Nice trail system for Kamloops. Needs updating in a few spots where the trail just kind of mysteriously disappears and then comes back. Watch the signage as it isn't always so clear.

Atmosphere seems to be catered more for, or at least it's used as: an off leash dog park. Ok potential but too many uncontrolled dogs invading personally and family spaces.

While the River Trails don’t start here, I often start my run on this side and run over to Schubert drive. River trails also branch off towards McArthur park.

Wonderful place to grab some fresh air and some sunshine. Parks are well maintained by the city. The trails are in excellent condition. Beaches are nice along the river. Some very nice scenery to take in.

Always a nice walk through the park, along the river and under a wooden bridge. Also a great beach and dog beach and park.

Great walking path along the South Thompson. Good for roller skating too, just watch for others as it does get busy. Dogs are allowed on the trail between Pioneer and Riverside but then must head up to the road to go around.

Lovely paved walking trails along Thompson Rivers in both North and South/downtown Kamloops. Very easy walk for all fitness levels. Well maintained even in winter (might need a day or two after a heavy snowfall to be cleared).

Nice long trail that goes along the river. Goes through Pioneer Park and Riverside Park and all the way to the Horseshoe Club on the other end. Good for riding bikes, skateboarding and walking. Have it four stars because I wish the pavement would get redone to smoothen it out.

Great walk along the river and a lovely look at the flowers and sculptures along the way. Loved the stone slab sculptures and Pioneer cemetery. Lots of people out and about with dogs and good energy.

Great place to bring your dog, or just to hang out with friends. We have a pretty energentic dog and they love playing on the beach and in the water. Fun to swim in the summer and LOTS of pokestops too if that's your thing. Not a lot to do in Kamloops but this is a good place to spend your afternoon.
