I have only traveled the demptser highway and the wildlife at the right time off the year is amazing the mountains are fabulous I have done this at least 45 times hunting fishing just a ride down the demptser highway on Sunday with a lunch go prepared for encounter with bears and enjoy your stay in inuvik parks up the demptser highway amazing take my word for it
