Beautiful park. Great central location in kamloops. Clean and well maintained bathrooms. We had a gathering of over 100 people (permits were a pain, and the booking people we not helpful at all) with no issues. The play structures are some of the best in the city.

I have to agree with Patricia the park amenities are wonderful and the kids have a great time but today when I was there there was broken glass all over the actual playground and shards of broken glass at the bottom of the big green slide all mixed up in the wood chips. It's a shame for the city put in and effort with new playground equipment for kids at nice upkeep of the park only to see it vandalized with paint and broken glass all over the place :(

Gave 2 stars because it’s a great place, but lost stars because amid COVID-19 the personnel let 3 families (1 before, 2 after) with out contest, but looked at our family discouraging us from bringing food for “numbers” reason and also took a walk around the pool counting “to make sure there was room” we were the only people he did this to.

The park itself is nice. There is even a splash pad and pool there. Unfortunately, each time I have gone with my kids, there was broken glass in the playground/splash pad area(s). The park is quite clean, so it's probably drunk teenagers ruining it for the kids.

Lovely park. Well maintained play area, good for small children. Water park isn't currently turned on yet, but we're hoping soon - otherwise 5 stars!!! Tables in nice locations, and lots of shady areas on the lawn for blankets. We'll be back soon. ????

The park itself is very nice and decently maintained. This is a children's playground, but people with dogs and no kids seem to be taking up all the tables and using the splash pad as a place to cool off their pets. Also the same people think they can just smoke anywhere. Maybe the city should have more bylaw officers doing rounds and ticketing people for smoking where children are playing. So ignorant.

When my grandkids were playing in the pool. Then, someone decides to let their kids play with a huge blowup thingy n no one was watching their movements and it went over my granddaughter n the two just kept on playing n not realizing she was underneath. So, be warned of the danger.

This is a great little.park for family with kids . The wading pool is perfect for coming down to area is treed and the playground I fun for the kids when ready to warm up. Picnic tables and washroom s and change rooms were clean large grass area for running around or throwing a Frisbee or ball.

We really love this park for its accessibility and fun play spaces for the kids, plus lots of shade and grassy space for the kids. Unfortunately there are regularly adults smoking and using the space without children and the bathrooms are not great spaces. It's usually a decent experience but we have had a couple poor ones.

I have always lived this little gem of a Park in downtown Kamloops, a perfect spot for all different events. Children's playground, wading pool, a lot of mature trees fir shade, Fitness classes, picnic tables and benches. I also host my bookclub at this central park on Thursday evenings...weather permitted.

We love this park! There's something for the whole family and aside from a few times here and there, the equipment is always maintained really well. We love the splash pool and the fact there's washrooms on site is a major bonus with 4 kids. The only thing that could be improved would be a few more picnic tables since on a busy day they are almost impossible to catch. Otherwise, it's one of our boys favourite parks in the city!

Great little kids park (0-7yrs old primarily). Pirate ship & other play structures really geared to young kids. Waiting pool is a hoot for thenlittle ones too. Summers havenprograms held here including kids oriented outdoor plays. They also have a public bathroom on site. Across the street is a great place to enjoy a piece of pie & coffee.

There were so many bees! Also quite a bit of trash around and a large pile of brush near the splash pad. Also the splash pad has a concrete base instead of the rubber base that can be found at other splash pads. Also my 2 year old found an empty alcohol bottle near the play equipment.

It's nice out at night time. At this time of year there aren't a lot of people out there at night so it's a good place to just lay on the grass and look up at the stars. Even though I'm an adult I still love to play on the swings. What I did notice the most is that they upgraded a lot since I was there last. The playground is bigger and in my opinion is a lot safer as well. They also have a children's splash pad and there's also a public swimming pool and also a basketball court.

Prince Charles Park in the heart of Kamloops is a beautiful park. It's amenities include public bathrooms and changerooms, splash pool, numerous and varied playground equipment. There are plenty of trees for shade and picnic tables for a meal in the outdoors.

Its one of the best eating place ....we were six people and we were so impress with the staff the food was 5++++ the flavors were excellent..only one suggestion you must serve a better bread your bread needs to be more of a crusty bread. Can't wait to return to your restaurant soon...great restaurant

Great park! Has washrooms, a few picnic tables, a great playground, beautiful healthy old trees, and some green space! There is a fence all the way around, with a few opening for entering and exiting. I loved this park as a kid, and still like it as an adult! The merry go round is safer than the ones from my childhood, but actually fun (2 stories and a wide spaced net along the outside to hold onto, climb, or keep the little ones from falling off). Only complaint I heard is that while you can get it going OK speeds, it can be a bit hard to push.
