Small park. My favourite part was the stone path circle with the Canadian flagpole and the lookoff point. There is also a dock for boats, and a very small sandy shore.

A nice view of the Northwest arm, but next to a busy traffic zone. You can walk to the edge, sit on a bench or the grass, and look at the nice view and turn off the city. Small but still nice to have.

Not a true island. But on a clear non rainy/snowy/windy day, it's a great spot to sit down and contemplate life as you surround yourself with the site of calm water. Great view of Fleming Tower. Only problem is that there is no in site restroom. That could be an issue for people with bladder or bowel problems.

Even though it is right next to the noisy roundabout, the little park is a peaceful and surprisingly quiet sitting area. Stunning views, especially sunrise. Perfect because of its location for a picnic or to take a break walking/biking on the shoreline before heading to your next destination. Parking lot for cars.

We were in the city waiting for mummy and the kids wanted to stretch their legs. We went here they finished their lunch and they went out and had a little walk around and played with the Ducks

Really enjoyed strolling around here in late October 2018 taking photos, but the wind was very cold & it was a bit overcast. I met seagulls on the shore & a flock of ducks & pigeons at a bench. It was the end of autumn but there was still some fall foliage gold & red colours.

There is a dock there .You can put a small boat,paddle board,or things like that in the water. Nice view Dingle Tower from there,nice view of The North West Arm. Large green areas ,a few benches to sit on and some paved parking. Its just a nice place to visit and stay awhile. There is also a beach there.
