Love it . Beautiful adventurous lots to do free and some paid. Only draw back is the park fee which can add up over 4 nights. If you can come more then once getting a years pass is a better value. It's not cheap as with any travel at distance from major cities so if money is a concern better import your own KD lol

Nice separate spaces for camping, clean washrooms, great views! I just don't understand why we actually have to pay an extra $ 9 per day for lighting a fire though, which is basic when camping... because they provide the wood? Ah well.

Jasper is beautiful! Living in Edmonton, I took my kids every six weeks or so growing up. They still have very fond memories of the times at Jasper. I go alone now that they are adults and it is my peaceful reflection place. Good for the soul ❤️

Jasper must be one of the most unbelievably beautiful places on Earth. Even driving through is a wonder. When you get out of you car and walk in the icey-cold waters or watch the mountain goats in the hills or on the highway, you'll be astounded. The hiking trails are well marked and tended with amazing views of mountains and rivers. Accomodation can be very pricey but cheap alternatives can be found.

Would be great if half the trees were not dead with a pine beetle infestation. Also, one of the most popular hiking trails was closed.

(Translated) To visit outside the summer, no place in the campsites. We had to run after the camping places. Finally we ended up in Jasper's overflow. Only a campsite on the whole park offers a shower and very expensive! ($ 5 for 8 minutes). Too bad because the park is really worth it but is really not made to accommodate tourists. (Original) A visiter en dehors de l’été, aucune place dans les campings. On a été obligé de courir après les places de camping. Finalement on s’est retrouvé dans l’over flow de Jasper. Seulement un camping sur tout le parc propose une douche et très cher ! (5$ les 8 minutes). Dommage car le parc vaut vraiment le coup mais n’est vraiment pas fait pour accueillir les touristes.

Because of the longer drive, this absolute jewel in the Canadian National Park system is sometimes overlooked as people stop in Banff. Keep going up the Icefield Parkway to this amazing national park. Much more quiet, fewer people and views that are as nice as anywhere. Great hiking and wildlife opportunities.

Jasper National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Rocky Mountains. We visited this heavenly mountain resort in July 2019 by VIA Rail, and again in August of the same year by an organised bus tour. The scenery of the mountains and the flora and fauna of the national park is simply amazing. There are many outdoor activities and sight-seeing to be done and one can dream of coming here again and again.

The mountain was named in 1916 for Edith Cavell, a British nurse executed by the Germans during World War I for having helped Allied soldiers escape from occupied Belgium to the Netherlands, in violation of German military law.
