Huge park situated on a big hill. Not much level ground but many hiking trails that offer outstanding views of the city and surrounding areas. Wilderness area so wild animals such as deer are fequently spotted. Dogs are welcome but please pick up after them. Baggies are provided. Can get quite dusty in the summer.

It travels in a very comfortable way to the summit from where we have a splendid view of Kamloops. If I did not live so far, I would do it regularly. I love this hike, if I want more back country, I use the home depot entrance. I use the Petro entrance in I want a harder, longer hike. Beautiful scenery, walking amongst the trees in complete nature is breathtaking, literally ????

Kenna Cartwright is a great park and series of trials. Most the trails are marked and the majority of them link back to the main trail. My only suggestion is having more park trail maps posted along the trails so you have a better idea where each trail leads.

Decent park. There are trails all over, but there is a lot of mud in the Spring. The trails are not too difficult and you cannot hear the traffic. If it is a good day out, then the sun illuminates the area really well. There are plenty of birds here.

Very large park, the walking paths are clearly marked and well maintained. There are a lot of paths to take, the views are amazing. All the trails are clearly marked and there are Miles and Miles of different routes you could take. Often you'll run into Wildlife such as dear, and goats or sheep. It's a great place to take a date for a nice hike in the wilderness.

40 km of trails accessed from 4 different trailhead parking areas. Beautiful vistas overlooking Thompson River valley to the north. Favourite trail is Scenic Trail which has a beautiful viewing deck at end overlooking Kamloops Lake.

No shortage of branching paths and breath-taking views. Trails are mostly on an incline. Lots of nature as bugs and birds are everywhere. Plant life is also incredibly varied and seing the view come into focus as you reach the summit will give you feels. Exercise caution and wear sun protection and hydrate, you will be in direct sun most of the hike and the incline plus sweat will dehydrate you.

We had never been to Kamloops and the park, like many other things in Kamloops was a pleasant surprise. A municipal park with a great network of hiking and biking trails. Its a wide open walk with great views of the city and valley.

Amazing hiking! Be careful after it rains, the mud we hiked through was intense but otherwise the hike was incredible! Had a group of 28 children and they loved it, easy enough for the whole family, with black diamond trails for those experienced hikers!
