This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
Wow! They've done a great job with the lakefront here.
Beautiful park for.outdoor activities. Whether it just having a picnic, go swimming in the Okanagan Lake or go for a bike ride.
Great place to relax and go to dog walk.
Lovely view with an abundance of things to do. It gets roudy when the sun sets! I mean really rowdy!
Great park for kids. Quite a few homeless people.
Beautiful as always. My chihuahua loved it too!
Beautiful park, fantastic walk down the beach, interesting sculptures and amazing views.
Great park. Lots of space if you want to socially distance and get outside to enjoy our great summer weather ????
Gorgeous part of the downtown area. Lots of sports facilities and a promenade across the lake shore to the beach
My 2nd visit at Kelowna and last for tomorrow, the only difference on my first visit and the rest are now they have a parking, before nothing but still beautiful place to visit
Nice big park. Lots to do there. Including a beach, play ground, skate park, water park, basketball court, volleyball nets, soccer field and more
We just loved this park. It was so beautiful and peaceful
Love this place. Nice walks and lots to do.
Wonderful place, nice lake view, lots of place to sit and enjoy your food with family and friends, I love this place
I really love this place, it has a fantastic view. This is one of the nicest parks in the city of Kelowna.
Great place for kids. Spray park, skate park, park and beach.
Lovely park with lots of trees and a beautiful lakeside walking path.
Soft sand fairly clean beach just make sure to get there early
It was a very nice walk at night. It was super lively outside!
Yes, fantastic location and services. Tennis, beach volleyball, lawn bowling, Hot Sands Beach, basketball, grassy areas for slack lining, Spikeball, or whatever, washroom facilities, kids water park, skateboard park, concession (seasonal), and so much more. The large trees create ample shade in the heat of summer. Unfortunately, two aspects at this park have left a bad taste in my mouth. On the minor side of things, parking can be a major problem especially in the height of summer. I'm not talking about finding free parking; I'm talking about finding parking at all. It can get that busy. But the major reason I am coming down on City Park is the homeless issue and all the social ills that go along with it... drug use, public intoxication, panhandling, etc. Certainly, City Park has had a homelessness problem for decades past because of the nearby homeless shelter but it used to be a very small group that would take a small corner of the park and were not noticed by the majority. However, over the last number of years the number of transients (especially during the summer months) has skyrocketed such that they fairly take over the entire centre, grassy area of the park while tourists and locals alike skirt around on the paved outer walkway, seemingly too fearful to venture into the deep netherworld that is now the domain of the lower echelons of our societal fabric. Now, on the one hand the homeless population is by enlarge a gentle and harmless lot and given a chance are polite and doing the best they can in difficult circumstances. And as long as one is comfortable with the surroundings, one may enjoy the peaceful and relatively quiet environment of the park with transients all around. However, on the other hand, it is not an exaggeration to state that drug use is rampant, garbage is everywhere, and foul language is the norm. Mental illness is prevalent and petty crime does happen and unfortunately, this has marred the beauty that once was City Park. As a local Kelownian, I will choose to go to many other parks in this city 9 times out of 10. That said, I have been to City Park many times as well and hung out with the "lowest tier" without fear of my safety or belongings... but not everyone is in the same space as me. For that reason, 3 stars.
A lovely area that has lots to offer. It's got a waterpark, tennis courts, playgrounds, beaches, volleyball, basketball, football pitch, veteran memorial, and great views. It's a beautiful area. The summer can get very busy and it's allot to handle, definitely one of the busiest places in the Kelowna
Nice park but overrun by c.i.'s police confidential informants goof fat heads that for no good reason follow you and watch ur every move if they feel you might be a person up to somthing they could snitch about. Like everywhere now a days! I say target them back! Take their picture and post it so we know who to focus on to encourage them to find a new hobby or to help them work past their hoarding of valuable goods addictions by randomly freeing them of as much as we can lovingly after the dangerous efforts and risks they run just to be informers! As our slogan goes "love ur local rat"
Love cruising bikes through here and playing basketball! Could use some more stuff to do and a new path....
????
I was sitting at a table while visiting this park and a family came over and had me join them for breakfast. This park is special!
Some veiws from the park. Good play structures for kids.
Great beaches but not being able to walk along the shore is terrible. Beach is not a private property!
