Great water park for kids. It's free, has a concession, changing rooms and lots of parking. For now, very busy as the downtown Kelowna park is being fixed after getting damaged from spring flooding. Other side of park is skate board area, and outdoor hockey rink. Rough elements are seen walking around at times; probably harmless but not sure what they are doing...

The park is well laid out so kids can play without being far from their parent. We felt safe with the presence of an officer, who stood at the playgrounds edge for the entire 3 hours we visited. My daughter was thrilled when he introduced himself and gave them all high fives. Concession is well priced if that's your thing and the washrooms are clean and well kept.

Is there a more kid friendly place on a scorching day? Out of the 3 spray parks in Kelowna this is definitely the one to make the trek to. Little water slide, tons of sprayers and right next to a decent little playground. Water park hours are 10a to 8p. Tons of parking. Easy to find shade. Highly recommend.

The one downfall is the young kids leaving garbage where they are sitting close to the road however I did see and elderly couple cleaning up the other night. Wish Their was a bit more by law enforcement walking around to ensure the kids are not distorting the place.

I thought this playground was really good and my little boy (2.5 years) really enjoyed it. My only issue was it was next to the road and there was a few places he could have got out. It can be difficult to watch your child all the time and this playground made me a little nervous for this.

Ben Lee has something for everyone! There's the large skatepark for those skaters, scooter riders and bmxers. There's plenty of open field for frisbee, soccer, lounging and running around. There's a great hockey area! Their splash park is great for all ages! We spent the whole day there, and will gladly return for many more picnic days here!

What a great park! The path circling through the park is almost exactly one kilometer so it makes for a good walking or jogging track. Always lots of people here playing frisbee or flying kites in the field. There is a skate park and lacrosse box. The waterpark is always full of kids in the summer. People picnicking, BBQing, etc. There is a concession with usual types of food that is open in the summer too.

A nice large grassy park with a paved walking path that goes around the perimeter. It has a waterpark for the children (seasonal), playground, skate park, ball-hockey rink and of course bathroom facilities (also seaonal). Plenty of parking on both ends

Great place for a stroll in any season or weather as the path gets plowed of snow and the pavement isn't too slippery in the rain. The path is wide enough for two couples to pass each other without stepping off trail. I'm not one to drop in, but the skatepark looks cool and the other facilities seem well kept. Lots of parking in comparison to other parks and trailheads. It's just a pleasant spot to enjoy the trees and some fresh air.

Last but not least the water park and kids play area I always hear laughter, screaming when running through the water and families chatting in the background or even a gathering or a event. Honestly this is the most underused park in Kelowna. With a beautifully paved walking trail that loops the park it is ideal for little kids on bikes, scooters, wheelchairs and more. The water park and bathrooms are well maintained. The kids playground accommodates kids with special needs and is uniquely set up. The skate park is situated at the back of the park and away from both the spare park and kids playground giving each group their own space. The grass is luscious and great to walk in barefoot. The enclosed hockey / lacrosse rink is hardly ever used and would be great to see kids playing in it.

The water park and kids play zone are very well laid out and with great equipment. There is nice landscaping for shade or sun and nice picnic tables as well. Ample parking and great washroom facilities. Definitely a great summer stop if you have children.

Beautiful Great Park with the lovely walking path during the day my only worry is the safety at night I definitely wouldn't recommend going there for anything after the sun goes down due to the Shady individuals that tend to inhabit it at night I've heard of syringes and other things being found in the playground areas but I haven't seen them firsthand but please keep that in mind when visiting

One of Kelowna's many green spaces. We'd often play sports and run laps around the track as part of our Physical Education at HCS, right across the road. Generally a great family park but do mind the odd creepy character that comes through. I recall seeing an "inadequately dressed person" sitting on a bench watching our 4th grade class play soccer one morning... Supervision recommended for kids! Also "The Bowl" in the skate park is a serious death trap in the winter!

Nice place to walk or hang out regardless what age. Has a skate park, waterpark, tennis court, probably the nicest playground in town, and a nice path to walk with plenty of shade. Parking lot is a little small but usually ok unless its nice weather on the weekend then it's super busy and you're best to street park.

Very nice park with a paved walking walking trail, great water park for the you've kids and a cool skateboard park for the older kids. Lots of grass and several picnic tables. Good parking.

We went to just the place park, not the water park as it is too early in the season, but the park was wonderful. My son is 3 and he was able to play on most of the playground however it is not meant for just young children. It is very accessible for all ages.

We walk everyday and then sit to just watch and enjoy the skateboard , bikes and rollerblading. As a Sr I wish the kids and young people had more all Seasonal activities here that were free as most activities cost money and too exspensive for most to enjoy. For example. Why couldn't a huge amount of dirt be brought in for families to toboggan in winter. A hill where people could walk up and slide down on both sides so double the amount of sliders could fit. I really miss Flintsones, McDonald's and Waterslides that were nice and close. I loved tourist in the town with my kids when we moved here in 1989
