Gorgeous view of the city with cool breezes on a hot day. Lots of shade with picnic tables and benches to share a meal or just relax. Rock Garden has been planted and will soon be in full bloom.

Amazing view from the top at night. Great place for a romantic drive. Take a jacket or hoodie to keep yourself warm. The wind sometimes makes you cold. You can have a walk or watch the golden view of the city and watch the stars. Have a great time!

If any of my friends comes to Hamilton first time and ask to show the city, I bring them here since I think this is the best place in matter of look of city from peak. Enough parking spot to park car or if you are unlucky, you gotta wait because it gets busier in summer eve. Good spots to sit, great view at sunset or even at night. Must place to visit if you are in Hamilton already. Thank you.

Sometimes it’s hard to find parking, but otherwise the visit to this park is so worth it. The views are so pretty and the trail is so nice as well. When I went recently the flowers were in full bloom and it was absolutely stunning. I’ve never been to this park before, and I was amazed Hamilton had views like this. It makes you appreciate the city a lot more. 10/10!

very nice park at the brow of the escarpment. mesmerizing three dimensional views into downtown Hamilton, and beyond to Lake Ontario, Burlington, Mississauga and possibly-if-my-eyes-do-not-deceive-me Toronto. Easy parking, great walking. Views, gardens, people watching are all top notch. The expert move, of course, is to come before sunset and get the amazing views from the golden hour. Great to bring visitors, I'd imagine, or just for a walk.

Hamilton is so beautiful. People don't give it enough credit!! Sam Lawrence is such a beautiful grounds. And when there's a good truck like Smoke Street on site it's an absolute no brainer to make an afternoon of this place.

Great spot to enjoy a lookout veiw. It was my First time here. I wonder what sunsets or sunrises look like. Clean space. Lots of room. Some part is closed off. Small area to enjoy. Great pit stop for a picnic. Will come back.

Took a little road trip just to come back and visit this park! The view at night is incredible. Hamilton truly sparkles. Just as beautiful in the summer when they have the flower gardens up! One of my favourite spots and it’s simple and free to visit. Great place to read a book and clear your mind!

A really beautiful area atop the escarpment. There are a lot of stairs that lead to other trails and pathways that are fun to explore. The park did have a lot of litter lying around, but the early spring timing of our visit might have been part of the reason for so much garbage. Nevertheless, best views of downtown around!

Its a beautiful place with a panoramic view. The day and night view is equally soothing. This place reminds me of Mount royal in Quebec. Must visit when you are in Hamilton ????

Truth Is Heavy

This park offers a great view of the city. There are flowers too. Parking can be hard to get as spots are limited and many people come here. One thing I did not like was that at some places in the park, there is a foul smell that is in the air. I know this smell did not just happen once because I have been to the park many times and it always seems to creep up near the flowers/stairs.

What a beautiful place ! I am been to so many places in Hamilton and it never disappoints me. I am actually planning to move here from Toronto ???? about this place, lots of parking although sometimes you gotta wait if it’s full. The view is worth the wait. We went here around 7:30 pm managed to get daylight picture as well. Wonderful place to stroll around. Well maintained :). It’s an hour and half from Toronto. Totally worth it.

It's not as big as I would have thought but it's a nice stroll and probably one of the most beautiful lookouts in Hamilton. An outstanding and amazing place to watch the sunset. While it's usually busy, I've nerve had problems with parking.

Beautiful views and an amazing location, however the park itself seemed very poorly maintained, dandelions, unkempt grass, the stairs are far too run down. So please do justice to this park and landscape it worthy of the view it has ????

Remember this park from when I was little and my parent took us up there. Happy to see the city keeps doing the flowers and making it look beautiful. Wish the original trails were still open to walk but understand it wasn't safe. Beautiful views even if it is still Hamilton Steel city.

Lovely views from here especially with the fall colours. On a clear day you can see the CN Tower in Toronto. There is also a walkway for viewing the city and admiring the flowerbeds in the summer.

Such a beautiful park and walkway. Went for the sunset and it was an amazing view. Lots of places to sit and eat. Beautiful view of Hamilton. Only thing is wish it was a bit quieter.. but you can't do anything about the cars.
