An amazing landscape to enjoy in autumn on a clear day. We were lucky enough to have white puffy clouds that day that reflected off smoith, clear waters. Dont stop at the parking lot or mini petting farm. Walk 5 minutes towards in and stroll along the mini beach.

True enjoyment is hard to find. But not at Westsyde Petting Zoo. I live bringing my family here no. Matter what time of day, or day of the week it is. My daughter is always in heaven, daddy is always calm and happy and this mamma at peace. It was a great visit for mothers day ???? I'm so grateful for this little park, and so is my family.

Love this place.. A cute petting zoo, with a playground and a water park... Lots of green space to play catch.. There's a dog park and access to the river... Make sure to bring change for the petting zoo.. It's free but it cost money to get feed for the animals... It's cheap at $5 a bag for goat food and 25¢ for bird feed... And the money helps keep the petting zoo going.. The animals are really friendly...

This fair-sized park is a place to enjoy walks, baseball, other sports, and events. A privately run bird and small animal park is next to Westsyde Centennial Park; no entry is allowed into this small animal sanctuary, but families can purchase food for the animals and feed them through the chain-link fence. A few of the birds and animals are exotic varieties! Cute!

This is the best park in Westsyde and one of the best in Kamloops. The playground and water park are great for kids and lots of field space for activities. The new pump park for bikes is great. There are multiple public washrooms and a good amount of parking.

Great area for kids! Water park is awesome and the playground is so fun! Lots of shaded areas as well near the water park. Not alot of picnic tables but lots of room for picnic blankets. Ample parking! Also a petting zoo... you can feed the animals and then there is also access to the dyke for a nice walk. Plenty of public washrooms. Lots of green space if you want to throw a frisbee! Dog friendly area.

This little park has a number of things to keep families busy. There is a small animal farm, where visitors can purchase feed, to give to the goats, sheep, emu, llamas variety of fowl and pigs. There is a river trail around the park, in which you can walk, run or bike ride. A recently added small bike section complete with plenty of jumps for those ambitious little riders, clean grassy areas, picnic tables, water park, playground, and an off leash dog park on the other side of the trail. There are washrooms both ends and in the winter the rink is made into an outdoor skating area. In the summer a basketball court. Handicap and bicycle parking available.

There's baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis court, basketball court, a full size skating rink, kids water park and a nice playground. This park has been a favorite of mine for 15 years. Playground, picnic tables, dog park, beach access, tons of field / grass space, loads of trees, splash park in the summer, washrooms, plus all the animals are a favorite for the kids. Have become mildly concerned about the condition of some animals recently, though... some with filthy, matted hair/fur; some limping; goopy eyes and noses... not entirely sure what's going on with that.

The coolest thing of all is a personal petting zoo with a llama, chickens, goats the coolest Birds you've ever seen. Even big old Pigs. Got to go check out Centennial Park.

The best park in Kamloops by a long shot. Came here for a walk with my girlfriend and we were surprised to see there is a loaded petting zoo! The goats here are extremely happy and active. All the other animals are well kept and clearly enjoy the place. There are vending machines for people and the animals. Prices for feed are extremely cheap. Bring quarters and loonies! Great place to spend a couple hours, very chill being around the animals.

Love that place. It has a little farm you can feed the animals. The guy charges $10 for a bag, which is a bit costly but will leave it at that. It has a few ball parks and at the end of the park, there is a rink you can play ball hockey and basketball. Few jungle gyms for the kids and plenty of space to walk.

We have loved this park for many yrs. The animals there are not only precious they're funny and very friendly. There are affordable options for feeding the animals which adds to the enjoyment for everyone...have fun and don't go broke. Of anything to do in Kamloops, with your spouse and kids or just yourself , I highly recommend this place. It'll make anyone smile.

Did a cyclocross race here. Lots of parking, had bathrooms and biking around while roosters crowed and sheep bleated was really neat! (There is a petting zoo) There are beautiful singletrack trails leading to the water.

Great space to take the kids in the summer. Access to change room and washroom facilities. Water park, play structure, and fields for many outdoor sports (Summer and Winter). And, it's right next to a local no fee petting zoo. Easy to fill a day with the family here.

Centennial Park A very interesting hidden park on your way out to Westside, there is a inconspicuous but very large Park thats great for chilling out at. The grass is amazing there's even a very clean boys and girls wash room. There is also a place for kids to play for the teen it's close to the river so you could play a game of football and then jump into the river. Also for the kids there's a small petting zoo more or less in the park, make sure to bring a handful of quarters because you can feed the animals corn and kibbles from a vending machine.