Favourite park to walk to with my family. Easy access to lake, spray park, playground
Gorillamoves.ca
Good place for walking along the boardwalk and enjoying the views!
Great lake front park, close to many dining amenities, attractions and more. Only bad thing is that some people disrespect others by smoking at the park.
Great weather today! Lots of people and nice water activity thing! The only downside is the size of the washrooms. Not big enough for the amount of people in the park. Huge lineups.
Beautiful Park, lovely place to have relaxing time with family and friends.
Don't go there cause sometimes there are anti mask protesters. But besides that the park is always as pretty as it usually is.
This is the second year we've come here for the kids to enjoy the Wibit, and they loved it once again! The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and the park was busy. They're can be some sketchy people area but they seem to be harmless and the RCMP are around regularly. There weren't any issues so it's not really concern. The park is popular and there are a lot of things to do and sight see. Would definitely go back!
Patrizia, you inspire me. You don’t stop at doing almost everything. Cleaning washrooms, cleaning lawns and OMG like everything literally! You are so hardworking and accommodating and sooo nice!! We had a perfect stay at your campground!!
Huge playground with a kids zip line and the spray park is pretty decent too. Lots of shade, sometimes there's even a food truck right by the spray park. Easily accessible washrooms and tons of parking (however pay parking I believe)
Great beach but rules are loosely followed lots of people smoking here. The water park on site is great
Great little park on the waterfront, definitely worth checking out!
Fair-sized beach. Quieter. Water is a bit colder, has a current and steep drop-off. Area has less trees and is windier. Has facilities and large fields including beach volleyball.
Wonderful park on Okanagan Lake. Amazing sandy beaches.
Great place to relax, swim, play basketball, soccer, or enjoy ice cream
Loved the park. Lots of places to walk and to see the Lake, and Ogopogo!
Loved the energy in the the city! Would visit again!
Beautiful park. I lived here as a child. There have always been transients, but sadly, it is a huge part of the park experience nowadays. Not sure i would come here at dusk or later.
Nice park by the lake with plenty of parking. The playground itself is old, though, and I didn't like the pebble grounds - they tend to get into the childrens' shoes. There is a decent water park next door, too.
We were in town for the evening and wanted to explore abit after dinner. This waterfront-harbour area is really neat. It has a relaxed vibe about it with many outdoor activities options available for use. The area is well kept including the washrooms and walking paths. We intended to only spend an hour, ended up 3.5 hours down there. For a big city, has a small town chill vibe that was quite unique.
A great park, long beach .
Awesome spot for any activities parking is a very reasonable price. We might move to Kelowna soon and this would be one of the reasons.
Beautiful park! The kids love the playground, especially the zip line. The beach is lovely and there are so many things to do there. I love the proximity to downtown and that you can easily walk over and grab food or ice cream.
Cheap parking and vast open spaces. The kids playground needs to be updated a bit but overall a nice park.
Clean and scenic, with a nice early evening vibe. Definitely a must location to experience.
Great space to walk, run, bike or any other mode of transport... or just sitting and people watching. I'm the summer don't miss Wibit the inflatable water obstacle course!
Beautiful park, awesome views. Has multiple kid playgrounds, skate park, and beaches. It has several food trucks in the summer (not summer 2020 for obvious reasons). Perfect for a walk or a bike ride along the park.
Nice place if kicked our antimatter so others can use it on saturdays
Nice place, enjoy lot
Awesome place to cruze on the beach. Lol and bring your dog for a walk.
nice and clean, my kids enjoy the summer at city park zhey love it so much
Not a place I would take kids unless it's to teach them what your future will look like if u use drugs
It was nice that they cleaned up the needles for the car show, no flat tires this time!
Absolutely beautiful. The whole Kelowna area is definitely worth the visit, and definitely check out the park. Well worth it.
Great weekend at Rock the Lake rock festival. Thanks K-town.
Very friendly people and lots of good things to do in Kelowna ????????
Loving beach, very big and lots of space. it has a the boat area near by. Downtown is a walk away from the beach with great place to eat and dine in. there is a little park for the kids and a basketball area. Very convenient for anyone that is looking to spend a day in the beach or walk around Kelowna's downtown.
