My wife and I just had our wedding here on Sept 6th. A beautiful spot for a relatively inexpensive fee, with good amount of space and seating. Only improvement could be some brush taken down by the pavilion on the lake view to enhance the photos, but other than that it was amazing

This gem of a park/beach is way off the beaten track but therein lies its charm. Just off a windy, residential, lakeshore road, 25 minutes from town, it's far enough away that the majority of tourists and party animals give it a pass. Instead, you have local families enjoying the myriad amenities packed into a relatively small acreage. Sand beach, interpretive signs, pier, marked swimming area, picnic tables, washrooms/changeroom, playground, covered picnic area, spot for kayak/SUP launch (boat launch is at the nearby park closer to town) even a little outdoor wedding ceremonial spot... it's all here. Choose between a shady, grassy spot underneath large and leafy trees or suntan out in the open... your choice. Sure, the parking lot is small but that helps keep the numbers down. As I said; one of my favorites.

Relative hidden gem. Lots of shade on the beach, which makes the 40 degree days that much more enjoyable. If you get there early you should find parking in the lower lot but if you don't there is tons of parking to be had in the overflow lot and it's no more than a 6 min walk to the lake.

What’s not to love? Rocky “beach” but plenty of grass to set up for the day on. Kids had a blast in the waist- chest deep water (they are 6&7), nice long pier to walk out on, and QUIET!!! We were there from 930-330 and maybe 5 other families were around us. No rentals, there are bathrooms and a gorgeous view. The best part is that your 5 minutes from Carmelis goat cheese, for some delicious, locally made gelato.

All depends what you're after in regards to a park. Lots of room for family functions and bbqs. The beach is rocky so you'll want to have footwear for walking in the water if you're like me. Not much in the way of playground equipment.

This park is suitable for people of any age, with plenty of parking. Several simple trails are convenient for parents and children. Fishing dock, beautiful view of the lake, a good place to picnic on the wide lawn and enjoy the sunset in summer. You can also rent some places in the park for outdoor parties and weddings. Bring children and pets to play in the park beware of mosquitoes and ticks.

Quite possibly one of my more favorable spots to picnic or Bbq. it's a more relaxed beach atmosphere. Family friendly with lots of room for bocce or hacky sac. Great place to launch your kayak or stand up paddle board.

Well maintained park and typically only attracts locals so it's not super busy either. Playground, picnic area, public washrooms, large field, pavillion, trails and beach areas. Something to note though is that dogs, even on leash, are not allowed in this park.

This beach has some outstanding views, lots of space to sit and very big bathrooms! The downsides however, the parking is quite limited, hills are very long and steep to reach the beach and the water is unfortunately very rocky. It's a very good floaty location however!

A nice secluded area! We rolled into this park and found ourselves all alone in a beautiful park. There was absolutely no one around and we were able to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. Great place to take pictures of the sunset. Plenty of parking and very nice.

Great park with a few beaches to choose from to hangout on. There's 2 actual parking lots to choose from, the extra one is just up the road. The beach we visited was in a nice cove and had a rocky beach area. No sand to get places you don't want. There was a bathroom close by the beach as well. There's a large soccer field area at the top area by the parking lot with only one goal posts. Water was nice and the crowd was family, couples and everyone else.

Nice beach away from the hustle of busier beaches in and around DT. A pretty drive along lakeshore rd takes you past a few of Kelowna’s nicest wineries, Summerhill Pyramid , StHubberts - Oak Bay Estates and Cedar Creek, stop in and grab a bottle to make your day extra special. We were here the first weekend of covid opening there was lots of room to keep your distance from other families. When we first arrived we set up on the right to get a good spot away from others... it was filing up fast. After we set up I walked around and found the other part of the beach. This is where I’d set up next time, the right side is grassy and where the geese hang out so lots of poop. Left side is ideal. We spent a good afternoon boarding around, there was plenty of others on SUP’s, Kayaks and floaties. The boaters/jet skiers were keeping a pretty good distance, they left a couple good wakes so be aware of your surroundings. There is a nice peir with benches to take it all in. A sandy volleyball pit in the shade, bathroom facilities and a picnic area would make this a great place to have a family BBQ/Picnic. The walkinto the lake is rocky bring your water shoes or sandals. Get here early for a good spot I’m sure now that we’re halfway through summer it will get much busier.

Playground, washrooms, tables, swimming area, swimming area that is marked off although the beach is pebble and stone so water foot wear helps, grassy areas to sit and play and a small railed walking pier that allows you to observe the lake from a different perspective.

Used the smaller north side entrance for my mom`s memorial service. Couldn`t have asked for a better place, with great weather, and the park area is well maintained. The pier is a real attraction we never used that day. You are able to book the gazebo for events through the RDCO office. Great place ot have a barbeque with family and friends...lots of trees...

It's a decent park, you will find Gardner snakes, marmots, deers, mosquitoes, we noticed glob of bear poop, some wild hemp or cannabis is growing in the park that I find strange. The cliff where the children play off of I find very dangerous and should be fenced since it's right beside and above the swing and slides. It's a. good 25ft or more drop. Not very child safe at all. Btw cougars have been spotted time to to there. The dock is amazing and looks good to fish on. Washrooms are well... public.

A picturesque and secluded piece of paradise that's not overcrowded like Gyro or city beach. A playground for children to saunter to and grass for geese to poop on. If you're lucky you'll see a deer wandering around. If you're unlucky you'll see a cracken . But those are the risks you take when you go to the beach.
