Gore park has shaped up to be a beautiful spot to enjoy however with the ongoing construction and so many one way streets its not the kind of place I'd want to spend time these days. When the new condos are complete and occupied Gore Park will be great again. One of the statues has been removed due to bigotry and hate but GORE PARK IS BEAUTIFUL AND WILL KEEP GETTING MORE BEAUTIFUL UNTIL NOTHING ELSE CAN BE DONE. WHEN GORE PARK IS SURROUNDED WITH PEOPLE ITS AMAZING

Too many homeless people drinking and discarding their garbage everywhere. They urinate in plain view of children. Police should be monitoring this place more often I've seen people smoking cracking during the day here. Please tell me this isn't what hamilton wants people thinking of their downtown when they park to walk near fountain. It's a disgrace. Where is all our tax paying dollars going? Don't we want people to come here and see a city that's got potential?? Rather than it sticking to its stigma if being a cracking haven for the welfare and people living off social assistance.. I wouldn't want to invest into a place that already seems to have one foot in the grave of distane. At night people can't even enjoy the fountain because they might step on a needle or get harassed by the homeless for change so they can throw their empty bottle of booze and crushed beer cans.. it's disgracefyl

The Monuments at Gore Park or something we used to take pictures in front of when my eldest was small now there are events held constantly at Gore Park which not only have benefited my children directly but it built up the community in the area and for which I am so grateful the downtown Bia is doing amazing things for the downtown core. I like the fountain...think they decorate it somewhat during the holiday season, remember seeing a train for the children to ride during late November/December. Did a lot of renovations years ago, looks better then I remember. Don't really go here, people make me nervous, but do sometime cut through here when I'm in the area

Heritage Green Adventist church held a “Feed the Hungry- Body & Soul” here at Gore Park at the end of September- the park in the downtown core- is centrally located and convenient to help those in need. There is a fountain, trees, benches and lawns.

What was once an area you would want to avoid like the plague, has now been turned into somewhere nice to sit and relax during the warm seasons. It offers seating with tables and other things like a large cheesboard and some other activities to occupy the kids and kids at heart. The war memorial is beautiful aswell as our landmark fountain.

Great place to take photos ????. If you're looking for a great shot, the sun sets between the building off on king street, providing a unique opportunity for an amazing shot.

This is a great park in downtown but parking is difficult to find. There is a parking lot on Hughson but the road is closed (As of Sep 2020). You can find a paid parking in a lot near Hughson and King Street, the rates are cheap. There is also street parking on Hughson, which is what we did. We went around 8 pm at night and there weren't that many people. Lots of benches and flowers. The fountain is nice.

The fountain is bliss. There's all these different people; families, friends anybody and everybody is taking in this simple but glorious structure. It's very relaxing and there's benches too so you can comfortably take in the scenery oh and there are birds too so you can come with bread. Memories are made here.

A beautiful gem in the middle of bustling downtown Hamilton. Since they moved the HSR bus stops originating/queueing from there, it has become more even more beautiful. It is always a treat to see how it is decorated for Christmas and other occasions and it was such a great idea to restore the fountain years ago, because it is magnificant.

A beautiful fountain (summertime) highlights this bit of green and concrete in the centre of the city. Cemetath is used for Rememberance Day ceremonies - just don't read the placards too carefully (spelling and grammar). Historically one of the biggest sinkholes of poor city council decision making. nice place to set and have a coffee watch the pigeons and enjoy the fountain. it is small comparing to other parks...i went to attend the Gore Park Summer Promenade which is still on till tomorrow (25_28 July 2017 from 11 to 4) I may arrived early...waited till 11:15 then I left...most of vendors where just sitting and booths are empty. one food truck was operating and the giant chess half ready...other 2 people where there I think waiting for the action same as me but I gave up and left.