Great place for kids, clean grassy areas, clean beach and water park with monkey bars
Awesome place. Has everything you can ask for in a park. Has a playgrounds for kids, skate park for older kids. Beautiful beach with great sand. Has a water play park floating right on the water for older kids and adults. Pathway also there for walking and biking.
The city of Kelowna does incredible work keeping our gorgeous parks and gardens alive and vibrant! An increase in security and vagrant management would help to improve our paradise!
Great park
I love to bring my kiddos to the park, but it is often crowded and there's not always enough seating for parents or caregivers. But I mean it's only my opinion. It's a great place to spend time with the fam anyway.
Beautiful sandy beach in downtown Kelowna with view of the valley and Okanagan lake. A 5min walk to the marina and to Bernard street where you will find a great selection of patios and Kelowna's night life. Beach is well kept and does have a couple washrooms and changing rooms in the area. There's also a water park (splash zone) great for kids in the park. A good amount of green space and a couple icecream stands and vendors are also located in the area.
Kelowna city park is a very good park, with lots of squirrels. Oh what a wonderful park, I sometimes take photos in this wonderful park for wonderful people and they sometimes pay me. Do you know what rhymes with Kelowna City Park? Art. What I'm subtly implying is that Kelowna City Park has transcended past the status of park into a higher form of beauty we know as art. I will include photos I have taken at City Park. They are very good photos, as it is a very good park. I love you.
Nice park to hangout
Always something fun happening downtown at the park. Nice and clean.
Beautiful location there is water park Beach
A great park with tons of space, with the beach, sports field, basket ball, water park, lawn bowling, tennis, and great spots to relax in the shade
Well maintained park for family. Can get crowded quickly.
Absolutely breath taking! Resplendent. My favorite part of Kelowna thus far.
Very busy place some nice people.
not sure why its such a problem to have a drink in the park... tons of cops, compared to vancouver parks.
Great park beach area very clean.. ducks and clean water
Nice park and beaches. Well maintained and clean.
Nice beach and tons of activities for any age and preferences. Busier on weekends...
Amazing farm. You can tell the staff lives there and the animals are well tsken care for. First time on a place like this. For covid, they have measures in place with sanitation stations as well.
Love going for walks down here, always with an ice cream
One of my top 5 favourite parks in Kelowna. Lots of greenery. They have a basketball court, huge field, water park for children and very clean public washroom & a changing room.
This place is good for spend time with family.
Clean park, beautiful beach and great water park for kids.
Must see.Good for families who love beach water park was amazing
What a beauty and the park. So well maintained and clean. Police patrol quietly through. Public washrooms are clean, and the view is pretty spectacular.
Its was so nice and lots of people just relaxing and playing volleyball ball or soaking in the sun, having a nice cold drink
I LOVE Kelowna City Park. It's BIG, it's beautiful, good amenities, free parking on evenings and weekends. It's a great place to meet friends for a walk in nature! GOOD therapy!!!
♥️ Absolutely beautiful as I remembered
5 ⭐ for view and activities.???? -1 ⭐ because, a bag got stolen, with all our chargers inside. ????
Very soothing place
This is probably the BEST part of Kelowna. Green, lush, open space beside the lake. Parking is $1/hour, but limited spaces available. The walk along the water leads you to either the bridge or Bernard St. On Bernard you will find a plethora of restaurants with lineups at all of them. Bring good walking shoes, it's all hard surfaces. Dog friendly.
Such a fun park for the kids. Playground, splash park, water park and the amazing lake. Also super convenient since it's located close to many restaurants.
Amazing view of the lake, wonderful vibe, right in the middle of the downtown.
Great place to go visit, lots of real estate for beach, and there is also great areas on the grass with the shade in the trees if one likes. The floating water park is worth every penny for the kids many hours of fun.
Beautiful park with a sandy beach, public washroom and playground. It was a bit windy when we went there but kids still had fun at the playground.
Awesome park! Stunning beach and awesome water playground!
Has everything... Beach, swimming, food trucks, wibit, basketball.... and in the middle of the city.
Very lively and great place to bring the whole family
Beautiful place to walk
Great place to hang out while in Kelowna
Beaitiful place to hand out with family. Love it❤????
A great outdoor family park on the lake
Really nice place to relax and have a good time! Clean and organized!
