) and narrow (2-3 ft). We walked in it. Great way to cool off because the creek is shaded as well. Overall we liked the playground. Lots of big trees, no mosquitoes (late Aug), no sand, clean.

MWL Jeider

A great place to walk and get in touch with nature.

Badger 777

I bike and walk there. Cooler for a hot day, trees provide some shade and cooler temp off the stream. Good gravel path. Easy ride.

Derek DD

Clean and enjoyable. Good parking. Informative signage during spawning season. Many tables for picnics. Park and playground is popular with parents with young children. Good place for drinking your cappuccino while pushing your child on the swing.

CJ Roy

Great walking trails. Away from the hustle and bustle, very peaceful and tranquil. Nice to be in nature within the city. Great place for walking your dog.

Brian Smeltzer

Would give it 5 stars parking sucks for those needed. Thankfully we can walk there. Nice playgrounds open grass covered party areas and a great walk down the trail along side Mission creek. Walk far enough you can have lunch at the creekside pub!

Terrence Chomiak

Nice park for kids of all ages. If you want to come for a bike ride there is decent trails along the creek as well.

Daniel Stojanovic

It's a nice relaxing spot in Kelowna (if you don't get eaten by the mosquitos). A morning walk there was really nice.

Sheena Bauming

We love this park! Trails, playground, lots of green space, dog friendly! We love watching the fish spawn every year. Its a Great park for family picnics or birthday parties!

Scott Martens

Great place to go for a walk

Dorel Pascaru

One of my favorite parks since my family and I moved to the Okanagan.

Sergej Spirjakin

Good place to hike in hot days. There is no cameras, so, stay on the road to be safe. Please, be friendly to the environment and respect others hike. Take the full trip, it's long, but not everywhere same. Check it out.

Kyle Irwin

I take my young daughter here for walks, its flat enough that her little legs can get stretched. It has alot of bridges and you can walk a significant distance if you would like a longer outing. Wide roads, with bikes, dogs and people.

Judith Appler

A nice place to walk or bike trails or just sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Kayla Sawkins

So beautiful! The turtle pond was the kids favorite!

Scott Welsh

This park has great walking trails, although so much deadfall i was concerned about fires... but it is beautiful

steve sirois

great park with trail for either biking walking or to take your furry friend for a walk.familly friendly park with a nature interpretation center and point of interest and activities for kids I personally love it I find it very relaxing.its really perfect for biking as it's a very big park with lots and long trails

BUDDAH BAXWAR3817

Walked to the turtle pond ! Water was low in the pond but the city is fixing that now !

Jennifer Revell

Trails are well marked except for turtle pond. We had a lot of trouble finding it. And the whole trail is a considerable up and down hike so I'd say not suitable for small children

Bonnie Ward

Beautiful park for dog walking or just a nice stroll in the forest along a creek and babbling brook. So close to town but far enough away ????

Stephen Crook

My daughter and granddaughter love this place!

Monique Saebels

Love going for walks here. So many trails to the lake