This is the central park of Kelowna that is why it gets crowded minute by minute. They have spray parks for the kids or adults maybe.. The washroom I am not sure if you can shower after you swim but there was none as far as I remember, the big huge trees are helping us shielding the sun, it was 35 degrees, the hottest temp so far that I have been inside Canada. This place is wide you will not worry about physical distancing.. However' if you want to be beside the beach then expect people left and right. Police are patrolling too every now and then, there are several cyclists along the area so if you have small kids please look after them closely. There are slides too, the big bouncy thing waterpark where you can pay $28. But you have to make sure that you know how to swim and if you have a company look after with each other it can get dangerous because of the crowd. Perhaps no one can notice if someone needs help.
Came here just to see this park and this town.. I'm originally from the Midwest in the states.. I was so moved by the beauty here and the very friendly people that we are considering moving here to live. This is a town I know I could be happy in.. My mother in law and husband feel the same way
I always love it here. There's so much to do: large sandy beach, playground, splash park, skate park, grassy areas, tons of shade, sports courts, floating playground ($), washrooms, easy access to downtown. Big parking lot with paid parking $1/hr
Great town, very friendly great day for a community training group .
About half the park is inhabited by the homeless. The first time I had a picnic there, I found a large murder knife laying in the grass beside my blanket. Definitely do not let your kids run in this park without shoes on and do an area sweep for needles and murder knives before anything. Stay close to the lakeside path or near the water park to minimize the influence of the homeless on your day.
Great place to do so many activities, a kelowna place to be.
Always something beautiful to see. Good restaurants and atmosphere for visitors to the city. Live music by city permitted buskers. Keep in mind that buskers need to have a license to legally perform on the street, consider choosing to tip buskers who have paid for a permit
Lively spot to check out what Kelowna has to offer. Tons of food choices!
Just amazing. You need to visit.
It's just disturbing the number of people actively using drugs or in the open in the park. I guess not much has charged over the years other than less and less is being done to resolve the problem. Just be aware and I wouldn't advise anyone to go here after dark. Sorry
Great place to visit with breath taking views. Be part of the night life by heading to the pier and walking the strip. Restaurants and shops along the way.
Scary place after sunset. RCMP constantly roaming around looking for people.
Not a bad place to visit. We came here on a Thursday and a Friday night, and the experience is very different. Thursday was nice and quiet. Friday was super packed, difficult to find parking, and way too crowded for my liking.
So much to do in one spot, kids will love this and never want to leave. Good food trucks on site, great layout with good shade spots for those who burn easily. Elevate your experience with a para sail, unfortunately I never had a chance to experience it myself, but judging by the sounds and the look on people's faces when they got off it looked fun. Will be back next year, hopefully in a more post Covid world.
It's amazing, fantastic, warm and mind boggling. Such a place for family, young couple, teenager, in short perfect place for everyone.
Dangerous at night..... i was unfortunate enough to be there when multiple stabbings happened.... so go during the day if you want a better experince!!
Really nice park with pretty amazing views. Lot's of parking, playground and Washrooms.
Nice place to hangout with family and friends! Nice view while you are walking around. Lots of water activities to do around.
Quite beautiful. It's a must visit location when arriving in Kelowna. Beautiful beachside and a lot of cute ducks walking around.
Water is so clean, We enjoy swimming.. definitely will come back..
This is a great facility overall, in particular the park area has a variety of places to play and exercise for all ages and equipment is well maintained. We went there for the beach, initially, but we found other nearby beaches to be more fun for the kids in particular. There is a sharp drop off in the water which means you can't go as far out in the water with kids as compared to Rotary or Boyce-Gyro, and being deeper, faster, the water was colder in general. There are also a larger number of boats and personal watercraft in the area, making it louder than Boyce-Gyro. I'd choose this area for the park over the beach, but a good place if you want a bit of both because the play areas are bigger than the others and facilities are more varied here.
It's just a very beautiful scenery and when the temperature is right you could just go for hours
Lovely place to go with friends or family!
Nice open park but could have a lot more benches to sit. Bring your picnic blanket as there are a lot of nice spots. Awesome place for a stroll, play beach volleyball with friends with net set up. A good playground for the kids.
nice area to wind down after a long drive Kelowna is a big city. We parked in the city parking lot for $1 per hour. The visitors centre is well laid out and the staff are very helpful.
Great place to cool off.
One well maintained park by the lake and centrally located in Kelowna.
BEAUTIFUL! And a great sense of community in the area. Easy to access and wonderful to experience and enjoy. Views are terrific and a perfect backdrop for city events
Metered street parking. Free parking after 1700 and on Sunday. Selection of eateries neighbouring the park. Downtown location. Sandy beach along Okanagan Lake. Has basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. Has skate park, soccer field, and swimming area.
A+ park, kids games, waterfront, and a very green grass.
They have awesome basketball and volleyball courts. The view is beautiful and has lot of space to be on the beach.
Beautiful, clean nice place for family
First time to visit here
Excellent park, full of facilities with the beautiful lake as a backdrop. Perfect picnic location and picturesque, cannot recommend enough
Nice place to spend few hours with your friends or family
A must see for all world travelers. Anytime of the year is a great time to go to this park. Close to downtown, a wonderful beach, full trees. Watch out for the homeless but they aren't harmful..
Loved the place..kids enjoyed on the pool park.
Loved it.
Very nice place to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery
Excellent layout. Was there for the fathers day car show and they did a fantastic job. Great views and a nice cooling breeze off the lake. Very clean. Plenty of garbage cans.
Beautiful place to spend a day with your family and or friends. You won't be disappointed.
Lovely park with lots of shade, grass, and beach! Lovely waterpark and yummy local good trucks.
Relaxing waterfront
Tons of fun for the kids. Hours of fun for the older kids on the Wibit, and the splash park and playground with zipline for the younger one. Big grass fields, clean washrooms, lots of sandy beach and the lake. Plus lots of cheap parking. Great all around
A nice walk on any day,
I am not sure if the people of Kelowna truly understand how fortunate they are to have such an incredible park and beach, right at the center of their town. …
Beautiful views and great for runs.
Love this place, a favourite of mine. Was really busy and getting busier all the time. But the park and amenities are excellent so enjoy.
April in City Park.
Cheap parking. Lots of green space. A nice view.
Beautiful place????????????
Very cool art walk experience! I have never been here before but I have purchased their wines in the past because of their beautiful bottles. I enjoy their wines, and the event was intimate and pleasant. Great service and friendly smiles all around!
This place has so much to offer... I love the place coz it is so Clean, it has a huge area to bike with friends, even skates. So many restaurants nearby, wineries as well.. I definitely love and recommend this place to visit when you are at Kelowna BC
Great atmosphere
Great fun with friends
Good place to enjoy. Water park for kids is a plus. Gets crowded on weekends.
Wonderfully clean, people respectful and free parking on weekends till early May
It's an amazing beach and park for the young and old. A great spot for a swim in the lake or a picnic. There is a playground, tennis court, skateboard park and a water park. Washrooms are clean and easily accessible. Parking is scarce in the summer months, so be prepared to park elsewhere and walk. Definitely a nice place to spend an afternoon or take an evening stroll.
This is a very beautiful city. Perfect for marine activities and offering many restaurant option with alots of terrasse. Everything cost more then anywhere else around except for the gaz! It is a most visit but will recommend people to not spend too much time there or it will cost you much more then expected for absolutely everything! Regardless of the living cost it is a very beautiful city. Temperature are much higher then Vancouver area and the road trip experience is still worthed. Enjoy the ride. Have a good day
First time visit and lovin’ it! We’ll be back next time!
Really close to where we live we walk down with our wagon and water and enjoy the beach and the park right behind it almost daily! There is paid parking for 2 hours and repeat if u can get a spot! So come down early or walk and leave the car at home
City park is a beautiful place to sit and relax in the shade reading a book. There wasn't a lot of people there mid day which was nice as well. So much has changed in this park in the 20 years it has been since I was there last.
Best ever place to eat and order, Delicious food , friendly staff, Best breakfast and lunch+dinner in town
Fun walk, great people watching. Lived the scenery and Boardwalk. Delta looked great. Parking was cheap.
Beautiful as ever but Smokey KELOWNA summer.
Sports fields, playground, volleyball court, skateboard park, swimming area, washrooms, and a popular waterpark. Pay by the hour for parking and walk the paths.
Hot Sand Beach. Nice place for swimming
Absolutely amazing here!! Beutiful views amazing beach only down side is theres lots of homeless people walking around but can't really blame them lol
Really sad place to go, The homeless population has over run the park and sadly this park is not what it used to be.
Nice park. Gone a bit downhill over the years.
Beautiful area to stroll around. Lots of places to eat and chill.
No one was wearing mask no social distancing and park was full with drunk people
My family has been going to Kelowna to see family, for over 30 years, and always go to this park. There's a nice path along the lake, and lots of spots to chill in the shade under a tree or in the sun on the sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake. There's often musicians, vendors, and hot air balloon rides. At the marina, you can sign up for lots of water sports, and tours. Or rent an electric scooter! Our fav park in Kelowna! This photo is of a really cool statue along the boardwalk.
clean and well maintained. great for family or friends outings!
The main city park with lots of space to walk, spend time at the beach, and even view wildlife at the Marshes. Many events occur here, including the Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim.
Come early , be ready for pay parking on site
Awesome place.
Love city parks.
Fantastic park albeit a tad crowded at times. Tons of activities to do and loads of unique fun things for all ages. There are basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, a soccer field and tons of other great amenities for beach goers.
It's a quiet place, a good place to indulge in thought.
Nice place to kill a few hours and a great place to have a car show!
Had a great time here catching the sunshine and enjoying the beach. Parking lot can be challenging but the turn over is not to bad and a short wait and you can usually get a spot. Lots of trees for shade and green space for picnics or play. Beach is great and water is incredible. Lots of human watching available and boating traffic makes for great entertainment as well. Bathrooms available and changing space to get into a bathing suit. Worth a stop.
very nice beach and park to walk or sunbathe play baseball...
Every fathers day when my Dad and I are home from work we do our best to stop in and see the car show. This year was a GREAT!! turnout. Keep up the good work Kelowna ????
Waterfront, live entertainment, free WiFi, great place for kids and Pokemon chasing adults on electric scooters. Rarely I give 5 stars but this is the go-to starting point for visiting Kelowna. Free parking after 6 or $1/hour or $6 for all day. Dooitt.
Nice place to visit. The sand by the lake is amazing, water is shallow, spray park right there and available parking nearby. The
One of The Best Place to Visit
It is not that special but it is fresh air and nice view, but the people is so ignorance, like I was saying hi to them, most of them didnt reply back, that is suck.
Hot weather. ..
Love it! Great for family outings specially with kids.
best Park I've ever walked in my life. Theres so many chihuahuas.
My kids had so much fun....
So beautiful for a walk, kids playground, skate park, kids waterpark. Lake and beach plus picnic tables for lunch.
Always a great place to visit considering we haven't been here for 30 years. So many changes but still a great walk around the lake.
In the heart ok downtown Kelowna. Well maintained. Has a lot of attractions nearby and a great view of Okanagan lake.
It's a great place to spend time, the view is great! The parks clean ,well maintained!!The flowers beautiful everywhere!
We love going early morning before it gets to busy. There is alot of things to play on for many different levels. By mid afternoon the playground is empty but the parking lot is full. There is alot of shade and the water is close by. It is a good place to send the day or a quick trip to the zip line.
Beautiful clean park. All amenities including change rooms, bathrooms. Great boardwalk, sand beach, swimming area, kids spray park, tennis courts, basketball and beach volleyball. Connects right at city centre, easy walk for ice cream. Can't say enough.
Beautiful, well kept park. Great place for a family get together. Right on the edge of Okanagan Lake! Gorgeous!!
nice place, and lots of people having fun
BC province kids basketball games awesome day in awesome park :)
Great view with beach..
A very nice park, busy, we enjoyed the water park
What a gem in the downtown core. Lovely year round. Can't drive by without stopping as the kids cant resist the ZIPLINE- doubly so when there is no one else using it. How do they keep the grass so perfect? What's the secret guys and gals?
The family always has a great time here. Beach is clean, there is an amazing water park and a fun play ground.
Best water activity place in Kelowna, beautiful park for picnic or to spend a relaxing day. Very economical parking.
Beautiful park. Parking is pay parking
It's windy and chilly in evenings when wind flows down from mountains otherwise the beach is good. There are not as many branches as there should be though.
The best beach for kids in Kelowna!
Beautiful park, clean and well Maintained. Great walking paths And beach area looked tidy.
Best park around here!
Nice park, reminds me of English Bay I'm Vancouver. Can get quite crowded.
Have great view, near the beach, can have great walk near the water
Loved this place ..very clean and beautiful..I will be back for sure!!!
It's always a beautiful place to visit. Lots to do along the Lake Okanagan such as biking, walking, riding boats/cruises, paragliding, eating on patios and much much more.
Nice well maintained path, shared (foot/bike), can be a little busy on the path. Trees for shade and good lawns, washrooms available
Beautiful sight, if I lived here I would spend most of summer just in this park.
The sand is so silky soft. The water is crisp and clear. Not as crowded now that everyone is back to reality with school! Socially distanced small crowds. ???? I love the accessibility of this beach! And its close to shops and restaurants of all sorts! There's a playground for kids as well as a water park. I also love running along the boardwalk that stretches all the way past The Grand!
lots of amenities for kids and families! parking is only $1/hr but hard to find.
Beautiful after sundown. The lights on the water really shine. Get some ice cream, sit by the water and just relax. Also people watching that fun too.
Good place to walk around
Really nice park. Beaches were clean. Disappointed in the cleanliness of the washroom, we used it right after they cleaned it and it was still a mess.
Beautiful, clean. Definitely would like to revisit
Was very clean an hugely spacious park. Especially due to Covid19 and spacious enough to practice safe distancing.
Great sand, sea, and weather. Have fun.????
Spent a few hrs while my son played on the Wibit. He had a BLAST
Beautiful park and great beach. Loved the splash park, tha water is colder than the lake.
Beautiful and peaceful beach to swim and sun bath
Amazing park with huge, beautiful beach, football field, basketball courts, skate park, flower gardens, bathrooms, WIBIT (extra cost), tennis courts, 2 big playgrounds. Must-visit while in Kelowna!
Beautiful park and beach. Also lots of activities to do for kids of all ages.
Good place for a little stroll. Quite a lot of people around so maybe better to avoid for people unsure about the virus. But definitely a good place for an evening stroll, as I love looking over the water around sunset.
Lovely time of year; serene, peaceful views and ideal for bird watching.
Spent the whole day on the beach, it was awesome.
Great place for the hot day. There is playground, spray park and the lake. There is a lot of shadow in the park. Parking is $1 per hour.
Awesome! Had a blast with my family.
this is best place to be summer time in kelowna . I wish can go agine hear.

City parks are great. Helps that there is a lake here . If I lived here I would visit everyday
Great place for Summer activities with family.
Just plain beautiful amazing I loved it the view is great and the fact there's a blowout for kids to just get the life jacket on and just go up and down float it's just amazing experience that my son loved it we were exhausted by the end of the day but I would definitely do it next year
Nice place to walk quiet safe place
Nice Park! Family friendly! Great event!
I take my kids here and they love the Ogopogo!
Big and beautiful
We love the lake front, boardwalk & downtown atmosphere here in city park. The last year has become quite scary to walk here alone with the amount of homeless people laying in the park, asking you for money , items etc and being confrontational. It’s beautiful for a family walk none the less
Decent. Good road food. If you like them gizzards, they got rained good ones.
Was busy but it's normal. Not a big fan of the electric scooters as we were dodging them a lot. Only one used a bell, no helmets not one. Was nice to be in the 26c water even if it was up to our knees.
Kelowna City Park has a wildlife sanctuary with deer, eagles, fish in the pond (that only what I actually saw). The walking/biking/running path along the lake is well maintained any time of the year. It has waste bins to keep it clean. The park hosts various events throughout the year catering different ages from children to adults. There is a beach, children playground, tennis courts, performance stage, skating rink, boat and sea plane docks. Pretty much anything for anyone. The park is very popular with locals and visitors!
A nice city part. the only concern is about parking, busy and you have to pay...
Beautiful city park right on the waterfront. Lots of benches along the paved trail to sit on the waterfront. Nice sandy beach with a swimming area that I suspect is really busy in the summer time.
Was great today lots of people. Everyone keeping their respectable distance. Only getting a 4 because not enough change rooms.
It was very funn my kids are very happy ????
Beautiful place. Can walk it for days.
Walked thru the park on the way to the ribfest it looked clean with beautiful water front. lots of sights to see and a play area for the kids
